Chapter 50: Craftsman

Chapter 50: Craftsman

On the first day of his reign, Gallio did as he promised. He wiped out every resistance that still lingers within the capital. He murdered nobles, raped their women and, burned down the estates of all who stabbed him at the back.

Make no mistake., there were no troops who aided him. He went on a rampage all on his own. He didn't even put his armor on as he thought that his enemies didn't deserve the honor of seeing a kingly figure destroy them. All he wore is a white shirt and brown botoms.

Gallio held his rusted [Leo Rex] in his right hand. He allowed the weapon's tip to hit the ground, making a sound that turned everything silent. The elves feared that, if they make any noise, then Gallio will come for them.

Anyone who came out in the open to fight him immediately lost their lives. Blood flowed around the capital as Gallio's blade didn't rest devouring every prey it faced. There wasn't an area that did not get stained with elven blood and, as the sun fell down, it gave out the same crimson color that seemed to cover the capital that day.

Gallio stood on top of all the corpses, stabbing his sword on the one that lay at the top of the pile. His white shirt completely turned red and, he looked at a distance as if the experienced bored him.

Glade came out fetch him soon after and, the following day, it is only support for the capital that is shown. Within Elysium, Gallio has already taken over completely.

The following days came with quickly. On every town, there forces have been deployed, giving all of them drops of the King's blood which turned them into Half Blood-Elves. This strengthened Gallio's troops without adding the effect of body transfer which is exclusive to Gallio who earned an evolution of Blood Elf Monarch.

Two weeks have passed since then and, the elves have now accepted the Kingship of Gallio. Not out of respect, but out of fear. And this same fear has driven the masses into following every order given by him. Including, the turning of all male members of the family to the capital.

Gallio has already begun planning for the war and, his chance is as high as it could get. With every soldier taking a drop of his blood; even the Beastmen who prided themselves with their strength will be no match for his army.

However, other preparations are still required. Thus, the Lion stood at the balcony of his castle. Awaiting the developments and reposts that are to be given by Glade that day. Without any more moment lost, a knock came at his doorsteps.

"Come in." Gallio said, knowing that it is Glade who knocked. After all, he is the only one permitted by the king to join him at the top of the castle.

"How did the experiment fair." The king asked, not turning to face his descendant.

"Everything went smoothly my king. However, Aeolus died in the process." Glade said not sounding apologetic at all.

"That's fine. I was wondering when that elf would die off. Resisting death's call for two whole weeks is not an easy feat." Gallio said, respecting the former king only at this matter.

The experiment which will be conducted by Gallio is simple. He'll mix Hark's body together with the dead bodies of Aeolus and Erio. Both are capable warriors who have exceeded the level [100] limit. By doing so, Gallio hopes to compensate the loss of such a precious material as the Windsprites.

"Have you caught any wind on where the Windsprites are?" Gallio asked.

"All our troops and scouts have come back empty handed my king. It seems like, they've found a way to vanish completely."

"Well nobody can do that can they?" Gallio replied, smirking at the challenge that lay before him.

"Never mind. I have a feeling that they'll come back and, if they do, I've already got a surprise prepared for them." Gallio continued.

"Yes, my king." Was Glade's short answer.

The elf is amazed at how composed Gallio is outside the battlefield. But then, he remembered how the same king was able to hold out his grudge for a thousand years. This made Gallio even more fearsome as, he is not only a ferocious predator on the battlefield but, he is a level headed ruler outside it.

As Gallio saw where the sun already is, he gave another command to Glade.

"Get my horse ready, we'll visit the remains of the dragons today." He said.

Within Yaeger's realm, Zeke has barely managed to finish some of the weapons in time. As soon as he slept, he went on to crafting and, although a lot of materials got destroyed in the process, the results are nevertheless favorable for him.

He used [Analyze] on every weapon in front of him. Taking pride in being able to create weapons that has far exceeded the technology of Elysium.

[Item Name: Negation Shield]

[Usage Level Requirement: 30]

[Durability: 100]

[Rank: D]

[Information: The weapon's strength grows with its owner making it more formidable for a wielder with a higher level.]

[Information: The shield is made from iron ores and mana consuming crystals. Adding to this are the Lyirum Mineral which decreases the potency of any physical attack made.]

[Information: Every minute, the shield surrounds it owner with a barrier. The barrier's strength is equivalent to the amount of force and spell power that has been consumed. The shield can also be used as a blast skill that damages those that surround the shield holder.]

[Information: The shield will break upon receiving more force than it can store. However, blasts can be made as it absorbs more attacks in order to prevent this from happening.]

[Item Name: Infinity Bow]

[Usage Level Requirement: 30]

[Durability: 100]

[Rank: D]

[Information: The weapon's strength grows with its owner making it more formidable for a wielder with a higher level.]

[Information: The bow is merged with a golem core making it able to store and take mana from the surroundings. The bow uses this to create the number of arrows desired by the wielder.]

[Information: The arrows can be imbued with elements and skills. However, this is a higher-level skill which requires a lot of concentration on the part of the weapon wielder.]

[Information: At maximum output, the bow can multiply and be left to float, firing by itself without the wielder having to hold on to them. This allows the weapon user to focus on defending while the bow attacks on its own.]

[Item Name: Thousand Spear]

[Usage Level Requirement: 30]

[Durability: 100]

[Rank: D]

[Information: The weapon's strength grows with its owner making it more formidable for a wielder with a higher level.]

[Information: The spear can perform and extension and retraction ability. Both takes a second to be performed in order to reach a meter's length. The spear uses mana for this operation which is supplied by the golem core placed inside it. The longer the extension, the more mana is consumed. The faster the thrust is performed, the more it'll also consume on mana.]

[Information: Mastering the weapon will not be an easy task as it requires an agile user. Adding to this is that, the owner must have a good battle sense.]

[Information: The blade of the spear is made from a rare metal that only existed during ancient times. This makes the tip able to pierce anything physical.]

"Those are some scary weapons." Zeke thought to himself after depleting all the materials in his inventory.

"The staffs and the weapons for my conjures will have to wait for tomorrow." Zeke told himself as he closed the crafting window.

After this, he proceeded to looking at the [Skill Shop]. With the main mission being completed, he is given a lot of bonuses.

[50 Skill Points]

[50 Attribute Points]

[500,000 Experience Points]

These are all the things he obtained. Zeke also thought of how, the rewards have been downsized because it wasn't him who defeated Aeolus.

"I don't think I'd need any new skill at the moment." He told himself, adding more points into his [Lesser Regeneration]. At this, the skill finally reached [A] rank with some added features to it. One of which is the skill's name changing into [Regeneration].

[Information: Regeneration will occur every 3.5 seconds with 27% of the skill owner's health being restored.]

[Information: Regeneration can restore any body part as long as the skill owner is still alive. The regeneration speed is dependent on the fatality of the injury and on the current state of the skill owner's body.]

Zeke still has [30] leftover points which he used on [Blood Counter], feeling that it is the most worthwhile skill on his arsenal to upgrade. Thus, the skill upgraded until [B-> raising the amount of damage taken back by the damage dealer to [32%].

As he thought of these, he went back to the inventory and looked at the new weapons; smiling by himself again.

"Why am I even worried. Tomorrow, those guys will get so much stronger that, they'd probably not recognize how difficult the training has been for them." Zeke told himself finally allowing his body and his mind to completely rest.
