With the first term exams of the students on the horizon, the teachers of the academy were also swarming with work. There were many things that they needed to check, many things that they needed to look after, things that they needed to prepare and things that weren't simple.

The students did not know about it but unlike the midterms that they take in the great academy, the main term exams that they have is always something unique.

Different from the normal tests prepared by the teachers, there is a council arranged for each of the subjects that the students have chosen, with classes with even one of the students having an entire council of nine dedicated to them.

This council gathers and discusses that kind of questions that will be presented to each of the students based on their performance until now.

They analyse all kinds of achievements of the students from every one of the classes that they have attended until now, observing their in class behaviour and analysing even the smallest of their behaviour patterns.

Through this death study, the council creates a dedicated paper for each of the students, and since there are around four thousand student in the academy, there are always a lot of people that have to work for each of the students.

The council contains the teachers in charge of that particular paper, and in addition to them, the remaining eight are the experts that have deep knowledge in that field of a certain aspect of that field.

"Headmaster?"

Though sometimes it is not possible to create a big council for some papers that are too unique, like the All energy utilisation paper that only had a few students this time around as well, the academy makes sure the quality of the expert panellists is always maintained.

"Did you call for us?"

The first year term exams are even more important in that aspect since this is the first time the students will experience just why the academy's tests are called Hellishly difficult to get any good scores on.

"Yes, please have a seat everyone."

Though most of the students manage to somehow pass the three years in the academy and the academy makes sure all of the students that have enrolled in the academy learns enough to become useful for this world in the future in any way possible, the challenges that they face to get a high enough score to be on rankings is the most competitive in the entire world.

Not only competing against one another, the academy makes the students compete against their past selves, making them improve in the direction that they are most suited for while at the same time, giving them enough room to grow in any dimension that they wish to.

The individual wishes are taken into account, and at the same time, their latent talents and potential is considered when pushing them in certain directions that, the evaluations of the experts, is more suited for them.

It is a highly complicated process that not even the teachers who have worked in the academy for centuries understand sometimes. But, the headmasters who look after most of these exams and most of the papers of these exams know what they have to do and what the various panel members are doing.

The student evaluation is a crucial part of the teaching process which has a unique intangible relationship with the teaching process itself.

The founding fathers of the academy had once said, "To teach is to test, and to test is to learn".

Without learning, there is no teaching and learning only occurs when someone acquires something that they previously did not have.

It could be modification in their existing knowledge, addition of knowledge or refinement of unpolished or untrue knowledge.

The academy focuses on the learning part while aiming to develop the prospects that it has for various worldly fields that they might have interest in, or perhaps in some cases, to train them for places that would require their presence to develop that field further.

The world was a big place, and there were countless institutions all around the world, and still, the Great academy of Hope was still the most prestigious of them all, as well as one that had produced the greatest of the individuals ever known to the known history.

"This time, the council won't have that tough of a competition."

Among the countless special people that the academy had produced, many had come from the Student council, individuals handpicked by the headmasters, people that received unique opportunities in exchange for their own efforts and services.

But still, whatever they had received from the academy or the headmasters, be it the simplest of items or the most valuable of advice… they all had earned it with efforts that the other simple students had no idea about.

"But, since the people that are going to take over those important roles next year are just that special, the tests that they will receive should also be that appropriate, right?"

Each of the student council members was tested in a more unique way from the others.

Since they are handpicked by the headmasters themselves, they are tested much more vigorously than the other students, and they have to improve with each of the tests that are given to them.

The first term exams are the first hurdle that they have to cross to remain in the council. And the second term exam is what decides if they will remain in the council or not.

But the first term exam sets the foundation for them… especially the ones who are to take on the roles of Student council president and Vice presidents.

The tests that they take are the craziest things among any other kind of tests the normal students give throughout their three years in the academy.

And, the ones who take these tests, including the two headmasters, are the people that are special, masters of their own fields and many more, as well as people that don't associate with many people.

Some of them are part of the academy, while some of them are simply people who only visit the academy when the testing day for particularly the paper that they had set arrives.

There are many steps involved in testing the council president and vice president positions, but after the first term exams, it becomes clear whether the ones who have the most qualifications to get those positions are actually appropriate for those positions or not.

"The others will be with us shortly. Let us start with the other members of the council first."

The teachers that had arrived here were mostly the teachers who had one or more student council members in their classes.

Still, since they are the teachers of these students, it is pretty much obvious who among the tens or hundreds learning under them might be directly connected to the headmaster.

"Oh, before we start this, as some of you might not know, the ones that have the most qualifications to get the council roles have actually helped me with quite a lot of things in the time we have had them."

Since these people, including the ones who will be joining them through the many crystal balls present all around the headmaster's office right now, we're going to discuss about the council members, they needed to know what these people had done for the academy, and for this world until now.

Their contribution to the council as well as this world was what the academy's original system, and sir Quesnel questified into Value points and assigned to them.

"Don't be surprised… This isn't the final count. Some points will be added by the time the exams start. But these will give you a better understanding of these people."

The headmaster summoned a simple magic screen before them all, and on this screen, there was a list of all the council members, and beside their names, there was a quantified value of their achievements, and contributions until now.

The few names on the bottom were not disappointing at all, but the ones on the top were a little confusing for the others to understand a little.

"Ummm… headmaster…?"

"You're not seeing it wrong, Lady Clio."

The value scores of the last positions was in thousands while the ones on the top six rankings had a number higher than four digits. But, that was the story for only the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth place.

The first two…

The number value beside these two names was in seven digits. Not five or six, but in seven digits…

It was, to even these experts that had seen all kinds of crazy things throughout their long lives, simply crazy.

The magic screen before them was divided into multiple parts and each of the individuals present there received their own screen.

If they tapped on the names present on these screens, the data of all the things that they have done until now would be briefly revealed to them.

And, even though it wasn't too much, the information that they were revealing to them…

"I had severely underestimated both of those troublemakers…"
