The concept of 3,000 undead wasn't to be taken lightly. Even without saying it was an overwhelming horde, Qin Muye could be drowned in their spit-if these undead actually had spit, that is.

Through his Reconnaissance Skill, Qin Muye saw that this group of Skeleton Soldiers didn't have any treasure, their bare Attack And Defense Attributes were a staggering 24 points in attack and 22 in defense, which was just too outrageous.

Even after leaving the newbie phase, where the Skeleton Soldier attributes increased from the initial 2 attack and 1 defense to 4 attack and 2 defense, being amplified by the Undead Knight to such an extent was truly terrifying.

From this, it could be deduced that the Undead Knight's Attack And Defense Attributes were at least 200 as a base, considering that a hero's Attack And Defense amplify 10% on an Undead Knight.

Qin Muye also investigated the Undead Knight: Level 20; naturally, he couldn't find out anything beyond that.

Qin Muye was completely astounded. With just these hundred Evil Corpse Knights, no wonder they can act as the boss.

Their Life Value was also insanely high, and with their increased Movement Speed, they could hit and run without anyone being able to catch up.

One thing to note is that Spirit Monsters have no Movement Speed bonus, and thankfully these were only Cavalry, not Mounted Archers; otherwise, Qin Muye could be kite-killed only with the use of hit-and-run tactics.

The opposing Undead Knight didn't make use of any magic and didn't even bother with the Skeleton Soldiers and Walking Corpses, leading the hundred Evil Corpse Knights straight on a charge.

The speed was incredibly fast, but fortunately, the Demon Blood's reaction wasn't bad either, charging forward with the Frenzy Blood Spirit Monster in tow.

At this point, there was no time to care about anything else; dark incantations began to crazily unleash various negative statuses, forcefully suppressing the Evil Corpse Knight and the opposing Undead Knight Hero's attributes.

Qin Muye had no choice but to focus solely on his task, constantly releasing Magic Divine Arrows to disrupt the Undead Hero.

Even with Demon Blood bursting into Blood Frenzy and the weakening effect of the dark incantations, it was still at a disadvantage in terms of attributes. The enemy boasted an Attack And Defense Attributes of 200. Even if a level 5 dark incantation had 57 points of Power, plus the reduction from other magics, it was still impossible to reduce it below 100 points.

Without even 100 points in Attack And Defense, how could Demon Blood possibly win? However, luckily, Qin Muye and the dark incantation managed to distract the Undead Hero while Qin Muye kept Demon Blood's Life Value up just enough to hold on.

As for the Evil Corpse Knight, it wasn't as formidable as the Undead Knight Hero and got whittled down by the Frenzy Blood Spirit Monsters, who surrounded and beat it.

That was some good news indeed.

As long as Demon Blood held on, and once the Frenzy Blood Spirit Monsters had eliminated all the Evil Corpse Knights, Skeleton Soldiers, and Walking Corpses, they could then concentrate their assault on the Undead Knight Hero.

A single Hero can indeed change the course of a battle, but that's only if the Hero has overwhelming capabilities or the power to clinch victory.

For example, the dark incantation was capable of such decisive power. Demon Blood, however, fell short of that mark.

If it weren't for the dark incantations' malus effects holding the enemy at bay, Demon Blood would have probably been killed by the Undead Knight Hero in one hit instead of still being

able to fight.

Even so, there were still numerous casualties. Most weren't affected by the clash between the Undead Knight Hero and Demon Blood; a small portion was slain by the Evil Corpse Knights. The Evil Corpse Knights, with an Attack And Defense of 80 and even reduced attributes, retained significant strength. Even as the Frenzy Blood Spirit Monsters advanced to Rank 2 through the Magic Spirit Monster factory, the two sides were evenly matched-unless the dark incantation's Death Curse Aura could stack more layers. But to truly suppress it, that would take at least 20 minutes.

The other Spirit Monsters might last the 20 minutes, but Demon Blood couldn't. It was restraining the Undead Knight Hero and required Qin Muye to help maintain its Life Value, or it would have perished long ago.

As for the cause of death, that was naturally because Qin Muye no longer had enough Magic Value to release the Healing magic. His Magic Value wasn't infinite and couldn't withstand such waste even if it was at full capacity.

Therefore, they must fight quickly; the longer the battle dragged on, the less advantageous it became for Qin Muye and his side. Although the dark incantations' Death Curse Aura stacked over time, a point of Attack And Defense was insignificant to the enemy Undead Knight Hero. Once they killed the Evil Corpse Knights, the remaining number of Walking Corpses and Skeleton Soldiers, although vast, was not a significant threat with their Attack And Defense Attributes reduced to zero. A hundred Frenzy Blood Spirit Monsters could cut through them. The remaining hundreds of Frenzy Blood Spirit Monsters naturally went to support Demon

Blood.

The Undead Knight Hero was rather determined, stubbornly fighting against Demon Blood, the single Spirit Monster.

Of course, even if the enemy wanted to attack Qin Muye and the dark incantation, they would first have to break through Demon Blood and then face a multitude of Frenzy Blood Spirit Monsters; otherwise, they had virtually no chance of breaking the defense line.

With the mass death of the Evil Corpse Knights, the Undead Knight Hero became increasingly

impatient. After all, these were his direct troops, and it wouldn't be easy to cultivate such a powerful force again once they were gone, especially considering the limited habitable areas in Red Wind Plain, which reflected the scarcity of resources.

Without sufficient resources, nothing would work.

He had the patience, though. Despite his impatience, he still pondered over how to break the

stalemate.

In the end, he concluded that he must first kill the Spirit Monster that had been constantly causing him trouble. Otherwise, it was all for naught.

As for the so-called God-given Lord hiding behind, he had already figured out that the Lord was useless. He could turn him into a corpse with a single slash.

But then... no matter what, he couldn't kill this Spirit Monster in front of him. Every time it

was close to death, it would burst out with great Power to delay him, and then it would be

healed.

Because the Evil Corpse Knights... were all dead, and a large number of Spirit Monsters came

swarming in, attacking recklessly and indiscriminately.

He might very well be worn out to death by this.
