Chapter 2545 The Haima Tribe's Help
Chapter 2545 The Haima Tribe's Help
A loud voice that triumphed over the sound of the incoming Tsunami was heard by everyone.
Even those that were inside the water could hear it clearly, making them confused as the sound should have been greatly muffled.
Lin Mu who had been concerned about the Tsunami instantly smiled as he heard the voice.
"They're finally here." Lin Mu muttered.
~SPLASH~
Just as he said that though, a rather large of Lava was about to fall on his head. But before it could reach him, a jet of water blasted it apart, cooling it into rocks that exploded back into dust.
"Haima Tribe, erect the ceiling!" A loud voice called out.
"HAAAH!" in the next second, the ocean around them started to stir.
~GUSH~GUSH~GUSH~GUSH~
Hundreds of water spouts rose from the ocean, extending for kilometers. They began spraying water everywhere, making it look like a monsoon had just arrived.
But that was only for a few seconds, as the spouts began to connect, and the water stopped falling. Instead, it defied the gravity and floated in the air!
Soon, a vast ceiling that was hundreds of kilometer began to form as more and more pillars began rising from the ocean.
With that done, a safety zone was created in the ocean.
Any lava that dripped down was instantly cooled by the water ceiling and the hardened rocks were sucked down through the water pillars, being deposited safely down into the ocean floor.
The people that were hiding in the ocean were curious about it all and wondered if they should come up.
Lin Mu held the Communication jade slip as he got a message from the Crown Prince.
"You call can come up now. Reinforcement have arrived." Lin Mu announced.
~SHUA~SHUA~SHUA~
As soon as he said that, they people that were being protected by the Flood Dragon in the depths all rose up.
"What the…. Is that a Tsunami?" They were quickly stunned by the massive wall of water that was still heading towards them.
"Wait… is it slowing down?" Daoist Chu noticed.
"It is… There's someone inside it." Ziran narrowed his eyes and observed. Nôv(el)B\\jnn
~SPLASH~ A few seconds later, the Tsunami seemingly paused a hundred meters from Lin Mu, and the wave flattened out.
Instead of wave, it was as if a platform made out of water was floating in the air. And standing on the platform were several familiar faces.
"Head Elder Niji." Lin Mu greeted with a smile. "It's been a while."
"Hahaha! It certainly has been." Head Elder Niji said as he stood at the front.
Looking at the Man, Lin Mu could tell that he had gone through a lot of changes. Not only did the man look bulkier than before, he was also a lot younger.
If he was a grandfather in his nineties before, he now looked like a man in his fifties now. His arms were twice as thick, while his legs were four times as thick, showing just how much he had improved. But that wasn't all, as the Immortal Qi fluctuations that were coming from the man were also strong.
"You've improved a lot, High Elder." Lin Mu praised the man who now looked to be at the Seventh Tribulation Stage of the Immortal Realm. "And the same could be said for the tribe." He said glancing at the others who were all at the Fifth Tribulation Stage of the Immortal realm at the minimum.
Lin Mu saw around a thousand such individuals, and they all exuded a strong aura that was unified. The others who saw the Haima Tribe were both surprised and intrigued by them. They seemed to be a humanoid race, but they had four legs and two arms, and had a very tall stature. Not to mention, their skin was blue and quite different than any other race they had seen.
Even for the experienced and well learned individuals such as Crown Prince Feng Shun, Ziran and Lady Kang, the Haima Tribe was a mystery.
If they had been facing them without Lin Mu, they would have been very concerned about it. 'It's as if we're not facing individuals, but an entire ocean.' Ziran thought to himself, feeling the boundless aura that collectively emanated from the Haima Tribe's individuals.
'Who are these people? Their strength is very high. Did a power like this exist in the Rust Sky World?' Crown Prince Feng Shun wondered.
The power that the Haima Tribe were demonstrating right now was very imposing and they were basically an army that could easily face the forces of the Dao Wind Empire if they went up.
Each and every individual was at the minimum of the Fifth Tribulation Stage of the Immortal realm and Crown Prince didn't think these were even the elites among them.
He could faintly sense ten individuals among them that were at the Sixth Tribulation Stage of the Immortal realm spread within and three Seventh Tribulation Stage Immortals among them too.
Of course, the one standing right in front of Lin Mu was the strongest among them, having a cultivation that was also at the Seventh stage, but still a notch above the others present. The man named Head Elder Niji also had a physique that was superior to the others.
"Who are these people, Daoist Lin Mu?" Lady Kang approached, feeling interested in their new allies.
"Yeah, I've never heard of or read about a race like theirs before." Crown Prince Feng Shun also asked.
But there was one among the group other than Lin Mu that recognized the Haima tribe.
"What? The Haima Tribe? Your all are still alive!?" the Flood Dragon Qiulong Jiao asked in shock.
"Oh? There's someone that actually knows about us?" Head Elder Niji was surprised.
"The Haima Tribe?" Crown Prince and the others noted the name.
"They're also natives of your world, Crown Prince." Lin Mu answered.
"Why haven't we any knowledge of them?" the man was confused.
"Of course there won't be any. Your human powers drove them to extinction," Qiulong Jiao replied, making everyone be taken aback.
"They… did?" Crown Prince Feng Shun hadn't expected that.
"We can talk more about this later, but first we have to deal with the situation at hand," Head Elder Niji said, feeling something stirring within the waters.
"Yeah." Lin Mu nodded. "Sorry if we were late." Head Elder Niji apologized. "We were interrupted by some strange creatures that poured down from the sky. We had to split our forces, so I only brought over a small force of a thousand of our members. The rest are holding back the swarm." He revealed.
"Only a thousand??" Chong Fa widened his eyes. "This is a small force?" "Looks like you faced the Chimeric beasts too. They're the enemy I mentioned." Lin Mu replied. "It's all good, though. We need to deal with them anyway and they'll be a big pain to clear out." He said with a sigh.
It was clear that the Chimeric beasts were a lot more widespread, seeing that even the Haima Tribe was interrupted by them.
"How do we deal with this?" Crown princess Shang asked. "Did your method work, Daoist Lin Mu?" Crown Prince Feng Shun asked.
"No." Lin Mu shook his head. "There' still no sign of the Saintess." "So that's whom you were trying to contact." The Crown Prince now understood how Lin Mu was confident of doing it earlier. "Is the Honored Celestial not answering?" Lady Kang inquired.
"I don't know what's the issue is . I'm not able to reach here. The twins say that they can't feel her presence either." Lin Mu said looking at Xiao Yin and Xiao Yang, who were still trying hard.
"What did you intend to do?" Head Elder Niji asked, wondering about it. "Perhaps we might be able to help?" "It's like this…" Lin Mu explained the need of a Celestial so that the key could be used to push off the Bridge Plan and fix the arrays going haywire.
"A Celestial you say?" Head Elder Niji's eyes lit up. "You know something?" Lin Mu saw the man's experience change.
"I had intended to keep it as a surprise for later, but it seems like this is the perfect time." Head Elder Niji answered. "There's someone that can certainly help now." "Who?" Lin Mu and the others all wondered.
"Let me just call them." Head Elder Niji said as he looked at his tribe. "All tribesmen, begin the rite!" "YES!" they all replied before spreading apart.
~THUD~THUD~THUD~THUD~
In the next moment, they all began to stomp their feet while Head Elder Niji began to sing.
It was sung in the native tongue of the Haima Tribe as such the others couldn't understand it, but Lin Mu could.
"We call for you, O' Guardian.
The time has come…
The time for your return…
The return to your rightful place…
Come O', Come O', Great Guardian!" Head Elder Niji sang.
The others also joined in while dancing in a unique way.
Each of their four legs moved in a rhythm, as they stomped on the water platform, creating a unique music that was never heard by anyone.
