Chapter 102: A Man's Preferences
Chapter 102: A Man’s Preferences
As planned, Alex showed up at his favorite bar, the one where he had gone out with Su-Jin for drinks with her friends not so long ago. And sure enough, there was Chun-Hei waiting for him. He had to admit; he was not accustomed to seeing the woman in casual clothes. But she definitely rocked the look as she wore a striped shirt, a black skirt, black thigh highs, and a pair of black boots.
When she saw Alex, Chun-Hei had a bit of a complicated expression on her pretty face. Especially when he ordered a few beers and a shot of soju for each of them before sitting down in front of her. She was just about to say something when Alex pounded his shot before complimenting the woman.
“You know, I got to say, you look a hell of a lot prettier when you aren’t stuffed up in that old uniform. So, police girl, what did you want to talk about?”
Chun-Hei rolled her eyes when Alex still called her by that stupid nickname before questioning him.
“Okay, what’s the deal? Even now when I’m off duty and dressed in my civilian clothes, you still call me freaking Police Girl?”
Alex chuckled when he heard this before responding in a shameless manner while taking a sip of his beer.
“Hey, I think it fits, don’t you? But seriously, what did you want to talk to me about?”
Chun-Hei sighed as she reached into her bag and pulled out some case files from the one which involved Mimi’s stalker.
“The man who attempted to kill Mi-Young was a thirty-year-old man by the name of Son Yo-Han, he was apparently what you might call a super fan, and had deluded himself into thinking that he and the young idol were in a relationship. As far as I can tell, he had no actual relationship with the girl.”Alex immediately picked up on what Chun-Hei had said, without her even meaning to give it away. After all, he was a man with a good sense of observation, and thus he took a sip of his beer before asking about it.
“Was?”
Chun-Hei looked at Alex with a stunned expression before sighing heavily and speaking her thoughts out loud.
“You are a lot smarter than you look, did you know that? Most people wouldn’t be able to pick up on that… Yes was, as in the stalker is now deceased. Apparently, he committed suicide in his cell while awaiting arraignment. Clearly, the image of the two of you hugging on stage was too much for him to handle… Anyway, that’s not what I wanted to ask you about.
He had done some deep investigation into you. You know how crazy people are, anyway apparently he was a pretty good hacker, because he managed to find out a lot of stuff about you, especially this.”
Alex’s entire bank account and stock portfolio were on full display in an image in front of him. After making many investments with the money the Queen of Hearts had given him, Alex was worth approximately twenty-five million dollars at the moment.
Most of it was, of course, tied up with stocks. But what was curious was that whenever the police, or federal agents tried to trace where this money had come from, they came up empty. It was completely anonymous. Even the stalker had tried to find out where Alex had gotten his money through some rather illegal means and couldn’t find an answer.
In the end, the stalker left behind a particularly disturbing painting on the wall of his bedroom, which appeared to have been drawn in his own blood. Alex immediately recognized the symbol, as it was the same one tattooed across the Queen of Heart’s body, and below this symbol was the word “Life = NTR Manga?”.
There was also another disturbing sight within the man’s room. Which showed Alex’s photograph in the center, along with the word “Antagonist” written below it. This picture was connected to those of Mimi, Sakura, Min-Ah, and all the other heroines that Alex was involved with. As well as the MC’s he had taken them from. This caused Alex to tense up on the spot, especially when he heard a familiar voice enter his ears.
“Oh? Did this little MC discover the truth about this world? This would explain why he went crazy and tried to kill Mimi, instead of trying to court her like he was supposed to… How very interesting…. Well, it appears I’m going to have to report this to the higher ups. After all, we wouldn’t want another incident like this to occur in the future, now would we?. ”
Alex wanted to speak with the Queen of Hearts and interrogate her about what she knew regarding this sudden fourth wall break, as well as just who the hell these “higher-ups” were that she was reporting to. But Alex also knew that if he did so, then Chun-Hei would hear him. And thus, he remained silent, that is until Chun-Hei asked him another question.
“Do you know what this symbol is?”
Alex scoffed when he heard this, before looking at Chun-Hei as if she were the world’s worst detective, which he also immediately gave voice to.
“What? You don’t have google? It’s a common symbol worn by women who have a fetish for white guys… Or are you perhaps already aware, and are instead propositioning me right now?”
Chun-Hei took one look at the symbol, before googling it on her phone, and realizing that Alex was speaking the truth. She then became flushed red in embarrassment, as she struggled to come up with the words to explain her own incompetency.
“No… I….”
Ultimately, Chun-Hei just decided to take the shot of Soju, and chug the beer, before requesting a second round. As that would be easier than admitting she was a failure as a detective. After a very thorough conversation about what little Alex knew about the stalker, Chun-Hei became convinced that she was over thinking things.
She had no idea why the stalker would target Alex, nor did he apparently have a clue either. And thus, the two of them began talking about their lives. Apparently, he was spot on with his assumption earlier that Chun-Hei was promoted due to nepotism.
In fact, the details were far more juicy than Alex had ever imagined, as Chun-Hei revealed that her father had assigned her to her current partner, because her father wanted her to marry him. But although she liked the man as a friend, she had yet to think of him as a romantic partner, and instead was offended that her father would try to arrange a marriage for her. Which she was quick to bitch about.
“It’s so unfair! What century does that old fool think this is? Women can choose their own partners now! He has no right to do this to me!”
Alex smirked and took a sip from his drink. He was far more sober than Chun-Hei and decided to egg her on to drink more with a taunt of his own.
“Oh really? You know, I think your old man might be onto something. We gave women the freedom to vote and choose their own partners. And look where that led us? Women these days keep falling for some bad boy who will use them for her body but never commit or provide for them.
In the end, most of them will end up used up and in their forties with no husband, no children, and only a couple of dogs or cats to keep them company. If you ask me, women were a lot better off when their fathers chose men for them, because they clearly haven’t displayed the intelligence that is necessary to choose well for themselves.”
Chun-Hei had an incredibly offended look on her otherwise pretty face while she questioned Alex’s sanity for speaking such hypocritical words.
“How can you possibly say that, when you are like the poster child for bad boys?”
This caused Alex to chuckle, as he responded to Chun-Hei’s question in a way that immediately shut her up.
“Yeah, you know what? You’re right about that! But do you know the difference is between me and those other bad boys? I actually commit and provide for the women who are fucking worth it. And since you know what my bank accounts look like, you know damn well I’m not bluffing.”
This comment indeed shut Chun-Hei up, as she blushed profusely and looked away. Clearly, she was too embarrassed to refute Alex. However, her next words shocked the man, as she asked him a question he never thought he would hear from her.
“So… What does a woman have to do in order to be worth your commitment?”
Alex smirked as he leaned back in his booth and drank from his beer. He was more than happy to lecture this woman on what he thought about the subject.
“Depends on the women. I have different sets of criteria for different women. In your example, you’re a young woman who has never been married, and never had children. So first off you would have to be a virgin. No hymen, no diamond! That’s an unnegotiable rule!”
This remark shocked Chun-Hei, but she at the same time felt a little bit happy, because she had managed to preserve her virginity despite being in her mid-twenties. Which was something virtually no woman in the west could claim. She was curious about the other criteria Alex had and thus asked about it.
“Alright, what else?”
Alex took another sip of his beer before lifting off the rest of his criteria with a particularly smug grin on his face.
“Well, in addition to being a virgin, a woman has to be able to cook and clean in order for me to consider her worth my time and resources. She also needs to be good with kids, and she must be submissive, or at the very least not combative enough that she is a routine pain in my ass. Other than that, there are not exactly a whole lot of other deal breakers.
I’d prefer a girl who doesn’t drink in excess, doesn’t do drugs, and doesn’t smoke, but those can be negotiable based upon the circumstances and whether or not she has other qualities that make up for them. Oh yeah, one more thing, she also can’t have any guy friends. If she does, then she needs to cut them out of her life. Period!”
Chun-Hei zoned out for a few seconds as she tallied up how many of those conditions she actually met and found out that she had met all the hard requirements. But she did not even brag about that, and instead asked Alex the question he was waiting for.
“So you have all of those requirements for a girl, but what does she get out of it?”
It was clear to Alex that the inebriated Chun-Hei was genuinely considering the option of being his woman, and because of this he smirked before leaning in close so that his skills [Pheromones] and [Siren’s Call] would activate properly
“My women get everything provided for them that they could ever ask for. They also have the security of me protecting them. And perhaps most importantly, they will receive all the sexual gratification that their bodies can handle….”
In that moment, Chun-Hei did not know why, but she suddenly felt as if she had downed an entire bottle of soju in an instant. A wave of heat overwhelmed her, as her mind struggled to get Alex’s handsome face out of her mind. She was just about to say something when the man leaned in close and kissed her, thus preventing any exit from this situation that she may have otherwise gone for.
Though Chun-Hei was surprised by Alex’s bold actions, she allowed him to kiss her, and when he finally broke away from her lips, there was a look of longing in her eyes while she voiced her thoughts out loud.
“That was my first kiss….”
Alex chuckled when he heard this, and continued to kiss the woman with passion, and when he finally pulled apart again, he posed a question to her that she could no longer deny.
“Well… Then how about we go find ourselves a nice and private place, where I can truly make you my woman….”
When Alex said this, he reached over and slipped his hand under her shirt, and groped her sizeable breasts, causing her body to become even more consumed by the heat. Chun-Hei was simply too embarrassed to say another word, and bit her lip while silently nodding her head.
Which caused Alex to help the woman out of the both, whereupon paying the bill for their drinks, he carried the woman like a princess to his car, and drove off to the nearest love hotel. All the while, he reached into the young woman’s skirt, and played with her virgin pussy, to ensure that she stayed in her lustful trance. After all, the last thing he needed was for her to sober up and realize how serious of a commitment she was in the process of making.
