Chapter 135: Chapter 133: Smallville Harvest Festival



[3rd POV]

Walking through the bustling streets of Smallville, Talia and the girls had smiles on their faces. The Harvest Festival was in full swing, and they were enjoying all that it had to offer.

"Talia, it's the chocolate covered bacon!" Hope said, as she walked over with sparkling eyes, causing Talia to laugh.

"5 servings of chocolate covered bacon, please" Talia said to the older woman that was serving it.

Hearing this, the woman smiled and walked behind her, before grabbing five small plates with chocolate covered bacon on them.

"That'll be 10 dollars, please" The woman said, causing Talia to look surprised at the price, before reaching into her wallet and grabbing out a 50$ bill.

"Oh I can't take this, it's too much" The woman said, causing Talia to wave her off.

"Take it, Ma'am, cause I'm not taking it back" Talia said with a smile, causing the woman to look at her with a thankful smile.

"Thank you, truly!" The woman said, as Talia walked off with Hope, back to the rest of the girls who had watched the interaction.

"That was nice of you" Clary said, causing Talia to shrug.

"It was nothing, just giving a kind old lady some money, that's all" Talia replied, before she handed each of them their chocolate covered bacon.

Biting into it, Talia blinked in surprise "Wow, that is....a lot better than I was expecting. The tastes go quite well together" Talia muttered, as the girls bit into theirs.

"This is great! Talia, do you think you could make something like this?" Isabelle asked, causing Talia to hum and nod.

"I'd have to mess around with the ingredients a bit, but I'm sure I could" Talia replied, as she watched Kara devour the chocolate covered bacon with an amused smile.

At being caught, Kara blushed and coughed "Sorry, I was just hungry" Kara said with a small squeak.

"Well then, want to go find that deep fried butter you two want to try so bad?" Talia asked, causing Clary and Kara's eyes to light up as they nodded.

"Blegh" Clary coughed as she bit into deep fried butter, only to immediately cringe as she spat it out onto the plat.

While Kara on the otherhand just chewed on it with a surprised hum, before gulping it down "It's not bad, kinda reminds me of the outside of a corndog"n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

"I regret everything" Clary coughed, as she tossed the plate into a nearby garbage can.

Chuckling at their opposite reactions, Talia passed Clary a lemonade they bought, which the girl instantly drank down.

"Never again" Clary shivered, as she drank more of the lemonde, while the rest of the girls giggled at her reaction.

"Hmm, is that Lana?" Hope asked, causing Talia to glance at a woman who was definitely Lana Lang.

"Are you going to go and talk to her?" Kara asked, causing Talia to nod.

"Yep, how about you girls go and play some games, and once I get back we can go and dance?" Talia asked, causing their eyes to light up.

"You're really going to dance?" Clary asked with sparkling eyes, having never seen her dance

before.

"Yep, but only if you're good girls~" Talia said with a teasing grin, as she noticed the way Kara blushed beat red at the word, and the way some of them rubbed their thighs together. "We'll be good, promise" Isabelle replied with a cough, trying to fight down the shiver. "Good, I'll be back in a few minutes" Talia said, giving them a small wave as they all nodded and walked off, leaving her alone.

Seeing them walk off, Talia smiled and then turned, before walking towards the back of Lana. Coughing, Talia spoke "Hello, are you Lana Lang?"

Lana at these words, jumped slightly and turned around "Oh wow! You scared me. And yes, I'm Lana"

"Sorry about that"

"It's alright, is there something you needed?"

"Ah, sort of. I heard of the fire, the one that had burnt all the donations. And I believe you're the one I need to go do to donate, right?" Talia asked, causing Lana to look at her in slight surprise before nodding.

"Yes, but because of the fire, I'm not sure if we'll be able to do it anymore" Lana said with a sad sigh, as she wanted to be able to do it, but she doubted it due to the fire burning up

everything.

"And what if I give you a check with a...sizeable amount of money?"

"A check?"

"Mmmhmm. You see, I've recently moved to this town a few days ago. Remember the Mayfield farm?" Talia asked, causing Lana to nod "I ended up buying it, a few weeks ago actually. And I thought that as a resident of Smallville, it's only right that I donate to the cause, especially with the fire and all that's happened"

"I couldn't ask you to donate, I know that the farms around town have been struggling" Lana replied, shaking her head, as it was the truth. Most of the farms around the town were going under, due to a huge farming crisis going on at the moment.

"It's really not a problem, Lana. I have more than enough money, and I think it's only right I donate some of it to those in need" Talia replied with a soft smile, as she reached into her pocket and brought out a check.

"I hope this is enough to cover the damages and to help those who need it properly" Talia said, as she handed the check to Lana, who gasped at the amount.

"I-I can't accept this! This is too much..." "Talia" "This is too much Talia! The total donations that were burnt didn't cost even a tenth of this!" Lana said, as she looked at the check for 1.5 million dollars.

"Like I said Lana, it's nothing. I may not look it, but I've got more than enough money to donate something like this. I just hope you'll accept it, otherwise I'll have to find another way to donate this money" Talia replied, causing Lana who's hands were shaking as she held the largest check she had ever seen, to breathe in and nod.

"O-Okay, I'll accept the donation. But! I will tell everyone about this, it's only right that everyone knows that you donated so much" Lana said, causing Talia to raise an eyebrow, before nodding slowly in acceptance.

"I suppose that is fine. Ah, and my full name is Talia Morningstar, miss Lana" Talia replied with a smile, as she shook the woman's hand.

"Just Lana is fine, Talia, I'm not that old. And...thank you, truly. This donation will go a long ways for those that need it" Lana replied, causing Talia to smile.

"Well then, Lana, I'll be off, I've got some...friends that are waiting for me" Talia said with a smile, as she gave Lana one last wave, before walking off, leaving the older woman to herself. "Who was that?" A voice sounded out behind Lana, causing her to turn to find Clark standing there, alongside his wife, Lois Lane.

"That was the newest resident of Smallville, and your neighbor, Talia Morningstar" Lana said as she watched the tall woman walk off.

"She's also the one who just made up for all the donations burnt in the fire" Lana said, letting both Lois and Clark see the check in her hands, causing their eyes to widen in surprise, while

Lois's soon furrowed in confusion.

"Who is she? Not just anyone can donate 1.5 million dollars casually like that" Lois muttered, as Clark sighed, knowing his wife was about to go into detective mode once more. "No idea, but she just helped a lot of people, and I think that's all that matters right now"

Walking off and listening to the three speak, Talia smiled and thought 'Looks like I'll have a journalist knocking on my door soon'

A grin slowly formed on Talia's face, as she only had one thought at that idea.

Lois Lane makes her first appearance, and is now going to be looking into Talia! Lana has her first formal meeting with Talia, and Talia donates a ton of money to those in need! Next chapter will be more slice of life stuff. Talia probably won't be getting super involved in

the show until later into the "season" when Tal-Rho becomes more prevalent. Season 2 is

when she'll become truly involved.
