Chapter 476 IronHeart Duke Mansion
476 IronHeart Duke Mansion
Chapter 476
...….
BAM!
The colossal and opulent doors of the IronHeart Duke mansion slammed open as an old man with a certain amount of class in his step phased through to the other side.
And not long after this figure appeared, a woman in a tight-fitted black and white suit formed from thin air, tagging right along behind the retired BranchMaster.
"It's good to see you, Young Azmond. Did you enjoy yourself while in the Luminous Grounds?"
Adrian IronHeart's friendly voice echoed throughout the vibrant and colorful yard as he, along with the beautiful woman behind him, were standing on the other side of the large mansion gates.
Azmond smiled a little at the pleasant attitudes of both the BranchMaster and his disciple, Elara, before saying, "You two truly are a breath of fresh air."
He couldn't help but compare them to most of the other nobles he had met in the Centennial Clash, and at such a comparison, he realized just how humble Adrian and Elara were.
They would not make good Young Master Peng's… In fact, they are nowhere near the level of Young Master Peng Dao that I have comprehended…
Azmond was a little saddened over the fact that he was unable to find another avid set of Young Master Peng's, but in the end, it was still nice to see the two of them.
Although he hadn't had much interaction with them when the beast wave happened in the City of RiverBloom, it was due to their help that he was able to get his Adventurer status kick-started.
...
That reminds me… I should probably go and complete that 'Climb to the Top of the Adventurer Ranks' quest when I have the chance with a few more clones.
Azmond has been thinking about that clone system function he would unlock at the Quantum Mahayana Realm, and he has been patiently waiting for the moment he obtained such an overpowered system feature!
Just imagining all the things he could get done with dozens or hundreds of himself was enough to make him start daydreaming.
Nonetheless, he still had some room and lodging to obtain from these wealthy acquaintances of his.
Azmond was originally going to ask Percival, Ayalah, and Spiritflame to let him stay somewhere while he and Calista were enrolled in the Royal Academy of AquaRing.
However, after asking them through voice transmission, they responded, 'We spent all our money on the more distinguished establishments in AquaRing'.
Upon which, they shamelessly slithered away, attempting to suck up to the AquaRing Royal family after understanding that they would be receiving nothing from Azmond.
They were disappointed at this fact, but Azmond did promise them that if they did a good job keeping Marina and the rest safe, then they would be rewarded with enough money to be considered Kings!
At this promise, they had a complete 360 in their attitudes and were suddenly willing to do whatever it took to take care of the leader's ladies!
On that note, they all unanimously decided to call Azmond their leader. After all, they had heard about his identities, and it was at that moment they knew which thigh they needed to latch onto!
If only Percival's wife and Clawdia's mother knew about the antics of that sleazy man… Heh~ Just imagining the drama that would unfold makes me anticipate the day that I can revel in the misfortunes of that middle-aged dude… n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
Azmond was going to continue gloating in front of the illusory Percival inside his mind, but he was suddenly interrupted by the voice of Adrian IronHeart.
"So, what were you two looking to do here?" He asked in a welcoming voice as he sat on the other side of a circular wooden table.
Azmond, Calista, Boundless, and Emu had already been invited inside the large mansion, as they sat on the other side of a table that separated them from the BranchMaster and Elara.
Calista was on Azmond's shoulders, while Emu took his head, and Boundless claimed ownership over his right side.
And it was under this battle formation that Azmond smiled kindly at Adrian and said, "We have come here to request that you let us live here while we enroll in the Royal Academy of AquaRing."
"!?" Adrian was a little shocked at hearing this as he raised an eyebrow before asking, "You know that you must be under 100 years old to be eligible to enroll in the Academy, don't you?"
All it took was one look at their Unity Form Synthesis Realm Auras to know that neither of them could possibly be young enough to be able to make it into the Royal Academy of AquaRing.
However, his speculations were blown out of the ballpark with the words that followed, as Azmond said, "I won the Centennial Clash and was able to acquire a spot as a Special Exams Teacher, while this little angel," Azmond began with his hand laying down a few pats on Calista's head as he continued, "Will be turning 15 years old this year."
"Winning the Centennial Clash!? 15-year-old Unity Form Synthesis Realm Expert!? You surely jest, Young Azmond!" Adrian practically fell off his seat upon hearing this news.
And he wasn't the only one, as Elara was right behind him in the level of disbelief oozing from her expression.
"No matter if it makes any sense or not, I have come here to ask you if it's okay if we stay here for the next indefinite period of time?" Azmond spoke with a smile shining through his mask.
"... Yeah, we stay… Eat your sushi…" Calista mumbled, her mouth drooling a bit as she looked at the appetizer plates.
Azmond saw the troubled look on her face as he waved his hand and brought all the appetizers toward his little glutton through levitation.
"...Mhmm… Luv you, mate…" Calista murmured before munching away at all the food, her fluffy tail swinging all over the place.
|I want some too, Azmond!| Boundless chimed in, her body violently rubbing up against Azmond's arm.
FWIP!
Azmond made even more food appear, as Boundless was able to munch away as well.
