The Rise of the Black Plain

Chapter 2850 Supreme Leader Minos Stuart

Chapter 2850  Supreme Leader Minos Stuart

Simultaneously with Juma's card, the two Hell Lifelings who had separated from the group a few moments ago arrived in front of the Stuart Family headquarters, where Generals were standing guard outside.

"Who are you?" One of the Generals asked, frowning firmly as he came across this group of strange experts. n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

"We're here on orders from Commander Minos Stuart," said one of the two, looking narrow-eyed at the aliens surrounding that estate, keeping the entire perimeter secure.

"I'm afraid that's not possible, Your Excellencies. We are under orders from the Council of Elders. No one other than those previously authorized may enter the estate behind us," said one of these men, a Supreme of level 116.

"Tsk! Where we come from, mere weaklings don't have such courage," said the second Hell Lifeling, taking two steps forward, frightening the Generals around Minos' family estate. "Clear the way, Generals. I'm afraid we're going to have to run over you."

The group of Generals felt uncomfortable, some wanting to react and moving their hands to weapons around their bodies. But those in front of them were high level Supremes.

"If you insist, Your Excellencies, we will not stand in your way. But I'm afraid the Council won't take kindly to that," said the General at the head of the shift.

The first Hell Lifeling to speak laughed at the general's words. "So be it. Let them come and complain to us."

They moved on without further trouble, entering the estate and almost immediately coming across the Stuart Family there.

Sensing the lineage of Minos, Abby, Gloria, and Ruth in the various people inside the estate, the two Hell Lifelings greeted everyone as they introduced themselves as envoys of the family's leader.

Kendrick and his sisters smiled as they finally came face to face with the loyal warriors sent by Abby and Minos, finally in a position where they would no longer have to fear day after day.

It was very unlikely that Navey would cross the line against them. After all, Minos was already a mid-level Supreme and with his strength, he should be able to handle Navey with some ease. But even so, the family members didn't trust their leader's influence 100%. Minos was far away, and they didn't know about the things on Navey's mind and others of the Council Elders feeling threatened by the existence of the Hell Lifelings.

Now with the Hell Lifelings there, however, they could count on real, close support from them to deal with opponents in Oqia, whether they were from inside or outside the guild.

After the initial introduction of the Hell Lifelings and Minos' family members to these newcomers, the two level 124 Supremes told them about some of Minos' plans for the future of his house.

"So our father is in search of the 13th stage," Lily murmured after hearing the brief explanation from the two natives of Uzira.

"When should they return?" Kendrick asked.

"No way to say. But it shouldn't be long. They know about the challenges ahead in Uzira and must join our forces before the major battles take place."

"There's no chance of them entering the Upper Realm before then? My father has a history and I wouldn't doubt it if the next time we see them he has already completed his journey to the Upper Realm," Hollie said, questioning something that everyone who had known Minos the longest had in mind.

"It's not impossible, although it's unlikely, miss," said one of the two Hell Lifelings. "Reaching level 125 won't be easy, even for our leader. Getting to our level, on the other hand, might not be so difficult."

Minos' family members took these words to mean that Minos would be as strong as a Celestial the next time they had the chance to see him. And after that, it would only be a matter of time before he succeeded-everyone there believed it.

"Anyway, we can talk more about their situation later and answer all your questions, gentlemen. But now we must go to the Council of Elders and put an end to this situation involving them at the moment."

No one there questioned when they saw the two Peak Supremes directing them out of house arrest. On the way out of the estate, Oswald asked, "What's Minos' plan?"

"None. We're following First Elder Juma's recommendation. The family leader just told us to protect the family and do what's best for the family in the long run." One of them answered, surprising several of them.

"And what was Juma's plan? The old man was a member of the Council, after all." Lily worried.

At this point, they had already left the area of their estate that they were under house arrest, with the Generals who had been surrounding the estate earlier accompanying them in silence.

"Minos is to become Supreme Leader of the guild in Jalai's place, and Kendrick Stuart is to become the guild's spokesman and regent in Commander Minos' absence," said one of them, to the further surprise of the group.

"The Elder recommended that?" Grisdi, Kendrick's wife, asked, not understanding how a Council Elder would make such a choice to favor the Stuart Family side.

But some of their more experienced guild members imagined that First Elder Juma was opting for something that would benefit the entire guild and avoid power struggles between the Council and the guild's post in Uzira.

'What a visionary fellow. He's willing to remove the guild's current leader and put Kendrick in charge just to avoid something that will weaken the force.' Oswald thought to himself, liking this figure he had yet to meet.

With the group silent after such a revelation, they entered the Council of Elders building, where Juma and the rest of his group had already entered the Elders' meeting hall, where the group of 10 individuals were finishing deliberating Juma's proposal.

Navey saw Kendrick's group entering and secretly clenched his fists, suffering yet another defeat for the people of Minos. Even so, he wouldn't risk it as long as he was surrounded by rivals stronger than him.

As he stood up to say the result, the strongest of the Elders there looked at Kendrick and said, "Kendrick Stuart, from now on you will be the regent of the guild in the name of Supreme Leader Minos Stuart. Lead wisely and take us closer to the Upper Realm."

All the Elders stood up, giving Kendrick a round of applause as he felt the sudden change brought about by the Hell Lifelings.
