Chapter 285 Cultivators Paradise - Part 3
Chapter 285 Cultivator“s Paradise - Part 3
Nolan gave a knowing a smile as if he found some amazing secret about Danny.
"Did you not defeat Butler Francis? Anyway, when you threw the dagger to hit that stupid disciple of my Sect, I saw your skin changing to Bronze color slightly. It’s the sign that you have achieved the Bronze Body, which is marvelous but also unbelievable if I look at your age. Also, you might ask why am I so sure about that, it’s becuase the Sect Master of my Braveheart Sect is also a Body cultivator who has achieved the Silver Body!" Nolan said with pride when he mentioned about the achievement of his Sect Master.
It was also the reason why the Snow Cauldron Sect did not like her. If she continued to grow, her battle strength would be far superior to the conventional cultivators in the whole Elemental Master Realm.
"Oh! That’s quite a brilliant feat." Danny knew how hard it was to advance in Body cultivation. Unlike him, other body cultivators would have to make their bodies go through tormenting experiences to achieve any progress.
"Yes, I have achieved the Bronze Body but how can you be sure that I could defeat Butler Francis. He is after all a Late-Stage Elemental Gathering Realm expert."
"I’m not sure, you can say I’m guessing that part but even the point of you having Bronze Body is worth all my efforts and the price my Sect would be willing to pay to recruit you. If you fear that joining the Sect would cause problems or any hindrance in your normal work pertaining to the secular society then I can assure you that won’t be a problem at all. You will have full freedom in managing your time the way you like it. I can guarantee that with my life. The only time you might have to participate is when there is an important event like the tournament between Sects of the Belmont Subcontinent or when the Braveheart Sect is facing life and death situations."
Nolan wasn’t really asking for much, any normal disciple will not be given this much freedom. Danny would be almost like the Guest Elder’s that most of the Sects have when they can’t make the experts join them who additionally have another big identity in the secular world like the Kings, Princes, or territorial Lords. They can’t give all their time to the Sect, it was more like a cooperative relationship between them.
Count Nathan was not eligible for that kind of position. Butler Francis could have joined any Sect except big Sects as Guest Eldersas he passed the minimum requirement for that position.
Nolan was disappointed when Danny shook his head in denial. He had already made the greatest concession in his abilities or maybe he had gone a little bit overboard but that’s fine since he was sure Kyra’s mother wouldn’t be angry at him for recruiting Danny at such a high price if he was worth it.
"Do you have a Master? Is that why you don’t want to join our sect?" Nolan suddenly thought of a matter he overlooked before. If Danny is not affiliated with any Sect, organization, or big clan then he at least has to have a Teacher who taught him. No one can cultivate on their own and achieve so much at the young age of Danny alone and without anyone providing the necessary resources.
Danny just smiled. It’s best to let Nolan or everybody else think he has a powerful Master behind him. That would at least provide him a cover for his abnormal strength.
"Mister Nolan, I indeed have a Master but he won’t care if join a Sect, or run a Kingdom. He isn’t the problem, it’s just that everything you are offering is genuinely not something worth for me to go through all the trouble... But I’m interested in the opportunity that only the Sects can provide, the one that Miss Kyra was mentioning before about the Mainland. I have heard about it to be the Paradise for Cultivators but I never found why there is no mention on how to reach that big Continent." Danny was saying the truth, even Master Clayton was ignorant in that matter. Only Master Clayton’s father, the king of Novaria Kingdom, and his big brother knew something about it.
"I know it is to the west of the Belmont Subcontinent and also know that there is a vast ocean between us that makes it almost impossible to travel the Mainland on any ship. The reason for it is the weather problem and also the enormous Oceanic Demon Beast that makes it difficult for any normal or enchanted ships to safely travel from the Belmont continent to the Mainland or vice a versa. How are the Sects able to still trade with the Mainland when they are so far away.
Maybe there was a Teleportation Array between the two masses of the land but then their subcontinent may not be ruled by the native sects, instead, it would be occupied by the powerful forces of the mainland.
There must be some other way that the Sects were using to connect with the other side.
Even if Nolan does not answer this question, Alex would find a way in the future by himself if really wanted to visit the mainland.
As for joining their Sect now would not be a problem to Danny after hearing that he would be free to allocate his time and does not need to listen to anyone other than the Sect Master and only need to provide his assistance upon critical conflicts or important competition between sects.
Joining a Sect would provide a good cover to the identity of Danny other than people misunderstanding that he has a hidden expert as a Master.
Nolan hesitated, without being sure if Danny would join their Sect after telling him about that secret, it would be counterproductive for him.
Seeing his hesitation Danny finally spoke, "I will join the Braveheart Sect if you tell me what opportunity that only the Sects can provide if anyone wants to go to the mainland."
