Chapter 336: 279, Lazy Dog Bomb
Chapter 336: Chapter 279, Lazy Dog Bomb
Wu Heng’s eyebrows quirked up.
He examined the belt once again.
Endurance is the ability to resist fatigue and maintain performance while doing physical or mental work.
This could play a certain role in both combat and study.
But, to place it on a belt, one had to wonder which aspect of work it was meant to sustain.
Having looked over all three items,
Wu Heng stored them in his Space Ring.
Overall, the haul from this endeavor was substantial.
Not to mention anything else, just the gold and silver coins in the cabin and the Space Ring amounted to a significant fortune.
Once on dry land, that alone could support a lavish lifestyle.
Even the nobles in the cities likely couldn’t produce such a large sum of cash.
Besides the gold and silver coins, what remained were merit and the rewards for the ships.
As for the ships, he had taken one for himself in secret, and another one of the two pirate ships would likely fall to his share as well.
He yawned and lay back on the sofa.
Andre Willow knelt by his side, gently massaging his shoulders, “Master must be tired.”
“Not really.”
With enhanced constitution, staying up all night didn’t bother him.
“Master still needs to take care of himself and not get overtired,” Andre Willow murmured, hugging her head to his chest and looking up.
Wu Heng raised his head to look at the fair-skinned little fox.
Raising both hands, he cupped her cheeks and pulled her closer to himself.
Andre Willow’s cheeks reddened, her eyes closing instinctively as she extended her pink tongue into his mouth.
The two were lost in each other.
They were startled into separating by footsteps passing by the door.
The fox girl’s tail moved rapidly as she lay on his chest and whispered softly, “It’s busy here, I’ll serve you well tonight.”
Wu Heng smiled, cupped her cheek, and kissed her again.
“You said it, tonight you can’t lose to Mini.”
“Understood, Master.”
The afternoon at the association was uneventful.
Wu Heng gave Andre Willow a couple of instructions and then left the association directly.
Accompanied by two skeleton attendants, he found a secluded spot.
Donning the Train Captain’s Hat, the train whistle sounded, and the Phantom Train appeared out of nowhere.
Wu Heng boarded the train with the two skeleton attendants.
On the itinerary, he wrote down ‘Cock-Tail Island.’
The next second, the train vanished.
…
It was only a matter of minutes.
He had barely taken his seat when the train reached Cock-Tail Island.
Wu Heng stood up, stepped off the train with the skeletons, and set foot on Cock-Tail Island once more.
The place was now deserted, with the sea breeze howling.
Wu Heng released ‘Glenda’ and after giving a couple of instructions, Glenda flew towards the sea.
Soon, the pirate ship that had left the previous evening emerged from the horizon, appearing in their sight.
It approached the port slowly.
Wu Heng boarded the ship, where the skeleton attendant ‘Shark Teeth’ was still standing in the control room, and the ship was empty.
This ship was the flagship of the Bloody Hand Pirate Group.
No one from the association asked about it, and it seemed that Xi Ligui and the others hadn’t noticed this ship either.
Now it seemed likely that the ship was his.
Wu Heng stood at the bow, pondering what to do with the ship.
Whether to use it for cargo transport or to form his own trading fleet.
After all, the household goods scavenged from the Zombie World still had no outlet for sale.
But the ship couldn’t dock just yet.
Bringing it back to Gold and Silver Island now would tell everyone that he had kept a ship for himself last night.
Even if he had contributed the most, it might still lead to some negative reactions.
He disembarked once more.
Directing the skeletons, he went to the site where they had buried bodies the previous day and exhumed them all.
[Corpse Battlefield] was cast, the unconverted corpses shed their flesh, and all stood up as skeletons.
Wu Heng ordered, “From now on, you’ll be stationed on this ship.”
The skeletons all boarded the pirate ship in unison.
Wu Heng continued to speak to ‘Shark Teeth,’ “Normally, just anchor the ship here. If other fleets approach, avoid them for now. I’ll come back to pick you up in a few days.”
Shark Teeth boarded the pirate ship again.
After the ship affairs were settled, Wu Heng put back on his Train Captain’s Hat and the train appeared, returning to Gold and Silver Island.
…
Back at the living quarters.
Mini and Andre Willow were chatting in the living room.
There was the sound of cooking coming from the kitchen.
Wu Heng popped his head in to take a look and saw ‘Chef Number One’ tied in an apron, busily preparing dinner.
On seeing Wu Heng return, Mini leaped up excitedly and threw herself into a big hug.
Wu Heng patted her bottom and said, “You start seeking affection the moment I’m back. Aren’t you afraid Wei’er will laugh at you?”
“Master, I missed you so much.” Mini buried herself in his embrace.
“It’s been just one day.”
“I still missed you.”
Wu Heng held her and sat down on the sofa in the living room.
Andre Willow said with a smile, “I heard you were coming back. Mini almost went to the association to find you.”
“Yes, I did!” Mini nodded energetically.
“Mini is such a good girl!”
Wu Heng said softly.
Still sitting in his lap, Mini said in a low voice, “Master, I bought some flower seeds and planted them in the courtyard. It won’t be long before the garden grows.”
“Mm, well done,” Wu Heng said with a smile of approval.
Soon, dinner was ready.
The three of them sat together to eat.
After dinner, Wu Heng took out the spoils of war he had scavenged from the pirate ship.
He left them for the two women so that they could decorate the place when they had time.
…
Dusk fell.
The three of them emerged from the bathing tub.
Wu Heng, carrying their smooth, supple bodies clinging to him, headed to the bedroom.
He placed the two women on the bed.
Underneath the light, he admired their beautiful bodies and curves.
Mini was smiling gently, while Andre Willow’s cheeks were slightly red, her fluffy fox tail coiled in front, covering some important parts.
Standing in front of the bed, Wu Heng gently caressed their smooth bellies.
They were soft to the touch.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
“Master, come here,” Mini said softly, grabbing his hand.
Wu Heng nodded and lay down with the two women on the bed.
…
The next day, in the morning.
Andre Willow went to the association.
Wu Heng quickly tidied up and went straight to Zombie World.
He stepped out of his living quarters.
Qiangzi approached from a distance.
He said, “Boss, I have a new plan for the Flying Dragon’s throwing issue, and this time it’s definitely reliable.”
“What’s the plan?” Wu Heng was curious.
“Have you heard of the Lazy Dog Bomb?” Qiangzi asked.
Wu Heng shook his head.
Qiangzi explained, “I spoke to some people from Flame God Shelter when they came over, asking them how to efficiently attack zombies from above in a way that’s easy to produce, and they mentioned the Lazy Dog Bomb.”
He pointed at the draft schematics and said, “They said it’s a weapon developed during World War II, solid-core without the need for explosive filler. Dropped from a height, it can penetrate 60 millimeters of steel plate. As long as you carry enough, it can cover a sufficient area and kill the enemy.”
Wu Heng followed his hand and looked at the designs on the draft.
The design was very similar to bullets, long and pointed with the only difference being a spiral tail fin at the back.
In other words, this bullet wasn’t for exploding and killing enemies, but for being thrown from high up to crush zombies to death.
This concept wasn’t hard to grasp.
Even dropping a rock from a great height could kill a person; it all depended on how many you could carry.
And with the industrial capabilities of the auto repair shop, producing solid bullets shouldn’t be a problem.
Not to mention there was also a Skeleton Blacksmith.
“Let’s make some and try, see how they work?” Wu Heng suggested.
“Right!” Qiangzi nodded and agreed.
…
After Qiangzi left.
Wu Heng stood by the door and waited a while before Li Yahong also came over.
She said, “Yesterday, Qi Hancai and her people came over. They want to join us.”
What do you think?
