Chapter 113: Comprehending the Primus Dao
Chapter 113: Comprehending the Primus Dao
Every part of Min Hong began to toughen up and harden as their density and sheer strength began to increase exponentially.
The dragon tattoos also began to strengthen just as much as his body was.
Then after about six hours every part of Min Hong's body had been restored and strengthened to twice its previous state without an increment in cultivation.
The unconscious Min Hong began to radiate an immense and heavy aura as his skin began to sheen like an oiled steel.
Then the dragon tattoos who were now very defined with their claws, scales and horns swam through his meridians creating an internal zooming sound everywhere they passed.
They moved through every inch of Min Hong's internal body like patrol guards looking for any part of it that was still left injured.
Then when they found no issues, they entered every single one of his meridians and sawm through the incoming streams of Chaos Qi in inspection.
Then after the final check and no issues found, they bellowed a deafening roar that echoed and reverberated through Min Hong's entire internal system slamming into Min Hong's consciousness, snapping him awake.
The momentum of the roar jolted Min Hong intensely as his eyes snapped open and he screamed to life, but instead of his voice, it was a dragon roar that echoed all through the formation.
The roar even reached his Mind Palace and the Realm of Creations.
It was as if every fibre of Min Hong's being had just roared to life in massive strength.
Little Wu heard the roar from the 'Bridge of Ancestors' and the corners of his lips rose into a confident smile as he shut his eyes and continued his cultivation.
But for the Min Qing trio, they were all jolted awake as they saw Min Hong who was breathing heavily like an angry dragon.
But what scared them the most, was the effect of the Chaos Qi streaming out of his nostrils.
This effect of exhaling puffs of gaseous Chaos Qi through his nostrils like a menacing dragon, coupled with his stronger mental and soul force which were currently unrestrained, plunged even Elder Yun who was in the Nascent Soul stage into a subservient mindset as they all bowed their heads slightly to avoid looking into Min Hong's eyes.
Apart from the effects of his appearance, the nature of the beast within which Min Hong's cultivation technique was based, was that of the strongest beast in existence.
As a result, not only was Elder Yun and Little Ming externally pressured, their bloodlines were also trembling in the presence of Min Hong.
Apparently, this was the aura ability native to the King Stage.
The image depicted in Min Hong's eyes also added to the fear factor; it was like to menacing dragon staring in anger at everyone directly from his soul through the windows of his eyes.
All of Min Hong was pulsing with dragon might and aura as his veins bulged and his meridians stretched to their limits in response to Min Hong's current state.
After about five minutes of utter dominating and suffocating pressure, Min Hong finally calmed himself as his aura receded.
Then he looked to the Min Qing trio who were currently looking at him with slight fear in their eyes as well as a face drenched in sweat, then he apologised;
"I'm really sorry, I lost control for a bit there" He added an awkward smile to his response.
"We are okay I guess you have stepped into the King stage, right?" Elder Yun asked.
"I just did a moment ago. It has been a really long time since my body last felt cultivation power, so I subconsciously rolled on with the feeling, I'm sorry." Min Hong responded.
"You are truly one talented monster. You actually went from no cultivation at all, to 1-Star King stage in just two days, while I have been struggling with adding a single layer of power to my cultivation. Life is truly not balanced."
Little Ming shook her head as she smiled lightly while Min Qing smirked as she added;
"I guess it was because Hong-ge's cultivation had previously surpassed the 1-Star King stage. It is like when we cultivate, we first build the barrel to contain our power once we step into a new stage, then as more Qi is poured into this barrel, it would eventually get full and another barrel will need to be built."
"It is the moment the next barrel is built that we step into the next cultivation stage. So, in Hong-ge's case, his barrels must have survived his Qi deviation one way or the other."
"Thus, unlike us, all he had to do was just refill every single one of the barrels. That is all I understand about the situation. Am I right?"
She warmly gazed and smiled sweetly at Min Hong as she inquired.
Min Hong looked towards the trio in wonder.
He was truly happy at their level of concern and more importantly their understanding about cultivation.
Then he smirked smugly as he answered;
"You are absolutely correct!"
Hearing this Min Qing smiled happily, but as she was about to continue cultivating, Min Hong added;
"But if that is correct, how would you explain my Peak Qi Creation stage cultivation?"
Min Qing: "!"
Little Ming: "!"
Elder Yun: "!"
Seeing their stumped and dumbstruck face made Min Hong smile gloatingly, but after a brief instant he could no longer help it again as he burst out in laughter, prompting Min Qing and Little Ming to playfully swarm over him as they began to playfight.
Elder Yun simply watched ass the trio playfought.
Then after about five minutes they separated with Min Hong looking like he had just finished battling ten billion rats.
Every part of him looked unkempt. Min Qing snorted in a playful anger while Little Ming released a lazy sigh and added;
"He is simply too monstrous. Yun Yun, what do you think?" She gazed at Elder Yun inquisitively.
"If we were to go by young mistress's ideology, that wouldn't explain the situation perfectly, because young master didn't just disperse his cultivation."
"He had to uproot it entirely, since Qi deviation also includes the foundation of ones' cultivation as well. So, it is just as Little Ming had said; young master is simply too monstrous." Elder Yun explained.
[Thoughts: Elder Yun] "But it is called 'Qi' deviation for a reason. But I don't know why he also lost his physical body cultivation. I guess only young master will ever know that."
"Alright Alright. Let us return to our cultivation. The fact that we have an advantage of a doubled timeframe, does not mean we should be relaxed. Instead, we should focus on maximizing this advantage to cultivate efficiently"
Min Hong ended the break as they all returned to cultivation.
Min Hong had just entered the King stage, but he had yet to create any dragon tattoo, so he shut his eyes as he resumed cultivation.
The rate at which he absorbed the ancient Qi had now doubled due to the increase in his physical bod strength.
As a result, the tenth dragon tattoo formed in less than an hour.
But there was something unique about this dragon tattoo
Though it looked very identical to the other nine, there was something very unique about its aura.
Apart from the fact that it refused to mingle with the other nine dragon tattoos, it also gave this extremely violent vibe, but also masked its violent nature with an uncaring or more like a nonchalant attitude, unlike the other nine who had a reserved nature and would sometimes feel as if they were never there.
Then a shocking realization hit Min Hong;
"So, this is how it is unh?" Min Hong beamed in joy as he continued to murmur to himself.
"The only difference between the merged version of the [Kingmaker Codex] and the [Jade Primal Dragon Body] and their individual techniques, lies in the uniqueness of the dragon tattoos formed."
"I have been wondering what the effects would be, I never knew it would be this epic."
"The [Jade Primal Dragon Body] technique tempers my body and permanently stores extra natural energy in the form of dragon tattoos, so more dragon equals more strength."
"But for the [Kingmaker Codex], it uses the energies from violent and untamed sources to temper my physical body to increase my physical body strength and compatibility with these energies."
"This way it increases my sensitivity of these energies increasing comprehension of the Dao the energy belongs to whilst simultaneously decreasing my vulnerability towards the energy."
"Thus, when these two techniques combine, the Dao energy with which I use in cultivating at any stage would become the very nature and properties of the dragon tattoos formed."
"This meant that for my Warrior stage cultivation, I formed nine Oblivion dragon tattoos. Then for my King stage cultivation, I will be forming 91 Chaos dragon tattoos."
The moment he thought of this, the [Kingmaker Codex] technique vanished from the technique shelf within his Mind Palace and reappeared at the spot between the Oblivion and Chaos Dao flowers.
When this happened, two unique energies surged out of the [Kingmaker Codex] and latched onto the stem of both the Oblivion and the Chaos Dao flower.
Then, it began to absorb a pitch-black aura from the Chaos flower and a non-existent aura from the Oblivion flower.
After about ten minutes, it finally stopped and a new cultivation technique was born as a replacement.
Min Hong witnessed all of these and smiled in acknowledgement of the variant nature of the [Kingmaker Codex], before proceeding to name the new cultivation technique;
"From today till the end of time, you shall be called the [Dragon Maker Codex]."
Min Hong named his second self-created technique, with the [Imperial Willow Fist] being the first.
The moment he said that the entire realm he was currently in trembled in response, as Primus aura descended and entered the new technique and etched the characters [Dragon Maker Codex] on it.
Then Min Hong instantly felt the repulsive nature of both the Chaos and Oblivion Dao including their respective Qi vanish.
"If the [Kingmaker Codex] could potentially reach the Diamond Tier level and the [Jade Primal Dragon Body] technique could be cultivated to the Awakening stage, the [Dragon Maker Codex] would probably allow me cultivate to the Primordial stage which is the equivalent of a Diamond Tier cultivation technique."
"Furthermore, since the material I am going to be using to cultivate this technique would be the strongest and most aggressive of every natural energy, I should potentially be able to cultivate it to the Chaos stage."
"I guess I will have to leave the process till the time comes. There's no point in worrying about these details for now"
After the technique was named and the natures of these two Daos finally became compatible and melded together seamlessly, the Chaos dragon tattoos then finally mingled with the nine Oblivion dragon tattoos. Then;
Boom!
The two Dao flowers trembled as the aura of Min Hong's Oblivion Dao broke through into the Low-grade Bronze Rank level.
Then, as if refusing to let the Chaos Dao lag behind, the Oblivion Dao powered up the Chaos Dao, as its aura also surged upwards crazily until it moved from the Low-grade Black Rank level all the way to the Low-grade Bronze Rank level.
Then one branch from both the Oblivion and Chaos flower stretched and tangled with each other until a new Dao fruit was born from the natural combination of both Daos.
But before Min Hong could even recover from the shock of what just happened, the fruit exploded as Min Hong's consciousness was plunged into a new dimension.
Within this dimension, Min Hong got the greatest shock of his life.
He actually saw a pool of fire and water mixed together which each other, then he saw a stream of water stretch from this pool of water and fire to an actual ice volcano that was belching searing flames.
But strangely the Ice, flame, and water did not seem to be at odds with one another.
Once the ice volcano belches fire, the ice around the volcano would melt into water which streamed into the pool, then the patches of flames that was belched into sky would then fall into the same pool.
After this process was complete, a strong gust of wind blew over and frosted the water that was leaking from the ice volcano, restoring it to its original structure.
But then, the wind would also blow past the mouth of the volcano prompting another eruption that melts the ice into water once again.
The process of the eruption is like when one forcefully blows air into a bottle containing powder, naturally the powder will erupt out of the bottle.
Everything followed this subtle and precise process, as it reoccurred over and over again.
Then Min Hong saw that the moment the wind entered the volcano and the volcano erupted flames, the wind also carried part of the flames as it kicked up a massive inferno.
This massive inferno moved across the icy ground of this dimension vaporizing it into steam that rose into the sky to form thick and heavy clouds.
Then Min Hong looked up and saw that the cloud was already very thick, and the moment the heat from the inferno touched it, the cloud shrunk releasing a thundering sound before a bolt of lightning flashed across the cloud.
Then when the thunder rumbled, it shook the cloud of water vapours causing water droplets to rain down on the other side of the ice volcano.
Min Hong's consciousness moved over to the other side of the volcano and saw a huge patch of earth that was swampy in the area underneath the cloud, but continued to grow drier the further it was away from the patch of cloud due to the further moving inferno.
At the far reach of the earth, all Min Hong could see was sand and several glittering substances within it.
Then a realization hit Min Hong once again;
"That should be Meta Wait! These are all Daos They are the Water, Fire, Wind, Ice, Inferno, Lightning, Earth and Metal Daos. I guess if I move further along, I will find the rest. But what is the essence of showing me all these things?"
He arrived at another bottleneck, as he began to rack his brains for an answer.
Min Hong sat there cross-legged, studying these scenes and trying to figure out how they were not only merging with each other but supporting one another in a single giant cycle.
This way, years passed within this dimension's mental timeline.
Min Hong had already spent about one month within the formation which amounted to half a month in the outside world.
The Min Qing trio had opened their eyes on several occasions but found out that Min Hong was still cultivating, so they returned to their own cultivation.
Back within the dimension, Min Hong eyes suddenly snapped open as he looked all over the area once again and began to mumble to himself;
"How comehow could it be that the Primus Dao is this powerful and tolerant at the same time? How come it was powerful enough to curb the Chaos Dao?" then he shut his eyes once again to continue meditate and comprehend.
After another month within the formation, Min Hong had now spent two months altogether trying to comprehend this elusive Dao.
But then his eyes snapped open once more and this time his forehead split open as the 'Eye of Infinite Dao' also snapped open all at once.
His left eye went golden and his right eye went green in colour as he laughed loudly and happily;
"Haha ha! So, I was thinking about this from the wrong aspect all along What a fantastic and mysterious Dao"
"Primus is the principle of duality that allows two different Daos develop a system of supporting one another, thus creating a connection and bond between them. Just like my technique 'Planetary Annihilation'."
Min Hong created the Saturn-like technique (See Resen-shuriken in Naruto [all rights to its Tm]).
But this time, instead of splitting into two equal halves of Oblivion and Chaos Qi, the two energies mixed with each other like the way the ocean moves around the continents on earth, from an outer space view.
The water part being the Oblivion Qi, and the lands the Chaos Qi.
Moreover, he had just skipped the process of creating two blackholes and then smashing them into each other.
After that, he approached the mouth of the ice volcano and waited for it to erupt once more, and when it did, Min Hong shoved his technique directly at the incoming gust of flames.
Then the oblivion part of the technique began to gobble up the incoming flames.
The moment the Oblivion part began to feed on these flames, the Primus Dao used the Qi of the Flame Dao within to increase the strength of the technique that three different Dao energies were now powering.
Min Hong's eyes went pitch black with a thought and the technique began to rotate at a breakneck speed.
