Chapter 85: Blood Elf Monarch - II

Chapter 85: Blood Elf Monarch - II

"I am not sure about the exact location my king but, it seems that remnants of his mana are still left within the capital." Glade responded buying more time. Even if he can't reach the exact 2-hour mark, Glade has other things up his sleeve.

"Fin where that infiltrator is." The king replied, extracting blood from Sylvia who is still yet to wake up.

"I'm going to make a temporary mixture while you're at it. I'm only giving you an hour so make it quick." Gallio continued, mixing the blood with various substances of different dark colors within his lab.

"Understood my king." Was Glade's short answer, still thinking as to why Zeke only needed two hours.

Meanwhile, Zeke is comfortably sleeping around the protection of his strongest [Conjures]. But, by no means is this human actually relaxing.

Within his head and, specifically during his sleep, Zeke's time is much slower. With this being the case, he can perform more even with the limited time that he has.

"Everyone wants a piece of me. It's irritating." Zeke told himself thinking that everything was supposed to work out well. Except for the fact that, somebody messed up with the teleportation, bringing them in the most undesirable situation possible.

"One the effects of that skill wears off, I'm going to kill every bastard that gets in the way of me clearing all the missions in this world" Zeke pressed on the [Skill Shop] and on the [Item Store]. Knowing that he can't level up anymore, he is stuck with the current [Skills] and [Items] present in both stores but, this doesn't mean that he can't do anything about them.

With his [Forging Skill] and [Skill Merging], Zeke can create combinations that would greatly benefit him. Even without the specific items present, Zeke can still create something worthwhile. Plus, with the [100 Skill Points] he earned from fighting the Chimeras, Zeke can buy new skills that would suit the upcoming fight.

"He has physical prowess probably. And on top of that, I should expect a bunch of elements coming from him." Zeke continued, upgrading [Counter].

[Skill Name: Counter]

[Skill Type: Passive]

[Grade: A]

[Information: The chances of countering any form of attack is raised to 45%. If the skill owner does not have means to perform a certain range and specification of attack for the counter, the it will be nullified and simply become a dodge instead of a counter.]

"That's not a bad number." Zeke told himself, thinking how high the payoff is for spending only [30 Skill Points].

Then, Zeke bought another skill in the shop which looked to be really useful for the upcoming fight. And, something which he thinks would prove reliable even in the fights that are yet to come.

[Skill Name: Sun Eater]

[Cost: 30 Skill Points]

[Skill Type: Active]

[Grade: Ungraded]

[Mana Cost: 100 per minute]

[Information: Upon activation, the caster can continually gather strength from the sun. By doing so, the caster also widens his or her own shadow. This can stretch out indefinitely and will turn into a circular area which darkens everything within its path by a little bit. The area is considered as a proper shadow.]

[Information: The collected energy also manifests in the weapons used as a unique spell without an element. This can be used as soon as the caster chooses to stop the activation. Depending on the weapon type, the garnered energy could either be a melee through a bladed weapon or a projectile through ranged weapons.]

He also upgraded both the [Peerless Bladesman] and [Master Bowman] skills respectively. Both of which reached the [C-> rank which made his melee and long range combat style [27.5%] more potent. Tehn, the remaining points were invested into the [Warrior's Toughness] skill which rose to [E] rank, allowing Zeke to take [15%] less damage from all sources.

"This should be balanced enough." Zeke thought to himself, remembering that aside from this, he still has 2 revives left from [Blood King's Curse] remaining. If both of these are used up along with Zeke maximizing the amount of damage he'll take, then [Blood Counter] will be his trump card when its time to end the fight.

Then Zeke went on to forging. He brought out [Sting of the Void] and [Death's Symphony Mk. II]. Together with these are some newfound materials he got from the fights earlier. He acquired a lot of sturdy metal and, by combining them together, he got an even denser material.

[Myzthal Ingot]

[Grade: A+]

[Information: This material cannot normally be used to craft weapons or armor. The dwarves gather a lot of these in their lands but, has been unsuccessful in trying to make use of it until this very day. It is said that, it can create the most durable weapon.]

"I can't use this for myself." Zeke told himself. He knows that, although he can create as stronger weapon, there is a problem with the leveling system that would come with the weapon. If the level on the weapon is greater than his own, then he will lose two handy weapons for the price of an overpowered one which can't even be held.

"Still. I can use you for my conjures." Zeke continued, thinking of crafting a new armor using the [Myzthal Ingot] as the primary material.

Then, the gamer used up all the bonus attribute points he has stacked up until that very moment. Zeke didn't know where to invest them and, since his [Luck] attribute is the only one which seem to be left out, he decided to pour it all on this. The attribute made it possible for Zeke to have a higher percentage of success in all status, skills, and activities that are chance based. Hence, even his [Counter] ability's percentage rose.

[Crafting Success!]

[Crafting Success!]

[Crafting Success!]

[Crafting Failed]

[Crafting Success!]

[Crafting Failed]

There are lesser failures due to the attribute raise. This made the use of the material even more efficient, even raising the stats of all that he crafted. He even made a new shield for Samael which is made of the same material.

"Well there it goes." Zeke said, not regretting that he had to use it all up. Having his strongest conjures gain an added defensive capability is the best option if he can't use the material for himself. Plus, Zeke thought how the material will just be wasted if not used early. Plus, with the weapon conjure, Zeke can also use the weapons of his summons without the level restriction.

"But I guess there won't be a problem if I combine the two of you right?" Zeke said as he viewed the weapons, thinking of a bayonet type structure for his weapon.

"Okay let's try it out then." There is only one chance for Zeke and he can't fail it. But he didn't worry because of the [Luck] attribute boost.

"Let's do this!"

[Commence Forging]

[Forging Success!]

[You acquired a new weapon!]

[Name: Death's Void]

[Weapon information: With the materials used in forging, the weapon has dual features. There is a hiding within the compartment of the gun. Thus, the weapon can both be melee and long range.]

[Weapon Information: The weapon has the durability of both materials used. Bullets have an added amount of piercing power while; the melee form can generate an aura depending on the element loaded into the bullets.]

"Yup, this works fine." Zeke told himself, knowing that no such weapon has ever been seen in Mythos before.

There isn't anything more that Zeke could do. He is as prepared as can be, with all the resources he currently has. Normal warriors would certainly feel nervous and, even terrified if they are to face someone like Gallio. But Zeke; he isn't like any ordinary warrior.

With the battle closing in, Zeke couldn't help but smile in excitement. He thought of what strategy he can use and, how he'll be able to go all out with the skills he upgraded. He also thought of the applications of [Sun Eater] and, how it'll be a good combination with his new weapon.

With all of this, Zeke finally opened his eyes. Returning him to the crater he created earlier on. Beside him are his conjures. He gave them all the items he crafted, raising their attributes in a large spike. Then, he finally called Glade to deliver his enemy.

"Are you all prepared now?" Glade began.

"Just bring him here already, I need some practice target." Zeke replied.

"Cheeky as always. I'll deliver him to the middle of that crater you made." Was Glade's response.

The king also finished with his preparations during this time. He successfully synthesized Sylvia's blood with his own and, although temporary, Glade can unleash his full streth without worryinga bout the vessel he is currently using.

With Glade finally contacting him, the king found himself to be smiling with excitement. Both he and Zeke have this same habit but, unlike Zeke who is thinking of strategies to use, Gallio wishes to do nothing more but overpower his opponent.

"Put on a good show for me. Otherwise I'll get bored." Gallio said, finally having the portal open up before.

Neither he nor Zeke knew the grand scheme that is about to unfold because of this battle. Neither of them knew that, this will start the cogwheels of a war that'll decide the fate of the whole universe.
