The Devil's Sweetheart

Without her intervention, Leena has turned into a villain in the eyes of the family members. All in all, she has become a scapegoat to Nick and Adney's happiness.

In the evening, dejectedly, Leena stepped into the car to go home. Atleast, she thought of trying her luck with Heather, but it bore no fruits. All the way to Greenwyn village, Devin tried to cheer up her mood, but it went into vain.

''Did I something wrong, Devin?'' She was tired of asking the same question with Devin, but in the situation right now, his reply was the only thing that will relieve her. In her frustration, she even forgot to check Devin's old mobile in the house which was her top priority.

''You did nothing, Sweetheart.'' Devin didnot go peevish of hearing the same question repeatedly. ''They are trying to prank you as you do with them on the other days.'' He is getting a hunch that it's either Nick or Adney's prank work but has no idea what exactly they did to Leena to make her mouth shut completely. If Devin had a toxic family, he would have settled the issue then and there before it reached any misunderstandings.The stoic face everyone put up today would soon wane away. So, he let the matter aside.

''But still, I am mood off.'' With heavy steps, Leena walked into the bedroom and collapsed on the bed. ''What do I do now?''

''Sleep for a while. I will make something for you.'' As Devin was about to leave, Leena held his hand.

''I am already full.''

''Ready for action then?'' Mounting on the bed, Devin sprawled next to Leena's side, and pulled her closer towards his body.

''Did you forget I got my period in the morning?'' Gently pushing his hand aside, Leena turned around to face Devin. She pressed her lips to control her laughter to see his murky expression.

''I will let you leave today but don't forget the deal we made.'' Devin strictly warned her. 

Without talking a word, Leena buried her face deep into Devin's chest in embarassment. ''Do you have to bring the topic everytime?'' She whispered in a low murmur.

''That is the only time I will get an upper hand.'' Devin chuckled, as he kissed her head lovingly. Everytime Leena's mood swings would start a day or two before her period. But this time, it started a week before. Along with her mood swings, a strong arousal rised in the days that lead up to her period this time. Her period caused a steady rise in her desire, and inturn Leena turned Devin into screwing machine. She got a little scread something bad might have happened with her health, but Devin assured her that it's a normal to feel a surge in desire before mensurating. He even googled up the sources, and patiently explianed the in's and out of her anxiousness.

''It's not my mistake. You are a big fat bully.'' At the peak of her orgasm, Devin made a deal with her, and that is to give her mouth everyday, and in her stark pleasure, Leena readily agreed. Even she wanted to follow the same path, and ask about his past love but then again she remembered Devin is a memory loss pateint.

''Well, you know that behaviour is only towards my sweetheart.'' He added. ''Rest for a while. I will make chamomile tea. It will lessen your cramps.'' He muttered before getting down from the bed.

''Okay.'' Her heart welled up with happiness at Devin's attentiveness in every small thing he pays attention.

With nothing to do, Leena tried to sleep, but it seems her brain was restless until she found the reason for getting a cold shoulder from the family. Grabbing her mobile, Leena opened the messenger to text with grandpa Arthur to try her luck, but all of a sudden, Leena shot out of the bed. ''When did I send a text to these people?'' Pulling her hair in frustration, at first Leena opened Grandpa Arthur's contact. For the second time, her jaw dropped to the floor seeing the weired GIF. ''Which idiot made this toothless GIF?'' Her head started spinning at the sight of all the GIF's which was sent from her mobile to Margaret, Francis, Fredrick...the list went on. ''No wonder they are mad at me.''

''My mobile was sitting next to Harley's bed for the entire time. What happened to it suddenly? Could it be?'' Ubruptly, Leena realized her phone was hacked. ''Who has the guts to play a prank on the great hacking diva of this world?'' She had a hunch that it is the work of those two fellows.

It was the worst humiliation Leena felt being a hacker. She sped to the study room and brought the laptop. Opening the weblink of the app in her mobile, she ran a suite, and within a minute, she found the IP address, and the location of the system from which the text was sent. As she suspected, it was the work of one of the two chimpanzees.

 What more shocked Leena was, the hacker was someone whom she is very familiar. ''Galifrazian! Why is he here?''

''Gallifrazian is Adney or Nick?'' Leena wondered in thoughts. She knows Nick has got a medicore skills in hacking but Adney...

''Who is Galifrazian?'' Devin curiosly asked, as he entered into the bedroom with a cup of chamomile tea.

'' I will tell you about it later. First answer my question'' Leena asked restlessly. ''Is Adney a tech geek?'' 

''You can say that. He loves coding.'' Settling next to Leena, Devin handed her the tea cup. ''Do you want to know an intersting fact about him?''

''What is it?'' She questioned taking a sip. The relaxing aroma was unwinding, making her nerves calm.

''He is a big fan of Elysian.'' Devin revealed, a smile curved on his lips witnessing the shocked expression on her face. Devin then explained the incident that happened during the time Regina destroyed the CCTV footage.

Now Leena got a clear picture about Adney. He is definitely Galifrazian. The dingle berry who annoys to the core is her brother-in-law

''I can't beleive the world is so small.'' Her brain was searching for ideas to play with that fellow for pranking her, not to mention that cartoon.

'Indeed.'' Devin added with a bitter smile. If only he has known Leena before, there wouldn't be Enger in her life.

''How long since you know him?'' 

''For the past seven years. That dingle berry annoyed me to the core until I added him as my friend.'' Leena talked about how she met Adney, and the other stuff, until sleep induced. Soon Devin also followed Leena into the slumber.

''Are you going to office already?'' Putting the orange juice aside, Leena walked towards Devin.

''I got an early meeting today.'' Not before Devin's hand reached to pick the tie, Leena grabbed it. ''Let me do it for you today.'' Even on tiptoes, Leena struggled to fix the tie around his neck. 

''I will help you.'' Hoarsely, Devin whispered holding her arms, and helped her in fixing the tie. Her lavander aroma was wafting deep into his bones breaking his walls. If not she was on her period, he would have long forgotten the meeting.

''It turned out perfect, Devin.'' Squealed Leena. ''I will be the one to fix your tie from tomorrow. How does it sound?''

''Well, I don't want you to strain your hands, Sweertheart.'' Devin pressed. If she has to do it everyday, he has to forget going to office.

''It's not a big deal_''

''End of the discussion. Let's leave.'' Devin grabbed her hand, pulling her out of the room.

While having breakfast, Devin received a text message from Harley asking if they are going to Norway by flight or by the private plane. Then Devin remebered, he hasn't yet informed Leena about his business trip. ''Leena, sweetheart, can you stay in your Francy's home for a week?''

''Why?''

''I am going to Norway for a business trip on sunday evening. I_I will have to stay in Oslo for a week.'' Devin's last word was barely a whisper for he knew sadness was skating over Leena.

He put aside the breakfast, and knelt infront of her. Clasping her hands, he kissed her knuckles whispering sweet things to calm her. "I promise to call everyday...scratch that..every hour.'' 

But his words didnot sooth her at all. For some reason, Leena's heart was unsettling today.

When he didnot receive a response, Devin pulled her into his embrace. ''I will make a video call everyday. Unlike Korea, the time difference is not big.'' He made sure his busines trip's doesn't extend maximum two days especially since the time Leena was traumatized after the Korea business trip. But his presence is direly needed in Norway to close the business deal. ''Turst in me. I will be very careful around women_''

''I trust in you, idiot.'' Leena squeezed his body tightly. ''Come back safe. I will be waiting for you.'' 

''I promise..'' Little did he know, his promise was meant to be broke this time.
