The Devil's Sweetheart

Since Leena didnot have to go to the office today, she slept soundly until the evening. Only when she heard the door opening sound, she stirred from her sleep, but her lazy body didnot permit her to get up. Devin already informed her that he would come home late, and there is only one shameless person who knows her house password except for Leena and Devin. ''Is she that eager to know about my honeymoon?'' Leena grumbled.

''Leena! How are you!'' As usual with her high pitch voice, Reese screamed, stomping into the room. 

''Even the lazy neighbors will brush their teeth and get dressed hearing your loud voice,'' Leena muttered, getting up from the bed.

"Woah. Your face is radiating like a brilliant twilight now,'' Ignoring Leena's remarks about her voice, Reese scanned Leena's body until it landed on her slender neck. Reese gasped, glancing at the purple bite marks, which are yet to fade away. ''Is my prince charming that great in bed?''

''Brother for you.'' Hitting her shoulder with a pillow, Leena stomped into a walk-in-closet to wear a dress that could cover that beast's bites.

''I will rather die than call him my brother.''' Reese screamed to annoy Leena.

''Get ready to die in my hands.'' Wearing a dress that at least covered fifty percent of his nips, Leena walked out and settled in the bed.

''Did you guys do it?'' Reese asked in excitement.

''Lost the count also.'' Leena winked at Reese. Her face turned scarlet red when she recalled their first time.

''Ah! Why I am so happy.'' Reese giggled, clapping her hands in excitement. ''How was it? Did you enjoy it?'' Except for reading novels and hearing from Jane about it, Reese has no hands-on experience in that matter. Now, Reese got another friend joined into the list, but she remained the same.

Leena pulled Reese's ear and whispered. ''You should seriously try experiencing it.''

''You know that I only like him, right?'' Reese pouted. She doesn't want to have one-night stands with escorts when someone has occupied her heart entirely.

''Ah! How can I forget your first love?'' Leena sighed, shaking her head. Brother and sister have set eyes on only one person as if there are no male species in this world. ''Ummm.. Reese, can I ask you a question?''

''What?''

''What if Andrew already likes someone close to you?'' Leena probed.

''Is that someone my brother?'' Reese asked in a whisper.

''You know it?'' Leena's head started spinning. Almost everybody seems to be aware of their love-hate relationship except for her dumb husband.

''I have seen them moving intimately once.' Reese occasionally goes to her brother's condo to meets him, but it was an excuse so that she gets to see Andrew since he lives by the next door. Once, she visited him unannounced, and her heart shattered on that day when she saw Andrew and her brother in a bed fighting with each other intimately. From then onwards, she stopped going to that place. ''What do I do, Leena?'' Reese slumped on the bed with a hopeless sigh.

''Even I caught them in the bed redhanded once. But I am getting a hunch that Andrew is not into men.'' 

''Is it?'' Reese's hopes raised again. ''But we are not sure.''

''To find out, he is into men, or women, we have to execute a mission,'' Like a detective, Leena voiced her opinions and picked the mobile from the bedside table.

''I don't understand?'' Reese keenly looked at Leena's mobile to see what crazy Leena is up to, and to her surprise, she started messaging a number. Although Leena saved the contact with a weird name, the number will be at the back of her mind. Always!

 [Mowgli: Are you free tomorrow at 7 in the evening?]

Not before Leena put her phone down, the screen blinked with an incoming notification. ''He is pretty fast,'' Leena muttered, opening the message.

[Jurassic: Not accessible. I got a client. Why do you ask?]

Leena quickly sent another message.

[Mowgli: I want to have dinner with my brother]

[Jurassic: If my Jurassic asks, I can even bring bananas from heaven. Text me the address. I will be there in time]

[Mowgli: You brought glory to our bananas, brother. I will call you tomorrow evening. Bye.]

While they were chatting, looking at the names they call each other, Reese scratched her forehead. Mowgli, Jurassic? What kind of weird nicknames they are calling each other.

Leena put down her phone and looked at Reese with a triumphant smile. ''He is coming tomorrow.''

''But what are you going to do?'' Reese still didnot understand Leena's plan.

Leena explained her secret plan to Reese on how she is going to accomplish the mission tomorrow.

''Do you think it will work out?'' Reese's face brimmed with happiness, hearing Leena's plan.

''Trust me. Leena will not fail in her missions.'' She winked.

''Thank you, Leena.'' Reese hugged her friend and talked with her for a while before going to her condo.

In the meantime, Leena prepared dinner for Devin. By the time he arrived home, Devin was exhausted to the core due to hefty work at the office, and right after dinner, he hit the bed. ''He looks like dead tired.'' Leena copied Devin's action, kissed his forehead like he always did, and slipped into the blankets. The moment she snuggled closer, his hand automatically wrapped around her waist despite he was in deep slumber already ''He is super cute while sleeping also.'' Leena played with his hair without disturbing his rest and sailed the sleep boat after her tiredness.

The following day Leena woke up, and to her surprise, Devin was not in bed. She checked for a note, and as expected, there was one at the bedside table. [I got urgent work at the office, sweetheart. Don't skip your breakfast. I have made all your favorites, along with the banana smoothie. Along with ingredients, I added my love to it]

''Hugs and kisses for my cutie pie.'' Leena kissed the note and shot out of bed to get fresh. Dressed, she strolled into the kitchen to savor the breakfast Devin made.

Twilight started, and Reese was pacing back and forth in Leena's office room, biting her nails and occasionally checking time. ''Leena, can you start already. He might have come.''

''For God's sake, he hasn't come yet! Can you stop bugging me, Reese? I am working.'' Leena yelled, getting back to work

But Reese's pestering didnot stop. Cursing at her friend, Leena got up and left for the hotel. As she walked towards the reserved, Leena spotted Andrew at the table.

"Andrew.'' Leena greeted him with a cheerful smile.

''After a long time.'' Andrew flashed a smile at her. ''How are you?''

''Crazy and getting crazier,'' Leena replied and settled in the chair.

'Right, normal is boring for you.'' He muttered, and both chatted for a while before the dinner was served. While eating, Leena looked around frantically, and at a corner, she found a woman sitting along with a man. Start of plan A: Test Andrew if he gets a reaction when he sees a woman.

Without further ado, Leena jumped into the action by kicking Andrew's leg under the table.

''Óww. Why did you_.''

Leena silently signaled him to look at the woman, her eyes pointing in a specific direction.

''Who is she?'' Andrew briefly gazed at the woman and turned his attention to the food again.

 ''No idea. But that woman looks sensuous,'' Leena was keenly observing Andrew's reactions not to miss any of his expression. ''Stop eating and look at her, Andrew. She is leaving now.''

Andrew turned his attention to the woman for a second and retreated his gaze onto the food. ''I saw her. Now what?''

''Did you look at her sexy back? Her day must be as lovely as her bigger butt. Can you handle it if it is big, brother? 

Andrew choked a mouthful of food, hearing Leena's blunt question. Did she really mean that? 

''Do you like them bigger or smaller?'' Leena questioned him again when she didnot receive any response from him. 

Andrew: '' '' 

''Stop talking, and eat your food, idiot.'' Andrew shoved a broccoli piece into Leena's mouth when he knew only food could control her. What's wrong with her today? Did she hit the wine bottle before coming here?

Done with plan A without satisfactory results, Leena shifted to plan B, and that is to see if Andrew is interested in men. Leena quickly looked around, and she found a scapegoat again. She kicked his feet under the table again and pointed her eyes towards a man sitting adjacent to them. ''Look at him, Andrew.''

''What is it this time?'' Andrew sighed and glanced at the fatty. He is not able to understand what's wrong with Leena today. Well, that is out of the question. Her behavior is never predictable at all.

''He is sexy, right?''

''What?'' How did that ugly fatty look sexy in her eyes. If Vincy had listened, his butt would be as black as a frying pan. As if he remembered something, Andrew cursed at himself for thinking about butts.

''Look at him, Andrew. His round butt is protruding even from the pressing seat. The man must have sat in sugar. That's the reason he must have got a sweet and juicy butt.'' Leena's eyes twinkled as she looked at Andrew's expressions. ''Which one do you like? Big and round or flat and square ones?''

Andrew threw the spoon on the plate furiously. He had enough with butts today. ''Why did you ask me to come here?'' 

''To have dinner with you,'' Leena replied innocently.

''Then why the hell are you talking about that butts? If you like that fatty's juicy butt, go and squeeze them. Why are you torturing me?'' Drew lost his temper and screamed at Leena without knowing the fatty man furiously looked at Andrew in his fury. 

Clenching his fists, Andrew apologized to the man and dragged Leena out of the hotel before that fatty comes to his head. ''I can't believe you have described that fatty's butt so poetically. Your husband would be thrilled to hear this. Let me call Vincy.''

Before Andrew could dial Devin's number, Leena snatched it in fear. ''I_I was joking, Andrew.'' If Devin comes to know about it, he will chop her into pieces. She was trying to test Andrew but didnot think the plan would backfire on her. ''Please don't tell him.''

Cooling Andrew's temper, Leena bid goodbye, making sure that he would not slip his tongue. Not before Leena stepped out of the elevator, Reese came rushing towards her. ''What happened? Is he_.''

''I need to make a deep analysis about him, Reese. Give me some time.'' With a sigh, Leena keyed in the password and walked into the home, leaving Reese in puzzles. She wished Andrew would not tell about the butt story to Devin. She would be a dead meet today if it reaches his ears.

 A box was lying on the bed as Leena entered the bedroom. All of a sudden, Leena remembered her mom asked to order books related to Cardio. To escape, Leena called Nick and went to meet her mom.

The moment Leena walked inside the house, she saw Margaret sitting on the floor with a big bowl of popcorn on her lap as she watched the Korean drama ''Except watching dramas, are you doing any other work, Meemaw?''

''Eating,'' Margaret replied without leaving her sight from the T.V.

''Yeah, you do that in time.'' Nodding her head, Leena looked around. ''Where is mom, and my Francy?''

''Your mom went to Francis's study room to check the books collections. As for your Francy, I didnot care to check on him.'' Margaret pulled Nick to the floor for a company.

''I will go and check on her.'' Leena stepped upstairs before casting an evil grin at Nick.

''Soon, I will turn insane,'' Nick muttered.

Leena held the box with one hand, and with the other, she pushed open the door of the study room. ''Mom, I brought the books you asked_.''

Her thoughts halted in the middle when she looked at the sight in front of her.. Her mouth parted like an open fish, watching the beautiful picture of a man and woman in each other arms.
