The long-range attacks of Ascenders relied on the flying ability of their Life Base.

Razor Fang Island prohibited flying, and neither Ascenders nor Life Bases could take to the air.

While Lin Shen could not fly, he could jump, and jumping wasn't within the prohibitions of Razor Fang Island. Coupled with the Stairway to Heaven ability, he could remain in the air for extended periods.

This meant that he could 'fly' on Razor Fang Island and launch long-range attacks, while Cosimo would be devoid of flight and long-range offensive abilities, left only to take hits passively.

With this realization, Lin Shen found that he might actually have some advantages.

However, such advantages were not enough to guarantee a decisive victory. After all, if Cosimo couldn't win, he could simply run, and once he left the range of Razor Fang Island, he would be able to fly again.

Lin Shen needed to kill him, not just gain the upper hand.

Since he was idle anyway, Lin Shen first sorted through the useful abilities he possessed.

Acupoint Sealing was his biggest trump card now; if his strength wasn't enough to kill Cosimo, he would have to rely on Acupoint Sealing when the time came.

Seven Steps of Conflict seemed useless at the moment, but Lin Shen had an idea that might make it incredibly useful.

If, in the end, Lin Shen still couldn't kill Cosimo, he planned to have Tian Xun shoot him.

Based on this principle, as long as Tian Xun shot at him with a Nirvana-Level Pet Gun and the Pet Capsule entered his Seven Steps range, his speed could soar to the level of Nirvana.

Using that Nirvana-Level speed to directly seal Cosimo's acupoints would be a sure win.

He immediately reverted Death Powder back to a capsule form to prevent any further mischief.
