Lin Shen didn't say much, as he hadn't really expected Tian Xun to actually let him leave.

Being able to leave Paradise Island was already a very advantageous situation for Lin Shen.

At least when they used the watch to teleport away, it would be difficult for Tian Xun to discover immediately.

Tian Xun didn't say anything more either, and after breakfast, had someone take Lin Shen and Lin Miao to Ocean Heaven Island.

Compared to Paradise Island, Ocean Heaven Island is naturally much smaller, but still sufficiently large. The island even boasts an inland sea, and Tian Xun's vacation home is built right on the sandy beach.

The sea here doesn't have tidal movements. When there's no wind, the water acts like a mirror, reflecting the sky as if heaven and earth merged into one.

It has to be said that Tian Xun knows how to enjoy life; the environment here is simply too beautiful.

Because the inland sea occupies most of the island, there's barely any land area left, just a ring of mountains at the edges. Therefore, the resources of Base Variant Creatures on Ocean Heaven Island are all in the sea.

Lin Miao and Lin Shen are both landlubbers, completely unfamiliar with water, so going underwater to hunt Base Variant Creatures would clearly be challenging.

Although Lin Shen possesses the Floating On Water Skill, it only allows him to walk on water and doesn't enable him to dive for turtles.

Lin Miao is quite pleased with the environment; the seaside villas are built like little princess castles, perfectly in line with her aesthetic tastes.

Lin Shen isn't very particular about where he stays. Once settled in, he plans to go hunt Base Variant Creatures.

Of course, hunting Base Variant Creatures isn't the main goal; Lin Shen mainly wants to see just how powerful the Twenty-Eight Fists really are.

He initially didn't plan to go into the sea, but then he thought that if Tian Xun was secretly spying on him, being underwater would avoid her surveillance.

Although Lin Shen can't swim, he can hold his breath; he could simply walk on the seabed, no need to swim.

Just as Lin Shen was preparing to go underwater, he suddenly saw a flying vehicle descend, stopping on the sand above.

Lin Shen thought it was Tian Xun, but the vehicle wasn't one of Tian Xun's, and the person who came out wasn't Tian Xun either.

"Human?" Lin Shen was somewhat surprised. The one who came out of the flying vehicle was indeed a genuine human.

However, he was dressed in glowing armor, with golden long hair and turquoise eyes, very much resembling the Celestial Clan Leader except for the lack of wings.

"Are you Lin Shen?" The newcomer sized up Lin Shen with a rather condescending air.

"And who might you be?" Lin Shen wasn't too fond of his attitude.

"Cosimo of the Metichi Family." The man said his name proudly, as though it symbolized honor itself.

Lin Shen had to admit that he had indeed heard of this family.

The Metichi Family is also a super-family, but they had already shifted their focus into the universe. Not many of them remained on their home planet, but they were still a very powerful force there.

"Do you want something from me?" Lin Shen was puzzled. How could Cosimo know that he was on Giant Ring Star?

"Are you the Lin Shen who offended the Wan Family?" Cosimo asked again.

"What on earth do you want?" Lin Shen frowned.

"It seems it really is you. I heard that a human named Lin Shen joined Paradise Island and thought it was just a coincidence of names, but it turns out to be you." Cosimo looked at Lin Shen and said, "Since you're here, follow me from now on."

"Why should I follow you?" Lin Shen was already very annoyed. This person was simply making no sense.

"You probably don't realize your current situation," said Cosimo indifferently. "Escaping from your home planet only offers temporary refuge. If Hai Mansion's proposal fails to pass in the Supreme Hall, you might have to wander the universe for a lifetime.

Currently, Hai Mansion has secured less than half of the required votes, and with the influence of my Metichi Family, we can decide the voting rights of at least twenty seats."

"So what?" Lin Shen looked at Cosimo and said.

"Of course, if you wish to wander the universe, it's your choice, but my Metichi Family has some influence on those planets you can visit. For instance, here on Giant Ring Star, if I want you to live, you can live well. If I want you dead, you won't see tomorrow's light," Cosimo always spoke in a condescending tone.

"After saying so much, what exactly do you want me to do?" Lin Shen had already guessed why Cosimo had come to him and was not angry, speaking slowly and deliberately.

"Was it Lord Tian Xun who personally brought you to join Paradise Island?" Cosimo seemed to think that Lin Shen was already his subordinate, asking commandingly.

"Yes," Lin Shen nodded in reply.

"Did you retrieve the Archangel's Sword from Hell Island?" Cosimo obviously knew something.

"Correct," Lin Shen admitted directly.

"Very good, from now on you will follow me," said Cosimo, preparing to head towards the seaside villa.

"What are you going to do?" Lin Shen reached out to stop Cosimo.

"The environment on Ocean Heaven Island is quite nice; I will reside here from now on," Cosimo said as if it were a given.

"Did I invite you to stay here?" Lin Shen's expression darkened.

"It seems the lesson from the Wan Family hasn't made you see reality clearly. Then, let me teach you again," said Cosimo and suddenly moved, appearing in front of Lin Shen like a phantom, a large hand reaching for Lin Shen's head.

The person who had previously taken the place of Lord Tian Xun to retrieve the Archangel's Sword from Hell Island was from the Metichi Family, but unfortunately, they failed.

Cosimo thought that Tian Xun had given Ocean Heaven Island to Lin Shen simply because he had retrieved the Archangel's Sword.

Such a person wouldn't matter to Tian Xun. Moreover, since it was an internal affair of their own human kind, Tian Xun, given his temperament, would be even less likely to intervene.

Besides, the Metichi Family had long been affiliated with the Celestial Race, and in recent years, their relationship with Tian Xun had become quite good; otherwise, Cosimo would not have come to a newly developed planet like Giant Ring Star.

The Metichi Family had expended so much manpower and resources to help Tian Xun develop Giant Ring Star. The resources of Giant Ring Star itself were secondary; the main goal was to maintain a relationship with Tian Xun.

The Metichi Family even hoped that Cosimo could attain Tian Xun's favor, taking their cooperative relationship to the next level.

In the eyes of the Metichi Family, Tian Xun, a once-in-a-century talent, was bound to achieve great things within the Celestial Race in the future, and investing in her would surely yield immense returns.

However, the Celestial Race is different from the Di Man Tribe, as the Celestials rarely intermarry with other races, so the difficulty is much greater.

Fortunately, Tian Xun is somewhat different from the typical members of the Celestial Race. Perhaps because she is not a pureblood Celestial but a very rare mixed-blood Celestial, she does not have the same aversion to interbreeding with other races as pure Celestials do.

She even has a rebellious streak and deliberately associates with other races, which is why the Metichi Family entertains such thoughts.

Tian Xun is exceptionally talented, but because of her mixed heritage, she has always been marginalized and suppressed within her clan. Otherwise, it would not have been the Metichi Family's turn to cooperate with her.
