The term "breeding pig" was something Lin Shen was quite familiar with, as many people at Dark Bird Base used to curse him with it behind his back.

"What exactly do you mean?" Lin Shen asked with a frown.

"To put it crudely, I am just the Wan Family's breeding pig, responsible for passing on the family lineage," said Wan Nianbei.

Lin Shen had already guessed something when he first heard the term "breeding pig," so he didn't feel surprised.

"If the Wan Family wants you to continue the lineage, then they should have you marry and have children as soon as possible. Why would they oppose your relationship with my elder sister? Don't tell me there is something wrong with my sister," Lin Shen's face chilled.

But for humans to be born as Base Variant Creatures was unheard of.

"The Wan Family wants you to marry a woman from another race?" Lin Shen asked, staring at him blankly.

Lin Shen's eyes widened as he looked at Wan Nianbei, finally understanding why the Wan Family was vehemently opposed to his relationship with his elder sister.

Lin Shen had heard of the Di Man Tribe, which was ranked similarly to the Celestial Race among the well-known clans in the universe.

If someone from the royal family of Di Man was to marry into the Wan Family, it would certainly be an upward move for the Wan Family. Lin Shen even doubted how the royal family of Di Man could lower themselves to Wan Nianbei's level.

In the eyes of the universe, the human race was insignificant. How could the royal family of Di Man ever be willing to intermarry with humans? It sounded incredibly implausible.

"If I do not marry the princess of the Di Man Tribe, my relatives on the Alien World may face the danger of extinction. I don't want to hurt Lin Miao, but I can't watch so many of my clan perish because of me..." Wan Nianbei spoke calmly when he said this.

"Then why did you even come to see my sister? You shouldn't have appeared again," Lin Shen said, somewhat exasperated.

"I know. Your sister once had someone tell me that she already had someone in her heart, and I wasn't planning to see her again. But only recently did I learn that she has been alone all this time," Wan Nianbei looked at Lin Shen, "I want you to tell her my current situation, to let her stop waiting for me.

We are not destined to be together in this lifetime; she should find someone to accompany her."

"You think too highly of yourself. Whether my sister finds someone else is her own business. It had nothing to do with you before and it will have nothing to do with you in the future," Lin Shen said, turning to leave.

There was nothing wrong with Wan Nianbei, but there wasn't much left to say between him and the Lin Family.

"I know I was wrong, so before I go to the Di Man Tribe, I want to meet Lin Miao to settle our past issues and hope that we can both start over," Wan Nianbei said to Lin Shen's retreating figure.

"My older sister does not want to see you, which means she no longer wishes to be associated with you. Let's leave the past behind. There's no point in discussing it further," Lin Shen said before leaving the garden.

After Lin Shen left, the skinny shopowner came over, patted Wan Nianbei on the shoulder, and said, "Old Wan, if it really comes to it, I'll tie Lin Miao up and bring her here. You should see each other at least once before you leave."

"No need, Little Five is right. If she doesn't want to see me, it probably means she has let go... let go is good... that's for the best..." Wan Nianbei seemed genuinely relieved.

"To hell with that, I am not your servant," Hei snapped angrily.

Having left the shop, Lin Shen continued to wander around the sandfield, pondering whether or not to tell his older sister about Wan Nianbei's situation.

Wan Nianbei was powerless to fight against destiny, and it seemed anything else said was already superfluous.

After some thought, Lin Shen eventually decided to tell his older sister and let her make her own decision.

After passing through the weapons section, he entered the area selling Base Mutation Eggs. This area's variety of Base Mutation Eggs was even more diverse, many of which came from marine Base Variant Creatures.

However, mutations were rare and nearly impossible to find. Mutant creatures on the mother planet were still too scarce, nowhere near comparable to those on Realm King Planet.

While walking, Lin Shen suddenly saw a stall where among a pile of Base Mutation Eggs, one was covered with a thick mosaic.

"Finally!" Lin Shen was elated and hurriedly approached the stall.

The stall was piled with many Base Mutation Eggs. After asking casually, the stall owner said these eggs were hunted from the sea, all produced by marine Base Variant Creatures.

Lin Shen picked up the one with the Fire Seed and asked the owner, who said it was produced by a jellyfish-like Base Variant Creature from the sea, at the Steel Level, for five hundred.

Lin Shen, not in the mood to bargain, paid the money directly, bought the Base Mutation Egg, and tucked it into his backpack before continuing to browse.

After a while, he found another Base Mutation Egg covered with a mosaic.

This time, however, someone was already negotiating the price with the owner, and Lin Shen quickly made his way over.

Having finally found another, he was willing to pay a high price if necessary to secure it.
