Chapter 65: Chapter 65 Angsana Auction House 1
Blaze Regret then learned that the Blaze family had established a partnership with Atlas Shop. Not only were their businesses interconnected, but even their staff had started to mingle.
"It seems a lot has happened these past few days," Blaze Regret mused.
He smiled and nodded at the maid before heading towards the reception hall, with Red running alongside him.
"Such a young alchemist…"
Watching Blaze Regret's retreating figure, the green clad maid's cheeks flushed with a hint of red. She then quickly followed him, startled by her own reaction.
"Ha ha, thanks to Blaze Regret, my Atlas Shop's only alchemist has been poached by the Blaze family."
As soon as he reached the main gate, a hearty laugh echoed around him.
Blaze Regret shook his head and smiled, knowing instantly that the voice belonged to none other than Mark.
"Father, Manager Mark!"
Quickly stepping into the hall, Blaze Regret bowed respectfully to the two seated men. He then glanced at Park Lily and exclaimed in surprise, "A second grade alchemist?"
"Ha ha, I have you to thank for that," Park Lily said with a smile and a nod.
Ever since becoming a second grade alchemist, he had received benefits beyond the wildest dreams of a first grade alchemist. The Angsana Pavillion behind him not only provided him with three second grade pill recipes but also a large quantity of precious medicinal herbs.
Interestingly, neither Blaze Ash nor Park Lily inquired about the sudden emergence of Blaze Regret as an alchemist. It seemed they both tacitly agreed not to pry into his affairs.
Everyone has their own secrets, even they do.
"Manager Mark, you must be here for the Angsana Pavilion Festival, right?" Blaze Regret said with a smile as he sat down beside Blaze Ash, following his cue.
"Indeed," Mark's expression suddenly turned serious. "But that's not the only reason."
Hearing this, Blaze Regret looked at Blaze Ash in surprise.
"We just received news that Angsana Auction House will be auctioning a batch of items in three days, one of which might be related to the Angsana Pavilion Festival," Blaze Ash said in a deep voice.
Angsana Auction House is a collective name for all the auction houses under Angsana Pavillion. Every city has a Angsana Auction House, where rare and hard to find items are put up for auction. These can range from precious spiritual herbs to rare spiritual beasts and all sorts of peculiar things.
"Have the participants been decided?" Blaze Regret nodded and then turned his dark eyes towards Mark.
"Sky Diana and Sky Nasrul from the Lu family, and the last one is you," Mark replied.
"Three people, huh?" Blaze Regret pondered for a moment before slowly nodding.
There are three factions participating in the Angsana Pavilion Festival, meaning nine people will take part in this event.
"But Sky Diana and Sky Nasrul from the Sky family are both ninth tier spiritual novice," Blaze Regret said, tapping his head and sighing lightly.
"You managed to defeat Kartis Man, a ninth tier spiritual novice, when you were only a seventh tier spiritual novice. Now that you've advanced to the eighth tier, I believe Atlas Shop's chances of winning this time are quite high," Mark said with a smile.
"I'm just afraid that someone won't play by the rules," Blaze Ash said grimly.
Hearing this, Mark nodded in agreement. If the other two shops brought in outsiders, the advantage held by Atlas Shop could be instantly shattered.
"Forget it, we'll take it one step at a time. For now, let's focus on securing the items from Angsana Auction House," a glint of determination flashed in Blaze Ash's eyes.
After Mark took his leave, the Blaze family immediately became busy again.
"Luckily, we have the support of Park Lily and Mark. Otherwise, the Blaze family, having just suffered a huge setback, would only be able to watch helplessly at the auction," Blaze Ash remarked as he and Blaze Regret stood in front of Angsana Auction House a few hours later.
In Veloria City, when it comes to wealth, no family can compare to Angsana Auction House. Even the three major shops fall short by a significant margin. This place is the foundation of Angsana Pavillion in the city!
As soon as Blaze Ash and his group appeared, a maid quickly came to greet them. These maids were well acquainted with the city's famous figures.
Led by the maid, the Blaze family members took one of the front seats.
"Well, well, isn't this Blaze Ash? I didn't expect your family to still be around," a harsh voice suddenly came from the right just as they sat down.
Blaze Regret frowned and looked over, seeing a middle aged man tilting his head and cleaning his ear with a playful smile on his face.
This person was none other than Snow Fazlin, the head of the Snow family!
"Whether we exist or not, what does it have to do with you?" Blaze Peter sneered. "With two alchemists in the Blaze family, I wonder how many more years your Snow family can stay smug."
A slight tremor ran through his palm, and Snow Fazlin's face turned grim instantly. His slightly lowered eyes brimmed with murderous intent.
Ever since he learned that Blaze Regret was an alchemist, he hadn't had a good night's sleep.
"Perhaps it won't be long before the Blaze family's two alchemists become just one," said the young man in white beside Snow Fazlin, staring at Blaze Regret with a smile that was far from comforting.
"That man is Snow Amar, Snow Feng's older brother," Blaze Peter began introducing the key figures to Blaze Regret. "Over there is Met Intan, the head of the Met family, and beside him are the three Met brothers. Each one is said to be a ninth level spiritual novice."
Blaze Regret nodded, recognizing some of the younger generation in Veloria City.
"Sitting at the northernmost area is Sky Rodzi from the Sky family. The girl talking to him is Sky Diana. Her beauty is far more renowned than her strength," Blaze Peter chuckled.
"Such conduct unbecoming of his age!" Blaze Regret rolled his eyes.
"The auction is about to start," Blaze Ash, who had been silent, suddenly spoke up. Instantly, the surrounding chatter grew louder in anticipation.
