Strict Wife Of The '70s Manages The Household

Chapter 411

Chapter 411

Liu Xiuyun thought about it for two more days before she finally made up her mind to abort the child.

She no longer wanted to get married. Hence, if she were to take care of the child herself, it would be a fatal blow to the newborn’s life and it would also be unfair to her family since others could easily point their fingers and snark their remarks at them.

On that train of thought, she would much rather take the risk of danger in exchange of resolving the matter for once and for all.

Liu Guifa didn’t want his daughter to abort the child. The doctor had once mentioned that with her weak health, it would be best not to since there were risks that it might pose to her life. He claimed that no matter what, the child would still be his grandchild, so it was fine even if the kid didn’t have a father. Liu Xiuyun’s two brothers also expressed that the child could live at home with them as they would care for the newborn as fathers.

The family expressed their utmost tolerance to her situation.

Liu Xiuyun didn’t want to trouble them and she didn’t want her child to be pointed at by others either. Since she was already heartless, she might as well break off her ties with it completely.

Taking advantage of the fact that she was merely pregnant recently, only about two months along, Xiuyun was accompanied by her mother a few days ago to the County Hospital. She also brought along her 2nd sister-in-law’s medical book for the procedure.

Lin Lan also utilised her relation to Yang Panpan and asked him to help arrange a cover-up so that no one would catch wind of the matter.

Yang Panpan has a good relationship with Doctor Zhuang, so it wasn’t an issue.

During the surgery, Xiuyan bled out twice, but with the doctor’s efforts, Yang Han’s help in organising the blood transfusions in time and her own strong desire to survive, she pulled through.

After staying in the hospital for four days, she was discharged home to recuperate. Currently, she is fine, despite her body remaining in a weak state.

“Although she is too weak to do any heavy labour, we are more than happy with the outcome. Taking a loss and gaining a memory(2) is good too,” Xiuyun’s mother was very satisfied.

Lin Lan said with a smile, “Her body will heal with time, so it’s not really a problem. Please let Xiuyun know that she doesn’t have to hide and confine herself at home. She didn’t do anything wrong, so she has no reason to cower away from others. Instead, encourage her to boldly go out and frequent my home or Huaihua’s place if she wants to.”

Xiuyun’s mother responded affirmatively several times. The more she saw Lin Lan, the more she liked her. After that, she told Lin Lan to continue with her own matters as she was about to leave.

Lin Lan hurriedly returned the eggs to her, “Sister-in-law, Xiuyun is in need of some nutrition. You saved all these up with great difficulty, so it would be best if you made these for her.”

“I still have more at home— the chickens I raise are rather diligent.”

“Sister-in-law, my chickens also lay eggs and there are enough for us to eat.”

If this continued, it would prolong to the continuous push-and-pull situation that Lin Lan was not that much of a fan of. Hence, she said, “Sister-in-law, in this case, either I will give you some money or you will wait for Xiuyun to recover before giving me the eggs. Is that okay?”
