Spotted By Grindelwald And Went To Hogwarts

Chapter 454: “Meeting The Pride”

Chapter 454: “Meeting The Pride”

Facing the dark figure’s questioning, Dumbledore’s expression remained unchanged. His eyes were hidden under the lens.

“There are chaotic fluctuations in magic, and it’s a magic power that I have never seen before.” Dumbledore stretched out his hand, “I think I have said it from the beginning, the basis of cooperation is mutual trust.”

The figure was silent for a while and remained firm, “Dumbledore, you need to understand that we are just cooperating. You get what you want, and we get what we want.”

“But there seems to be some conflict between what you want and what I want.”

“Things are not what you guessed. You should know that the unbreakable vow not only binds you but also binds that one.”

“It doesn’t make people happy to hear this. I think I have already proved my sincerity, and there are some things that cannot be faked.”

The figure paused, and said in a muffled voice, “I understand, I will go back and ask that person for more instructions, and promise to give you a satisfactory answer. Now, can you tell me what happened here?”

Dumbledore spread his hands, “I happened to pass by and felt something wrong. When I came here, this place had already become like this. To create this kind of thing and a strange magic power, is it your people?”

The figure nodded slowly, “It is indeed our person’s doing, and he is responsible for some tasks. Did you do this?”

Facing the question, Dumbledore smiled, “What are you talking about? If I did it, how would I deal with the unbreakable vow? Why am I still sending you messages? If I wanted to hide everything, would you even need to be here?”

Dumbledore’s rhetorical question left them speechless. He turned his head and looked at his companion a few times. Since cooperating with Dumbledore, he has indeed never done anything that is not good for the Returners. Many Returners were wary of him, but they did not find his flaws.

Moreover, they have done a lot of things without telling Dumbledore, and the cooperation between the two parties is not known by all of them. As long as it is certain that Dumbledore will not join forces with Grindelwald, the status quo is acceptable.

What’s more, they have always been the dominant side in terms of cooperation.

The figure nodded to Dumbledore, “I see. Don’t get me wrong, we didn’t mean to doubt you, but we do need to figure out some situations.”

Dumbledore took out his wand, “I hope our cooperation can proceed smoothly, and I also hope that you can keep your promise.”

“Of course. We don’t have to fight against the greatest wizard in the world. It would be great if we could cooperate. Believe it or not, our purpose is essentially the same as yours. We want the world to be a better place.”

Dumbledore’s glasses flickered, and he gave the other one last deep look, nodded silently, and turned. He disappeared in place.

The figure and his companions looked at each other, and one of them said, “Normally speaking, if Dumbledore did it, there is really no need for him to call us over.”

Another added, “But why he happened to be passing by? That doesn’t make sense.”

“I’m not sure. Dumbledore’s strength may be beyond our imagination. It’s too easy for him to move quickly.”

“But if Dumbledore hadn’t done it, where would Thomas have gone? Thomas is not who he was at the beginning. We never see someone who could take Thomas away quietly.”

Listening to the conversation of his companions, the figure finally said, “Dumbledore wouldn’t betray us. Even if he wanted to, he couldn’t do it. He has become the opposite of Grindelwald. As for Thomas, I’m not sure. After all, there are quite a few ancient wizards living in seclusion.”

“But how did that unknown wizard suddenly come into contact with them?”

“If we check it, we are probably going to know about it. Send someone to check. The unknown person will definitely leave something here and follow the clues.”

“Understood.”

—-

When the doorbell rang, Mr. Parsons raised his head and hurriedly walked towards the door. Originally, the family should have gone to bed long ago, but because of the arrival of Mr. Wallup, the family couldn’t fall asleep. They were discussing in the living room how their son would go to the magic school in the future.

The ringing of the bell in the middle of the night made Mr. Parsons immediately think about them. Opening the door, what puzzled him was that an old man in a robe was standing in front of them.

“Who are you?”

The old man showed an apologetic expression, “Sorry, this might be weird, but I promised Sean and I would handle the follow-up matter.”

“Sean? That Mr. Wallup? You know each other?” Mr. Parsons felt his eyes blur and shook his head.

There was no one in front of the door.

“Honey, didn’t you say that you forgot an umbrella at the door? Did you find it?”

Mr. Parsons looked around suspiciously, then picked up the long umbrella that was leaning against the door at some point.

“It was kind of dark, and I couldn’t find—”

He walked into the room and looked at his son, “Doug, don’t read that letter. It’s time to go to bed.”

The boy fiddled with a letter back and forth on the sofa and said, “Maybe it’s true…”

“It’s a pity that this school called Durmstrang is not coming, and no one will come to the door. How about I’m buying you another set of your favorite toy?”

“But…”

The family was talking when the doorbell rang suddenly.

“In the middle of the night, why is there still someone coming to the door?”

Mr. Parsons opened the door and saw a middle-aged man he did not recognize, “What’s your business…”

Mr. Parsons stopped talking, was hit by a ray of light, and looked at the person in front of him absently.

“Did any strange people come to your door in the past few days?”

Mr. Parsons nodded.

The middle-aged man’s eyes lit up, “Who?”

“You. It’s already eleven o’clock in the evening. I’ve never seen you.”

The man choked. He glanced at Mr. Parsons sullenly and asked, “Tell me everything you’ve seen in the past two days.”

“Yes, I…”

After a long time, Mr. Parsons closed the door and returned to the house. He shook his head and regained his clarity.

“Honey, didn’t you say that you forgot the umbrella at the door? Why did it take so long?”

Mr. Parsons looked at the umbrella in his hand with some confusion and shrugged, “It was dark, and I found it after searching for a while. Hey, Doug, it’s time for you to go to bed now.”

Doug was fiddling with his letters again, “Are they coming through?”

“If they come, then I will probably send you to this school called Durmstrang, okay?”

“Are you sure?!”

“Of course, but now you should go to bed.”

The lights in the house gradually went out. In the shadows not far away, several black figures were talking to the middle-aged man who had just appeared at the door of Mr. Parsons’ house.

“That Parsons is taken care of?”

The middle-aged man shook his head, “Although his son has received an admission letter from Durmstrang, no wizard has visited recently. I checked the records from Durmstrang’s admissions officer, and no one came here.”

“There are no strange people found in the surrounding households. There are some fluctuations of magic power left in the Lloyd couple’s house. It seems to be left by an unknown person.”

A shadow made an annoyed voice, “Why did it happen to be bumped into by that person?”

Another one said, “There are too many wizards who live in seclusion in the Muggle world. This is not the first time someone has touched magic.”

“But that person is too strong. The most important thing is that Thomas was taken away!”

“Don’t worry, they can’t find anything out. We have more important things to do.”

“Fine…”

The air twisted, and then the night returned to calm.

In Hogwarts Castle, Sean was teleported back by the Portkey and came to the Room of Requirement. The Lloyds were placed on the cushions.

“Strange…” Sean looked at his hands suspiciously.

“Dumbledore knows this? He asked me to take them away mainly because he was troubled by the oath. On the other hand, how do I even solve this problem?”

“I’ve felt this magic power before. Would dealing with the Sins later in life benefit me?”

“However, the nature of magic is too strange. Dumbledore doesn’t seem to fully understand it either.”

“Or perhaps…”

Sean felt his own power that was about to return to normal, and an idea suddenly popped up. The magic power he came into contact with changed his magic power as well.

What if he went to meet the Sin in person? Taking advantage of his current power has not been fully restored to its original state.

Sean hesitated for a moment, then took out the Unstable Coin.

Unstable Coin (Purple): Divination Item, toss a coin after saying something. Heads represent affirmation. Tails represent refutation. 2 remaining uses. (Note: The side of the coin will be affected by the weather, mood, and luck.)

Sean used this coin three times; only one time did he get an affirmation result, and the others were refutations.

Thinking of this, Sean said, “Isn’t it going to bring me any disadvantages if I go in and talk to it now?”

Affirmation means if Sean takes advantage of this time to meet, nothing bad will happen. Sean acted immediately. He pulled out a full-length mirror and stared at the vortex in his eyes.

When he came back to his senses again, he was already standing on the familiar empty Island. Sean looked down, and he still kept his clothing, including the wand and ring. Of course, it was impossible for Dave and others to appear in this world.

Sean turned his head and looked around. Compared with what he came to last time, the Island has not changed much, and the villa belonging to the Wallup family is also safe.

Sean didn’t rush to look for it. He first went back to the villa that represented his soul and checked it carefully. After making sure that there was nothing wrong, he walked towards the edge of the Island.

He can now be sure that the soul world where he and Pride coexist is part of the Misty Land. Walking to the edge, Sean tried to give himself a long-sighted spell to look towards the farthest distance, but he could only see red magma around.

According to the legend, the Misty Land has been destroyed. But Sean doesn’t know whether these magmas are the status quo of the Misty Land or the changes brought about by the existence of Pride in his soul world.

He stretched out his head and looked at the magma, “Hey, come out and meet me.”

The magma bubbles didn’t sway, and the giant Sean didn’t give any reaction.

“I know you are inside my body; you can’t pretend to do anything when I talk to you.” Sean muttered something and then stretched out his wand.

The Bombardment Spell exploded in the magma, stirring up a rain of magma.

“Hey, I am your host, after all, come out and talk to me.”

The magma moved. A huge head slowly emerged from the magma, hot red liquid dripping from between his brows; the head went up and looked at Sean at the edge of the Island.

Looking at the huge Sean, who was exactly like him, Sean glanced at his mouth, “About time you come out. Do you feel it?”

The giant Sean stared at Sean quietly. His negative emotions and violent aura made the air even hotter.

“Don’t just look at it. I know you have your own mind and can also talk; why don’t you talk to me?”

A moment later, a deafening sound resounded throughout the world, “Where do you get this power?”
