Rise of The Anti God

Chapter 646 The Gale Emperor's Confusion

Chapter 646 The Gale Emperor's Confusion

Tomorrow was going to be a very auspicious day for the Forsaken since their young leader and their princess Reva would be getting married to the Savior of the Forsaken, Damien.

Everyone felt that this was a match made in heaven and that their princess deserved to be married to such a spectacular and powerful man after everything she had gone through.

Of course, since Damien was not only marrying their princess but also the princesses from the other two empires, the Forsaken people were busy making preparations for the wedding from the moment Damien announced it.

By involving themselves, they also were distracted from the sadness and pain in their hearts caused by Yohr's betrayal.

And because of Damien, they were all free from the Cursed Seals they had been carrying around. They had no idea their cultivation hadn't disappeared but was only dormant.

It was a phenomenon they couldn't comprehend, but when Damien explained the truth as to why it was like that, the Forsaken people couldn't feel more glad about Yohr's death.

They didn't expect a divine being to be so cruel and evil. It was as if they were not even treated as living beings.

But because of this, lots of cultivators were now present in the Forsaken, making all of them feel confident as a whole. At least they had some fighting chance now, even though they weren't powerful enough to directly clash against the Xeton Empire.

However, the air of despair that had plagued them a month ago was almost non-existent now. But just because they were making preparations for the wedding didn't mean that the Forsaken were not on their guards.

They were constantly sending spies out to survey the situation outside and see if any developments were happening, especially in the Xeton Empire.

But strangely enough, other than the expected increase in soldiers around the continent, the Xeton Empire was in a calm state, especially with the emperor behind closed doors. Nobody had any idea what he was doing.

As for the Gale Empire, Damien couldn't be happier about the situation over there since, through Tristen, he learned that the Gale Emperor had his hands quite full with trying to figure out why his ministers and Elders seemed to have a change in their attitude.

Damien had laughed with his women, saying how dumb the Dog Emperor was to not figure out that the culprit behind the change in their attitudes was none other than his own son, Kale, who had been so 'loyal' to him.

On the day he returned, Damien was surprised that the Dog Emperor was able to quickly save himself and even turn things to his advantage by apologizing and offering generous compensation for the bereaved families.

He realized that the Dog Emperor had more brains than he thought and probably how he was still the emperor of his empire.

But Damien wasn't worried since he still had an ace up his sleeve. And that was Kale Gale, who had the recording of his father sleeping with his daughter-in-law and Kale's wife, Farah.

Damien had purposefully chosen not to expose this since he wanted to finish off the Gale Emperor nice and slow. Plus, he had to give Kale the satisfaction as well since he was the one most motivated to take down his father.

It was actually impressive that he had been controlling his anger and resentment by being a 'loyal' and 'dutiful' son to his father while going around his back to pull the ministers and elders to his side by showing them the recording even if it was humiliating for him.

But he wasn't the one who was in the wrong here, and thus he felt it was worth it as long as he could gain the support of these ministers and Elders.

Damien couldn't wait to see the Gale Emperor's face when he realized that his silly tactics would end up being a waste and that he would be held up in contempt. His best option would be to silently go down or struggle to lose more face and end up in a worse state.

In fact, he sent Tristen to the Gale Empire to witness it himself so that he could later see his memories.

And right now, the Gale Emperor was in the throne hall with a serious look on his face upon seeing a number of his most important ministers and Elders standing in front of him in an orderly fashion, their faces solemn while some had complicated looks.

They weren't even looking at his face, though some of the oldest ones among them were staring at him without an ounce of respect in their eyes which was present before.

These old ones were older than himself and were none other than the Supreme Elders of his imperial family. They held most power after him, and if they were looking at him like this, the Gale Emperor realized that some serious shit was definitely going on.

All these changes were too sudden, and thus the Gale Emperor didn't really get the chance to investigate what was going on.

Still, he didn't want to appear intimidated just because all of them together requested an audience with him and asked in a firm regal tone, "What is this? You all requested an audience from me but staying silent? Are you all trying to waste my time?"

Kale was standing beside him as his eyes glinted with a cold light before stepping forward with a smile, "Father, please be at ease. Let me talk to them on your behalf while you can oversee this meeting."

The Gale Emperor felt that his son was becoming more and more mature and nodded with a grunt as he laid back on his throne. He felt as if Kale was becoming more capable, though the Gale Emperor was missing his son's wife, Farah. He felt that she could have been a good fuck during these times though the fact that she betrayed him was still not something that can be forgiven.

Kale looked at the people assembled before as he asked with a smile, "Respected ministers and Elders of the imperial family, may I ask the reason you all have assembled here for?"
