Chapter 97: The Few Against The Many [3]

Today is my luckiest day I finally have a way to leave the Guild, I was scouted by a Side character who's incredibly powerful even though he differs from the story. He must've been influenced by a fellow reader since the words he spoke about was a famous line in one of the most epic and heartbreaking moments in The World Of Trials. The worst part is that I've grown to be more resistant to seeing corpses and torn-out limbs, I think im becoming evil

"Intruders!!!" That were the player's last words before he got impaled by one of the tentacles that came from Lillith's body

[System: You've absorbed the Mana inside the player, you can now use your Mana to increase the capabilities of your Chimeric transformation]

"Increase capabilities to the max," Her body was suddenly wrapped in a Dark shell that covered most of her body, the monster's parts were slowly becoming more and more unstable. Her tentacles along with her body have undergone a change she was faster, stronger, and the most terrifying thing of all is her lack of empathy for her victims. She couldn't care less, the player that was untouchable by her tentacles blindly charged against her only to realize that he sealed his fate

"Kekekeke, another meal for me to devour," She broke the spear stabbed into her abdomen and use her tentacles as a means to hold her down before she tears the armor with her sharp claws. Clawing at her bones and tearing down her organs while the tentacles would develop a mouth that would consume anything that contains Mana

Her slaughter continues after she killed one person she quickly made her way through the mountains of corpses lying around searching every corner for her next victim. Even with her uncontrollable rampage, she wouldn't dare turn to the side of her allies, she has a heightened smell that differentiates her allies' scent from the foreign odors that she stumbles upon

Frozen from what he had witnessed Zeke was about to be but from his back, by his previous allies, which were killed on the spot when Airis severed her limbs, for thinking that it was right to attack someone that's frozen in shock. After he saw the trail of blood being sucked into her body she slowly walked toward Zeke with her Killing intent pointing at a nearby location, it was a pair of survivors that were badly injured in the aftermath. Frozen in place she waved her sword from above before she plunge it into the player's chest, giving him a slow and painful death while she stared at his fleeting vision with a smile on her face

[System: The blood of your fallen opponent has been offered to the Crimson field]

[If we take a few commissions about a hit on a certain somebody then we will complete the Crimson field in a week. I'm a little concerned about this idiot who recently joined this team of yours. Completely different from the rest of his subjects it makes me wonder why he recruited this weakling]

"He's a little bit different from the rest but If it's Morris, his intuition wouldn't fail him to see a person's talent. Hey, brat how about you start pulling that trigger and aim for their bodies, a fine gun is as useless as a dead body if it's to be wielded by a hesitant ranger. Are you afraid to pull the trigger? It's not hard if you think about it, as long as you think it's worth the shot then why not shoot no?" They were suddenly ambushed from above by a pair of Archers that rained upon a dozen arrows that we're deflected with ease when her sword disassemble turning into a whip that increases her range. Blocking every shot fired she swings her sword upward to reach the Archers only to hear a few rounds of ammunition fired near her location that fills them with a hole targeting either their hearts or brain

[You've finally come to agree with this world, now that you've seen it for your own. Killing is not a crime but a cycle that continues to turn like a clock that never stops]

[Guild Member: Zeke Croft

Standing: Pushover

Race: Human, Outsider

Traits: Calm, Decisive, Patient

Class: Ranger

Weaponry: Pistol]

Due to his lower standing in terms of physical combat, he was labeled as garbage as the Guild leader doesn't see the use of Technological means as power, pushing the talent to the lowest of the low for what he imagined to become a high-ranking elite. He was treated as trash whilst no one would acknowledge his talent his aim and shots would dwindle as he continues to be beaten, losing his form. Becoming traumatized by his daily struggles, in the end, he was afraid of doing what he saw was right at the beginning, to take one's life, after his fateful encounter with Morris he showed him what he needs to see. Death of his members at every corner he looks yet he didn't feel any remorse only excitement and Airis's advice was the trigger for him to finally accept his predicament

[System: Huntress Of The Night is watching you]

Along with gaining back his passion, he heard a familiar voice in his head his Deity that didn't communicate with him after his fall come back to congratulate him for accepting his decision

'I can feel an Aura of a Deity? Did Morris predict that this would've happened,'

[You've made me wait for a long time, I thought you would've died in that area before I guess luck is a promising trait. I see that you've gotten back the passion that you once lost. I thought I would've used my connection with the Deity that granted his blessing to spare your life]

"Is that so?" Airis interrupted their reunion when she quickly dragged him to a wall once she senses a threat that was vastly approaching their location. A Wyvern that swings its claws, shattered everything in its way along with the arrival of their toughest adversary

"I have been waiting for your arrival, now face me for I am Siegfried 2nd in command and holding the title of number 1 in the Summoner class," Sieg commands his Wyvern to fly from their location while it swings its claws that was sharp enough to cut one of the hardest ore that's currently available. With its advantage as it hovers around the air, the two could only dodge its attack waiting for the opportune moment to strike, they ran away from its range after they were attacked the second time

[System: The player Velvet Airis has activated the skill Physical boost, granting an increase in her strength, Speed, and stamina]

"Hold on tight," Airis carried him on his hack whilst they were getting chased by their flying enemy that was catching up with their speed. Accompanied by attacks that were made by the Wyvern along with a few spells that were cast by Sieg. Airis dodged every single attack that came from their back with her superior agility that even the Wyvern couldn't match, yet everything was about to be decided once and for all. Sieg's Wyvern got closer for him to cast a powerful spell that not even Airis could escape unscathed. Yet they managed to fool him as his casting was interrupted when his Wyvern seems to have been attacked, the two of them weren't simply running and dodging his attacks the explosion that was caused by his spell, and their location was close to Lillith's location

[System: The player Lillith Rivera has activated the skill Tentacle spawn, the player has increased the range and damage by adding additional 60 Mana]

She combined all of her Tentacles to form an attack that pierce the Wyverns and left arm whilst she interrupted Sieg's spell from activating. She swings at the two of them while they were dangling from the Wyvern, her appearance was back to her usual form, along with a better grasp of her ability once she came to her sense. They began to fall once Sieg canceled his summons making them fall whilst he summons a giant Centipede that crawls its way down awaiting their arrival as it contracted its shell to reveal a dozen spikes that it shoots as some sort of projectile. Airis managed to block a few of them while the rest was used as their stepping stones, making their way back to the ground

[System: The player Zeke Croft has activated the skill Precision, the player will access to an optical ability that enhances his aim]

Out of bullets, he switches to his secondary weapon a huge and heavy crossbow that fires a bolt that Pierce through the Centipede's hard and durable shell. Before they open a Spell scroll that contains a circle spell, putting all of their remaining Mana they activated the Spell releasing a powerful surge of electricity that was able to bring their adversaries to the ground. Defeated he was Sieg got caught up in their final attack, thinking that he doesn't have any cards left to play they aim their sword at his head only for his last resort to activate

[System: The player Siegfried Dross has activated the skill Grand summon, the player has called upon all of the Magical Beast he made a pact]

"Kekekekeke, do you think that what it takes to bring me down? this is just the beginning of your end. Now I've shown you my cards it's time for us to end this little game of ours," Standing beside his corner lies the Wyvern and the Centipede that was healed due to his skill, accompanied by an Ape wielding a mallet, Two headed dog and a large Serpent. He stands again to face his intruders with everything that he remained hidden has finally arrived on the battlefield
