Refining the Mountains and Rivers

Chapter 1832 – Him

Chapter 1832 – Him

Qin Yu’s eyes flickered. The World Heart had been taken away. To be honest, he had expected this already and hence, he was not troubled. After all, even though his story appeared to be perfect, with how smart the nine Dao Masters were, they would not believe him easily and would want to confirm that everything he said was true. They might end up trusting him more from this.

“Little blue lamp!” Qin Yu yelled.

Very soon, his voice appeared in Qin Yu’s mind, “Don’t worry, refining the World Hearts is not burdensome to me.”

His voice was calm but Qin Yu picked up a low tone. He frowned slightly and asked, “What is it?”

The little blue lamp replied, “Qin Yu, you need to hurry. I feel a slight suppression. The other Blazing Sun Fragment owner has escaped the predicament that he was trapped in and he will arrive very soon. Before this, you need to resolve all your troubles to fight with the Blazing Sun.”

Qin Yu’s eyes narrowed and his expression grew stern, “I understand!” He clenched his fists under his robe.

The other Blazing Sun Fragment owner…Qin Yu once experienced the aura of this man. Even White Feifei, a Longevity Species, felt despair. His power and might exceeded any expectations and with Qin Yu’s current strength, there was no way that he could win.

Ignite his Incense Great Dao to improve his cultivation. Aside from that, use the Ninerealm Holy Land to devour the nine White Jade Capitals. That would be his leap to power. If Qin Yu could really do it, he might gain enough power to fight the other Blazing Sun Fragment owner!

Although these were two paths, they were now linked together. If things went smoothly, great…but if there were issues, before the other Blazing Sun Fragment owner descended, Qin Yu would be killed. What kind of destructive power could the nine enraged Dao Masters unleash? Qin Yu was not sure of that, but he did not want to know.

He sighed deeply and his expression grew hard. Yet, he remained calm. There was no point in overthinking and he would just do his best. He could not make mistakes in any step he took.

……

Deep in the galaxy, there was a temple that was supported on the shoulders of giants. It had been here since a million years ago and the giants were like ancient demons, each of them ten thousand feet tall. Even though they were long dead, their bodies did not rot and there was still a terrifying aura emanating from them.

They were the Ancient Clan. When the Ancient Clan was in its glory in the past, each of their clan members was incredibly powerful and they could destroy an entire world in two or three blows. However, these Ancient Clan members could not rest in peace even in death and they were crushed by the temple. Through their corpses, the might of the temple was displayed to all.

A light Sun Ring Projection appeared behind the temple. Although it was only a shadow, those who saw the projection felt their hearts shudder. It felt like everything in the world had to kneel in front of it and worship it while trembling in fear. There was much respect and honor to it.

This Sun Ring Projection appeared light but it showed the identity of the owner of this temple – a Blazing Sun ruler! In the entire world, there were only nine of them and the owner of this temple was the one with the highest status and was the most powerful.

A light sigh echoed through the hall before the man on the massive throne opened his eyes. There was no way to describe his eyes. It felt like it contained endless prestige and it could sense everything in the universe.

“The aura of the Ancient Clan…” A soft murmur could be heard in the hall. It sounded like a whisper at first, but in a flash, it became a loud, explosive sound. The Blazing Sun ruler slowly lifted his head and looked out of the hall. His eyes were calm but there was a questioning look in them.

Back then, he had personally carried out the punishment and massacred the entire Ancient Clan. He had personally confirmed that he had cut off all possibilities of life for this clan such that their bloodline would never again appear in this world. Then where did this aura come from and why did it appear now?

What had happened? The Blazing Sun ruler frowned and his body stiffened. As he stood up from his throne, a sudden booming came from the temple that was hidden deep within the galaxy. It felt like a giant that had been hibernating for many years had woken up.

The light Sun Ring Illusion behind the hall brightened and a thick, blinding light accompanied by a terrifying aura stretched out from it.

Right at this moment, a calm voice rang through the hall, “Don’t rush, now is not the time.”

The Blazing Sun ruler who had just been about to rise from his throne shivered slightly and he slowly sat back down. He stared into the empty space in the hall. There was nothing there, but the Blazing Sun ruler knew that he was here.

That’s right, it was him!

An existence that could not be described. Even though the Blazing Sun ruler knew of his presence for many years, the Blazing Sun ruler did not know what he was nor where he came from.

Undeniably, he was omnipotent and omniscient. Although he was not a Blazing Sun, he could easily destroy a Blazing Sun. This was not an exaggeration but it was something that happened many years ago. The calamity that befell the Blazing Suns in the past was very long ago, however, the remaining eight Blazing Suns had not recovered from their shock.

“Back then, you wanted to destroy the Ancient Clan and I helped you do it. Now, the aura of the Ancient Clan has appeared again and I feel a threat coming from it. Don’t you have anything to explain about this?” The Blazing Sun ruler slowly spoke.

In the empty hall, the voice rang calmly again, “I know of your worries and uneasiness but now is not the time for you to take action. Otherwise, you will be going against the agreement that I made with an old friend of mine.”

The Blazing Sun ruler’s voice deepened, “How much longer should I wait?”

“Till I ask you to take action.” The calm voice did not waver at all and there was a clear, strong will from it. Despite how strong the Blazing Sun ruler was, his voice was steady and he did not give in at all.

Silence resumed in the hall.

Deep in the galaxy, the Sun Ring Illusion behind the temple slowly grew dim and it contained its aura.

……

Central Desolate. The territory of Great Qin doubled within a month.

Without any warning, the Southeast Desolate Area Imperial Clan suddenly changed sides and announced that they belonged to Great Qin. This was a deadly blow to the alliance of the East and South Desolate. In the end, the alliance suffered a catastrophic defeat and sustained many casualties.

The Desolate World was shaken!

The long silence from White Jade Capital also added to the Desolate Areas’ despair and helplessness. Without support from White Jade Capital, it was only a matter of time before their defenses were broken down.

Right as the Imperial Clans and powerful families in the various nations grew angry, Emperor Qin made an announcement to the world from Xianyang. The king of the Southeast Desolate Region would be crowned Southeast King. Its ancestral temples would be preserved and the ten inner cities of the Southeast Desolate Region would be sealed off as forbidden grounds for successive generations of the imperial family to enjoy the wealth.

At the same time, envoys from Great Qin went to the various Desolate regions to pass a message from Emperor Qin. The first three empires to submit to the Central Desolate would receive the same treatment as the Southeast Desolate. The remaining empires would receive half of these riches, and the empires who resisted to the end would face the fury of Emperor Qin. Their Imperial Clans would be massacred and their bloodline would be cut off such that they would be wiped off the earth and would disappear in the passage of time. Great Qin’s threat was tough and direct. It did not carry much technical content but no one questioned Great Qin’s ability to do this.

Capital of the West Desolate.

Ministers knelt on the ground with dark looks. There was sadness and despair in the eyes of the West Desolate King. He had wanted to retain his throne to wipe out corruption in the Imperial Clan and catch up to Great Qin. With that, he would be able to create a beautiful empire that was comparable to Great Qin. However, before he could succeed, the situation worsened…he did not have time!

The West Desolate King knew that this move by Emperor Qin had filled everyone with despair. Even if the West Desolate did not want to surrender, they had to. Otherwise, they could only wait for death as the entire Imperial Clan was killed. Only by surviving did they have a chance to continue living in the future.

“Relay my orders, I have decided to submit to Great Qin. Have the Great Qin envoy report to Emperor Qin and tell him to take care of the citizens of the West Desolate.”

“Your Majesty is wise!” The ministers in the palace rejoiced.

The ten clans and the Imperial Clan!

In the entire palace, which family clan did not had a marriage link to the Imperial Clan? Therefore, it was the best outcome for His Majesty to be willing to submit to Great Qin.

Otherwise, to save themselves, they would have to do unpleasant things.

Very soon, reports from the West Desolate, North Desolate and South Desolate came.

The Northwest and Eastwest Desolate Areas followed soon after.

Only the East Desolate did not have an answer.

On this day, Emperor Qin personally descended upon the East Desolate’s capital. Using his great Divine Ways, he smashed the imperial palace with a single palm. The king of the East Desolate who was in the True King realm faced the battle and used a hidden card of the empire. He merged with a powerful golden dragon from a Mutant World, unleashing majestic and divine aura that shocked the world.

However, Emperor Qin was the eventual victor of this match. His Great Dao, a fiercely burning incense power, was a galaxy of stars that was brightly illuminated. It was brilliant and stunning and with one blow, it destroyed the armor of the golden dragon of the East Desolate King

Abiding by his words, Emperor Qin killed the entire bloodline of the Imperial Clan of the East Desolate. Within ten degrees of separation, those who had any blood ties with the Imperial Clan were killed. The majority of the citizens in East Desolate City were killed. With over a few thousand people killed within a short span of time, blood permeated the air!

Vengeful and evil auras filed the air and turned into a demon. It was the amassment of hatred from the Imperial Clan. This evil energy turned into a projection of the East Desolate King who was riding on the dead spirit of a dragon. However, Emperor Qin merely threw a punch that destroyed the demon in one blow. Daylight dawned on the world again.

At this moment, everyone submitted to Emperor Qin. Those who survived knelt on the ground and kowtowed with utmost respect.

Boom –

The Incense Great Dao behind Emperor Qin appeared again. Although it was just a projection, it was incredibly dense and appeared very realistic. It was massive and it seemed to stretch out for all eternity. In the burning Incense Flame, there were Sun Moon Illusions. As these light points intercrossed with each other, they released a terrifying energy around Emperor Qin’s Incense Great Dao.

Finally, he was invincible in the Desolate World and he was the emperor of an unrivaled Great Qin!

Emperor Qin lifted his head; his eyes appeared deep as he looked in the direction of the Eternal Sea. Beyond it was where the human cultivators were, and now, he had a feeling that Qin Yu was there…and he was preparing for the final battle!

The ninth White Jade Capital was in the Desolate World. It was hidden in the skies and it never showed itself. Firstly, White Jade Capital itself was very mysterious, and secondly, Emperor Qin would not allow it to descend. In Emperor Qin’s eyes, the Desolate World was his and he was the only ruler here!

If Emperor Qin was willing to, he could very easily tell White Jade Capital that the Barbarian King was hidden among the human cultivators. This would make Qin Yu’s life a lot more troublesome.

However, he did not do so.

Because he had a clear feeling that he would soon have a battle with Qin Yu that would decide their life and death. They were the only ones who could participate in this battle and no one else could interfere. Emperor Qin understood when something was predestined – it culminated as a very strong feeling…perhaps, after this battle, he would finally learn who he was.

“Qin Yu, I have united the Desolate regions.

“When will you come?”

……

As Emperor Qin united the Desolate regions and received a massive power boost, Qin Yu was crossing the Ninerealms and gathering World Origin there. He was preparing to refine the World Hearts. To ensure that everything was fair, he had reached an agreement with the nine Dao Masters. He would gather a large amount of World Origin and refine it into nine World Hearts. From there, he would use them to create complete World Origins. This would require a large amount of World Origin. Thankfully, the Ninerealms had recovered. Otherwise Qin Yu would definitely encounter issues from taking so much World Origin.

At the same time, he was also continuously absorbing incense power from the Ninerealms. Qin Yu could sense his Great Dao slowly reaching perfection and it was about to be ready to be ignited.

“Qin Yu, do not forget about your Incense Spirit. You need to give him sufficient World Origin to achieve a better outcome.” The little blue lamp reminded him.

Very quickly, Qin Yu obtained the World Origin from the Ninerealms. Using his Great Dao as a medium, he channeled the World Origin into his Divine Nation to help the Incense Spirit, Qin Y?.

In the capital city Xianyang of the other Qin Nation.

With a large amount of World Origin entering his body continuously, his aura was getting stronger and the link between him and the Divine Nation was strengthening. The results were that the Divine Nation’s speed of absorbing incense power and fusing it with his Great Dao was increasing.

It was effective!

Ten days later, the first World Heart had been completed. Qin Yu went to find the nine Dao Masters of the White Jade Capitals to share the news with them.

Ignoring Seventh Dao Master, there was no way for the eight Dao Masters to share one World Heart. They discussed according to the usual rules and they decided to combine forces to create a seal on the World Heart. The World Heart would be kept by Qin Yu again. After all, as long as the nine Dao Masters wanted to, they could retrieve the World Heart with a single thought. Furthermore, only with the nine Dao Masters allied together could they have assurance that Qin Yu would not be able to harm it.

At the same time, the nine White Jade Capitals were like oceans with a massive hole in them. Energy was being sucked out of them rapidly to help the Ninerealms recover. Even though the nine Dao Masters had been prepared for this because of Qin Yu’s warning, their faces grew serious.

They called for Qin Yu again and his answer was that everything was normal. The recovery of the Ninerealms required much energy. However, Qin Yu would not tell the nine Dao Masters that he had taken a portion of the World Origin to give directly to his Incense Spirit and make him stronger.

Everything proceeded according to plans but Qin Yu did not let his guard down. On the contrary, the more time passed, the more his heart tightened. The closer things were to completion, the more dangerous it was.

Even if the nine Dao Masters had fallen into his trap, it was obvious that these masters of the nine White Jade Capitals would have hidden cards. It was not yet known who would flip the table and have the final laugh.

Nonetheless, Qin Yu had no way out from this. He had to continue forward and accept the outcome. He would either successfully acquire the rights to continue gambling in his life or he would die!
