Chapter 2022: The Criminal Is Getting A Slap

Other soldiers heard that. They glanced over at Ren Qian Yi. 'Lieutenant Colonel Ren, you might lose your legs if you kept talking.'

The criminal snorted when he knew the reason this soldier was so mad at him. He decided to taunt the soldier.

"She probably realized dating someone like you would be difficult. She might find another man while you are with me here." The criminal laughed. The criminal provoked Long Hui. Ren Qian Yi saluted him for being so brave. Long Hui stood up and slowly walked to the criminal. "Colonel Long, remember you can not kill him." Ren Qian Yi reminded Long Hui.

"I know... But getting injured is a different thing." Long Hui said.

Long Hui raised his hand. The criminal scoffed. So, he would just get a slap. Nothing serious. He could hold on. Pang! A loud slapping sound could be hurt. The criminal felt hot and pain on his left cheek. He also felt some liquid form inside his mouth. He spit it out. Then, everyone including himself was shocked when they saw several teeth together with some blood being spat out. "Wow, that's strong." Ren Qian Yi said. n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

"You better answer all of the questions. Otherwise..." Long Hui did not finish his sentence. Instead, he glared at the several teeth. "You!" The criminal glared at Long Hui. The criminal finally confessed what Long Hui wanted to hear. He would appear to the world again. Disappeared was his own tactic to make the criminal think it was finally safe. However, the mission was still not finished yet. They still needed to catch his crime partners. They needed to act faster before the crime partners realized that their partners had been caught by the soldier. After getting information from the criminal, Long Hui with several soldiers made their moves. They rushed to a remote area which had been trusted to be the hiding place for the other criminal.

The time was perfect since all of the partners were staying there for the night. When Long Hui and others attacked the place, they were drinking and playing some card games. Their reactions were slow due to alcohol. Their movement immediately being restricted by the soldiers. One of them wanted to escape but to no avail. He received a gunshot in his thigh. The sudden pain made him fall down and impossible to escape. "You bitch!" He shouted at Long Hui. Long Hui ignored the swear and asked his subordinate to restrain his hand. "How do you know this place?" The criminal shouted.

"You should thank your friend." Long Hui replied. The criminal looked at his partners. He finally recalled that one of them did not come tonight. 'So, it is because of that bastard, we got caught.' He was furious. "Don't worry. You will meet him soon." Ren Qian Yi grinned.

"Take them all. Let's return." Long Hui ordered.  It had been over two months. His mission was just to catch the criminal. He would hand over the criminals to the military to handle them. He did not care what happened to the criminal next.

As the informant, of course, he would also receive his punishment. His crime was unforgivable. He had betrayed his country and the military. The soldiers including Long Hui and Ren Qian Yi allowed to return to Binhai Nation. Without waiting for any second, Long Hui packed his belongings and returned home.

They landed the military camp in the Capital City. After submitting the various reports, Long Hui finally had one week off. He took a flight and returned to FINN City. Once the flight arrived, Long Hui put on his face mask covering half of his face. However, people are still drawn to look at him due to his height and noble aura. Some people thought he was an actor or celebrity who just come back home from an overseas job.

A reporter saw it as an opportunity. He immediately rushed to Long Hui with his camera.

"Sir, can I see your face?" The reporter asked.

"Step aside." Long Hui said.

People would see that Long Hui frowned. The reporter thought that this man was really a celebrity who wanted to escape from him. He reached out his hand to pull the face mask. Long Hui pushed the hand away. He just wanted to leave the place and wanted to see his beloved Qi Qi. He stepped aside.

The reporter saw it and blocked Long Hui's path again. He grinned.

"If you want to leave, you should let me snap a picture of your face first." The reporter said again.

"Tsk..." Long Hui clicked his tongue. His murderous aura leaked out. The reporter suddenly felt cold. When he saw the man's eyes, he immediately became scared. His legs gave away. He fell to the ground. Long Hui snorted. He walked away leaving the reporter who still sat down on the ground like an idiot. He reached for the taxi who waiting for their customers. Long Hui told the taxi driver to drive to his house. The taxi driver told him that he could not pass the gate if he did not have the pass. Long Hui assured the taxi driver that he had the pass to be shown to the gate guard. As the taxi driver said, they had been stopped by the gate guard. "You are not allowed to enter." The guard said.

The taxi driver looked at Long Hui.
