One Piece: Gambling to The Top

"Since when did you activate it?" Kalifa asked with a stern voice. 

Spandam held his severed arm, stood up, and turned to her. "You betrayer! What's wrong with you!" Spandam yelled with a weak voice. 

"Humph. I have nothing wrong with me. Just following my instinct." Kalifa said, her full red blood lips making a smirk. 

"Kalifa, finish him off," Josh said, giving Spandam a half look. 

Spandam seemed to be in disbelief as Kalifa appeared in front of him and stabbed her fingers to his neck, piercing it. Spandam fell on the ground as she took her finger back, him holding his neck, unable to breathe. 

Robin, on the other hand, was holding her head with both hands, her eyes focusing on the Golden Snail. Robin had lost her family. Her home, her country, each part of it was destroyed by the marines. 

All of it started because of that Golden Snail. Or rather, Buster call. 

Buster Call. When it's used, it summons a fleet from the marines with their strongest individual. When it has a target, it would destroy it, simply. 

Five Vice Admirals, Haki masters, would be on their way here leading a strong fleet.

And no one knows who is the Admiral candidate among them, or if an admiral has time to spare. 

In short, they are fucked up. 

Now knowing that Spandam had used it earlier, the marines should be on their way here. 

"Damn it, not again." Looking at Josh, she felt like crying. When she had been a kid, she lost everyone she had loved to the Buster Call. Now, she is looking at a man she loves, and he is about to die because of her. 

Josh, despite knowing her past, turned and gave her an assuring smirk, "Don't worry, we get this." 

Robin, who was panting, stopped when Josh hugged her and patted her on the head, making her feel warm and calm down. Robin realised it now. She was crying. When she looked at his eyes, he said those words. 

"We can escape." 

"How?" she asked, unconsciously, while being nervous. 

Robin had few suggestions. Probably, if she turned her on to the Marines, Josh would have a chance to escape. To her, it felt better than having him getting killed.

"How? Is a question I would ask a girl who had been escaping from them before even I was born." 

Robin started calming down. 

Josh would never leave her, and she should never do. 

There is one solution. 

When Josh swept her tears with her hand, she smiled and felt assured. 

"Alright, let me think of something quickly." 

Turning her head, she looked at the bodies of the agents, and to the ships of the marines again. There were also many men of the World Government. 

Josh… While Robin was thinking of a way to escape, he had just accepted the gamble from the system, his head on the line.

'Do I have the choice to say no,' That what Josh had thought about? 

He would have to accept this quest no matter what. After all, he can't turn himself into the Buster Call. 

They have many Vice Admirals. As Josh believes that he doesn't have plot armour, he knows he is doomed to be defeated if he faced a Vice Admiral. 

Why, they are damn strong and have Haki, which Josh doesn't. Not to mention their number advantage. 

By the time Josh lifted his head, Robin had a serious expression on her face. 

Seeing that she stopped crying, Josh knew that she surpassed her past mental trauma. 

"You got a plan?" 

"Yes, we must hurry," Robin said. 

Seeing the waiting expression on Josh's face, she pointed to the ships behind him. 

"We will take a random ship of the World Government. Meanwhile, we will cover the agent's faces and our faces, and send each ship in a separate direction. However, the rest would depend on our luck if a ship of the Buster Call follow us." 

Robin plans were good, Josh has to admit. She wanted to draw the Buster Call into different ships, while they go in another direction. 

However, Josh thought about something extra. 

"Good, but how about we do this instead. It is a bit risky." Josh had a smile. 

"Weird, your face." Mikita examined Josh expression as she let her face getting closer to his. "It's like you are going to scam someone, like our old days in the casino." 

"Yes, good old days." Josh smiled at Mikita, kissed her, and then turned to the rest of the group. "Let's take an average-sized boat." 

Meanwhile, Robin used her ability to clean the battle location. 

With her arms strong now, she could move the agents and their followers back to the warships they came with. 

Although there were some of the crews inside of these ships, Robin could deal easily with them using her ability. Now that she had 6 tons in her body, her arms are capable of killing anyone just by choking them with one hand. The neck was a weak part even for a strong agent. 

Now that she got rid of the rest, she turned to Josh, who was lifting a small ship above his head. 

"Let's go." He said, ready to go.
