Chapter 62: The Mysterious Black Hoodie

Chapter 62: The Mysterious Black Hoodie

"Hah Hah Hah" ZhenZhen was out of breath as the notification of the weakened state rang in her head. She looked at the man in front of her with an incredible gaze. The man had a stone that was triple his body size yet he kept running at a constant speed.

Meanwhile, she only had three kilos weight on her back, yet she could not catch up with Runner. He told her to took a long breath and released it out slowly as she ran. She tried the method but it did not work for her. This was just too much for her.

Meanwhile, Ming was worst than her. He was running out of breath and entered the weakened state in his fourth lap. She wanted to stop and threw her body on the cool grass. She wanted to get a break. However, Runner's words rang in her head.

"You can't stop midway, you have to finish ten laps even if you are in your weakened state or the training would be wasted and you have to repeat it. My Master can see my growth by just looking with his eyes, maybe your Teacher can do the same too," That was what Runner told her.

If her Teacher found that there was no improvement in her physical training, her Teacher might be disappointed in her and retracted back the legacy. ZhenZhen did not want that to happen as Epic Class was too precious to be wasted. With great determination, ZhenZhen continued by walking.

On the other side, Ming walked slowly with the fifteen-kilos stone on his back. His body was swaying to the right and left, was about to fall anytime.

'I regret it! I regret it! I regret it!' Ming kept saying that in his head. He thought he would be okay since he had the foundation, but then he found out that his training was nothing compared to Shen. The training set provided by the training center was nothing compared to this.

His purpose of picking up the fifteen-kilos stone was to show off to ZhenZhen. Instead of showing off, he was embarrassing himself in front of her, 'I should have listened to Shen's advice.' Ming truly regretted that he did not listen to his friend.

"Shen, don't you get boring by doing that every day?" Ming asked before he clamped the tofu on his bowl and delivered it into his mouth, "While the exhaustion will be gone once we log out, but it was still too much for a game."

Ming had come to Uncle Hou's stall to treat Shen some food. This was the least thing he could do for Shen after what his friend had done for him. He could sell the information and got rich by himself, but he chose his friend.

"Will you stop doing it as well?" Shen replied with a question too. They were talking about extreme training. The feeling of exhaustion was so real even in the game. Ming admired his friend for not quitting even after a month and a half doing the same exhausting thing in the game.

"Of course, not. This is my chance to go big, I will face all the obstruction and prove to my father that he is wrong about the game." Ming replied instantly. Ming's father was the old-fashioned type. Even though there was a profession of a gamer and streamer, his father believed in more a stable job in the office. Yes, Ming's father wanted him to be an office worker.

"The same for me. This is my chance to achieve my goal. I won't stop with just this little hurdle," Shen shrugged as Ming nodded understandingly.

"What about Dale, should we tell him about the hidden village and ask him to move to our server?" Ming did not forget his other best friend, Dale. Dale was still in the UK, in his last year of university.

"Can he cross the server? He is still overseas," Shen was unsure about Dale. The reason he was not worried about Dale, the guy was from a well-off family. Even if he did not get into the hidden village, he would be okay.

"We should tell him. It's been a long time since we played together," Ming nodded and moved his chin toward Shen's phone, "You call him."

"Nah, we are in a public place. I will call him once we back into the game." Shen shook his head.

"But Shen, how did you know the way to enter the hidden village? I thought the hidden village can only be accessed from God Burial near the Eternal Wind City. From my understanding of the elders, all of them were from the Eternal Wind City as well," Ming asked Shen. While their voice was not especially loud, but the other people from the other table could hear their conversation.

"It's okay, Shen. The uncles who ate here do not play the game. They don't know what we are talking about," Ming reassured his friend with a wave of his hand.

"It's actually just a guess, but ZhenZhen's appearance in the village confirmed my theory. We have ten famous gorges, ten houses, and ten classes. I quickly connect the dot and thought that the hidden can be accessed through the famous gorge. However, one gorge is only for one person. So if you try to jump into God Burial, you can't enter the hidden village as I have taken the quota from God Burial." Shen explained his thoughts.

"Since Jade Gorge, Eternal Waterfall, and God Burial's quota, we can only wait for the other players to fall to the other seven famous gorges." Ming nodded understandingly.

The two best friends continued chatting without Little Witch Lin Lin disturbed them. Of course, Little Lin Lin was still there, she was listening to the two's conversation attentively while playing a black pen in her hand. It was a rare moment for her to be quiet.

Fifteen minutes later, Shen and Ming left the stall. Lin Lin was still there. After making sure the two brothers had gone, Lin Lin jumped off the chair and walked toward the table at the corner fot the stall. There was a person sitting there, wearing a black sweater with a hoodie covered the person's face.

Lin Lin sat next to the person, "Beautiful Sister, I have recorded everything they talked about." The little girl waved the black pen in her hand. The Beautiful Sister was about to take the black pen that turned out to be a recorder from her, but Lin Lin was faster, "I will not give this to you unless you promise something." She pulled the black pen and hid it behind her back.

"What do you want me to promise, Lin Lin?" A melodious and soft voice came from the person with a black hoodie. From the voice, everyone easily identified the person as a woman.

"Promise me that you will not hurt Brother Shen and Brother Ming!" Little Lin Lin raised her voice slightly.

The person raised her head and showed her face to Lin Lin, "I promise I will not hurt Brother Shen and Brother Ming."
