316 They'Re Hiding Something.
Apparently some of Emil's prayers did not reach heaven.
That is also because the fire that Lianya appropriately chose a place to put on instantly spread and became quite a big fire.
Come to think of it, it was just a thick cloth covering the perimeter, and if Lianya lit this with magic, it was only natural that it would burn easily.
Moreover, the skeletons were mostly made of wood, which also extended to this quite economically, resulting in widespread flames burning.
"Hey, isn't that too much?
If Emil whines while watching the flames light up the darkness of the night, there is no response from Lianya.
If Emil, wondering, moved his eyes from the scene of the fire to Lotus Ya, Lotus Ya was somehow trying to make his fingers wander in the air, but after a while he nodded one, he lowered his finger, which was fluttering down, and looked back at Emil as he noticed Emil's gaze for the first time there.
"What's up?
"No, I was wondering if it was too much. Besides, isn't this gonna be a crime?
Even if Emil just thought about it a lot, arson is naturally a crime, plus a couple of illegal break-ins into places the state is hiding and assaults on soldiers who were guarding there.
If there was obstruction of law enforcement on this, I felt guilty that it would not be strange to be put in a cell for quite a long time. When Emil said that, Lianya said this after looking at the burning scene without looking greatly concerned.
"We're at war now, aren't we?
"Huh? Oh well, yeah. That's what's going on."
The opponent of war is of course the Demon Nation or the Demon King.
This and the fact that the other four continents are in a state of war is where both the people, the elves and the beasts acknowledge, and for that reason Klinge was now acting like its front-line base.
Unfortunately, as far as the Dragon Nation is concerned, it was in a state where it was not possible to do anything to give some sort of certification of the situation on the continent, since what looked like a government organization had already been destroyed and only a small number of people with brave men and witch princesses remained, but perhaps even if I asked them, Emil does not think there would be any disagreement as to the fact that it is at war.
"It's not just the Principality of Triden, but if you look it up right now, there are laws like this in most people's countries."
I've looked into it, and I haven't used it very often, but I occasionally took the liberty of showing off the help feature.
Of course this doesn't look like Emil, so Lotus Ya from Emil just seemed to wander his fingers in the air with nothing, but Lotus Ya was doing some research with it.
"In times of war, nobility in each territory may be convicted or punished by abbreviated summary executions in their territory, without recourse to national judgement."
"It's a law that recognizes the Lord's discretionary right. I thought the Demons had the same laws."
Similar laws are often enacted in the general State, based on the fact that during wartime, either trials were held or the Lords asked their home countries, in an environment of war where there was too much cumbersome work and crime was more likely to occur, and that the home countries could not be involved in such matters at all in order to be able to keep up with the final processing.
Emil answered that much, realizing what Lianya wanted to say and looked into it, staring at Lianya with an indescribably subtle look, and understanding that Emil had noticed what she wanted to say, Lianya said this with a confident look.
"Lenya-kunugi, not guilty"
"Wow... I guess that's legal in law, but what about being a person?
"Once I've decided I'm not guilty, I'm not guilty without telling anyone. You can have an abbreviated summary."
I couldn't complain about Emil, anyway, because it is legally decided to complain to Lianya, who would not complain.
By the way, some of Emil's prayers were not heard, which means some of them were heard.
It was about the injured that Emil was worried about, etc.
It was Emil who decided to do so while lurking in the dark that this could be quite an accident in a firehand that was more momentum than he thought and turned faster than he thought, but the movement of the soldiers who were protecting the scene was much faster than Emil had expected.
As if they had expected this to happen, the quickly assembled soldiers quickly began handily extinguishing the fire when they brought out watering sand with buckets, trolleys, etc., and the momentum of the fire immediately began to fade.
Emil was impressed with this hands-on goodness, but it is only natural that we cannot always see the soldiers' hands-on fire suppression activities.
"The soldiers cautioned against it. We're moving now."
"I don't know... I'm supposed to be a demon, but it hurts my heart"
It was Emil, who I don't think would ever get injured if he did this, but while he felt somewhat backward, he succeeded in drawing the attention of the soldiers exactly as he had originally intended, and with Lianya in the desire to shelf various things, he starts breaking into the bungalow building, which is built in an overlapping and hidden place.
The building was truly built in a way that, in Emil's eyes, was nothing but clueless.
That building, built with wood and lacquered things, is such a building that although strength is what seems to be held there, it is not at all comfortable to live in.
From Emil's point of view, it seemed like it was built for such a purpose that it would have to be built there in such a hurry, for the time being, that there was nothing at all that seemed to have to be hidden for once.
The windows on which I am sorry and the entrance doors are also very clutterfully constructed, only locked enough to be opened lightly, even without a combination of professional skills.
"One wire is enough."
Still, Emil just twisted the lock on the door, which was locked because of a security problem, a few times with a properly folded wire, and opened it lightly.
"That's easy stuff."
"I'm in the mood to take you down a little on security."
With that said, they were two people who snuck into the building, but although it was something they somehow knew from the outside, the contents of the building were hardly anything placed in proportion to the appearance of the grudge.
A number of rooms also existed, but there was no indication that someone was operating there, and some tables and chairs were kept, but nothing more.
"There's just not enough to hide, is there?
Asked by Lianya, who colors the building as she pondered if there was anything missing, Emil gave her one nod back.
The sneaky buildings are all greatly worthless, whether they're built or left inside if nothing big, and I can't think of any reason why the Grand Duke of the Principality of Triden, the Emperor of the Elves, or the Queen of the Beastmen, etc., purposefully hid this by covering it multiple times.
"Does that mean some kind of camouflage?
"The fate is separate," he said?
Not so rare is the method of deliberately causing strict vigilance to be exercised where there is nothing to divert the surrounding eye from something.
It was Lianya tilting her neck wondering if she had fitted into such an easy hook, but Emil said a few words to think about it and then deny that Lianya thought.
"No, isn't that unlikely? If this is the capital of each race, I can still tell the story, but this is Renya's territory, right? I don't think we can hide the existence of our destiny by creating a dummy construction site without telling Lenya."
"Then is this still where you're meant to be?
"Right. I think that's natural."
Answered Emil begins to kick the floor at his feet properly with his toes.
This building, built in a bungalow, had no place in Emil's sight where he could hide things.
On top of that, if this building were to be the building of its destiny, it was Emil's behavior to think that there would be no other hiding things in the basement, but this would attract a hit.
Emil, who had the guts to keep kicking on the floor as she went around the room separated by some, noticed that the sound of kicking on the floor changed slightly when she entered a certain room, sending a signal to Lianya, who was watching over the work.
Lianya noticed it flashed a sword that was on her hips as she glanced at the floor Emil pointed out.
They swept the floorboards round.
A staircase leading to the basement existed beneath the exposed floor.
"When I move this around some trick, I guess I had to cut off the floor?
"It's a waste of time looking for that trick. When the soldiers come back, everything's a bubble."
Lianya, who answered, accompanied Emil, descending down the stairs where she appeared when she lit the magic light at the tip of her finger.
The stairs didn't last that long, and Lianya's physical sensation was the end point where she dived a few meters underground.
At its end, there were heavily constructed metal doors that were not comparable to those provided for buildings built on the ground.
"This, too, hang up?
"No, this is... I think there's some kind of alarm or something."
Taking control of Lianya, who pulled out the knife, Emil crawls her gaze on its surface as she approached the door carefully.
Neither the knob nor the keyhole could be found in that door, which showed the construction as if what had been built on the ground had been some mistake, as far as the exterior was concerned.
However, once done, elaborate plant sculptures are surprisingly dug into all the surfaces, and even then, it can be seen that the door would have been made at considerable effort and cost.
"I don't see any key holes... but it's a door I don't even feel like pushing and opening"
"You mean you need steps or tricks to open it?
"Right. I think it's an elf sealing ceremony."
If that's what stands out, Emil guesses the person who made this wanted to hide what lies ahead of this door with considerable temper.
That was what it meant to use the technique for a powerful seal, not just a key by sorcery, but deliberately passed down to the Elves, on the door.
"It's not surprising they use it because it's the breath of the Elf Emperor,"
Electric light runs through the door at Emil's right fingertip, trying to touch the surface of the door.
Emil, who had drawn his hand as it had been played with the fierce noise of Bachi, but his fingertips had burned black, and the unpleasant smell of the burning of meat, and raised white smoke.
"Emil!?
"Hey failure failure. Looks like you did it differently."
"You, my finger..."
"You don't have to worry about it because it's not a problem to this extent. I don't know why, but if you lick this area a little, it might heal quickly."
Lianya gave a bewildered look to Emil, who laughed mischievously, showing her burnt fingertips with her gaze.
Seeing that look on his face, Emil turns the kind of grin into a bitter laugh.
Perhaps, although I tried to worry when I saw Emil's fingers burned, I figured out what was wrong with him when he asked me to lick them there. Emil immediately understood into Lianya's head.
"I hope you don't look like that because I'm kidding."
Yet Emil draped the viscous, seemingly liquid in the vial from his hot pants pocket into his burnt finger when he removed it, rubbing it well with his opposite hand.
That's all the burned skin went back to the beautiful skin before it was burned while looking at it, and Emil slowly moved her hands closer to the door again, confirming the result.
"The order in which the decorations are touched is supposed to be the procedure for disarming it... analyzing this with a no-tip is going to break my bones"
If this is a place like a dungeon, it probably wouldn't have been strange to have something like a hint nearby to unseal for those who challenge that trial, but the door Emil is trying to unseal now is just a door, and you don't have to bother leaving clues nearby on how to unseal it.
In other words, Emil, without any hint, had to find something called the procedure for unsealing the door while analyzing the procedure, the difficulty of which was considerable.
"I don't have time, so I'm not ready for some damage...... Lenya, I'm sorry, but I need you to be on guard behind me."
All right, I'll take care of it.
After undertaking to look at Lotus Ya snorting, Emil gently leaves a vial containing the medicine that he fixed his finger on to the floor, and then takes some more vials out of his jacket cover to make sure Lotus Ya's gaze is pointing behind him before pouring the contents into his throat.
"Not so much damage, but fingertips are sensitive, and I don't like pain."
Emil whimpered so loudly after taking out that medicine with less advisable ingredients to reduce the pain, hurried as much as he could to work on the analysis of the door procedure while feeling that he could not afford so much time.
