Chapter 75: New Tabs? - I

Dressed in some new clothes, Thea was lead downstairs and led through the hall before they arrived at the large dining room.

Sitting in the same spots as yesterday were Lily, Mia and finally Elize, who strangely enough had her head lowered.

'Urg, what's with the atmosphere, it's like someone died.' Thea quietly thought to herself as she sat down at her chair.

"Althea Do you feel different in any way?" Lily asked, finding it difficult to find the right words.

"Normal. How about you?" Thea responded as she started filling her plate with food.

" Do you remember what happened to you after you passed out yesterday?" Lily asked.

"You mean like if I remember what I did this morning?" Thea confusedly asked as she took a bite of the pancake she had taken, moaning quietly in response.

Confirming the fact that Thea had no memory of yesterday, she let out a long sigh, both in relief and in worry.

"Yesterday when you went unconscious, you then woke up again, released an enormous pressure and summoning something, which you then absorbed before going back to bed. Elize who saw this firsthand is still pretty shaken up about this, as you can see." Lily said while looking at Elize, thinking it was a better idea to rip off the band-aid.

"EEEHH?!?! I did something like that?" Thea asked bewildered while looking at Elize.

"Can you look at that 'status' of yours to see if something has changed?" Lily asked.

Yesterday Lily couldn't sense anything in Thea so after thinking long and hard during the night to figure out what was going on, she had then remembered the brief explanation of the 'skills' Thea had and figured it was best to just ask her.

Still surprised about the news she had just heard, Thea brought up her status to check her attributes but everything was normal, everything except of a new window located below her two skill windows.

[Activate 'Status' skill to view new addition.]

Thea's eye twitched as she read the panel. This was the first time something new like this had happened.

Thea then thought about the meaning behind the new window.

'Am I not already in my status right now?? What does it mean activate Status skill? Isn't it [Status Screen]?' Thea thought to herself as she tried to unencrypt the message.

'Wait, activate it says, but all I do is think about my status and it pops up' Thea thought.

Thinking about it, Thea used her silent casting and said [Status].

When Thea did, her original status screen didn't disappear, instead there were some changes. Above her original status window were some new tabs next to each other.

The first which seemed to be in use was [Personal], next to it was [Offspring] then followed by [Linked Beings], [Notifications] and finally [Settings].

"" Thea was speechless.

'Did I have this, this whole time??'

Thea then pressed on the [Offspring] tab and her original screen showing her values disappeared only to be swapped with an empty screen.

'I don't have any children yet so I guess that's normal' Thea thought before she pressed on the next tab, [Linked Beings].

'Ooo there's something' Thea thought in surprise before trying to inspect it.

A new window opened up, but not the one Thea was expecting to see.

[Claim the SYSTEM package to receive the gifts.]

'Eehh? This is starting to feel more and more like a game' Thea thought deeply as she looked at the messages.

She then opened the next tab, [Notifications], and looked at the new window.

[Notifications Disabled]

'Disabled?? Can I enable them or what?' Thea thought as she ignored it for now and tried opening the [SYSTEM package] tab.

As she did, a new window popped up:

Although Thea was having conflicting feelings about the new 'additions' she curiously inspected each of the so called 'privileges'.
