New Life as a Futanari Tentacle Girl

Chapter 47: Group of 3

Chapter 47: Group of 3

Both Lily and Mia looked blankly at Thea, as if they heard something really stupid. That is when Lily had a face of realization when she thought of something.

"That's right, with how independent you are, I sometimes forget I haven't taught you anything but noble etiquette and cooking." Lily chuckled.

"Noble etiquette?" Mia asked and Lily in response raised her hand to stop her.

"I'll tell you about it later." Lily said while looking at Mia, she then turned to Thea and answered her question.

"You see, each species needs a different period of time until they become an adult, for humans its strangely always 18 years old, for elves it's when they turn around 50 years old, dwarves when they turn 30 as like the elves they have a long lifespan. Amazonians turn adults when they turn 14 and lastly beast kin vary greatly as there are different species but it's mostly between 14 and 17. Like you and me, or at least me because I am tentacle kin, I became an adult when I turned 15." Lily explained.

Thea thought for a while but realized she was thinking naively. On earth, even the humans had a very complicated system its just that 18 was the norm, now taking different species and a different world into account, Thea thought it was stupid she didn't expect this.

"You are tentacle kin? Isn't The Protector the last Tentacle Kin?" Mia asked, confused, looking at Lily and Thea.

"Let's say We are exceptions." Lily said with a warm smile, which somehow seemed threatening, stopping Mia from asking any more questions.

"Uhm, I won't ask further." Mia said looking down as if she had done something bad.

Thea who had been listening the whole time found the uneasy atmosphere uncomfortable, so she tried to change the topic.

"So, which academy did you go to?" Thea asked the first thing that came up in her mind.

"I haven't gone to an academy yet, the normal age for admission is after awakening so I was planning on leaving the day I was caught." Mia finished, tearing up again.

Confused, Thea decided to ask Mia instead of her mother, so the cat girl could focus on something else.

"But I'm heading there now and I'm not 16?" Thea asked Mia.

"I'm guessing you are about 14 or 15 so you are a year too young, but if you pass all the entrance tests, they allow admission anyhow." Mia said.

"Although my sweet little daughter is 12, she's talented enough to become the strongest." Lily said, while holding Thea tightly and pecking her on her cheek.

"12? Which academy do you plan on joining?" Mia asked bewildered.

"I'm sending my daughter to the school for talented children." Lily said with a bright smile.

"I was planning on enrolling there too but although I have been preparing for a long time." Mia said sitting up straight.

"Fufufu, well I hope you enjoy your time with my daughter then as I'm sure with your skills, you'll get in, no I'll make sure you do, as my daughter has taken a liking to you." Lily said.

Thea blushed a deep shade of red and looked to see Mia's reaction. Mia was looking at Thea with her big brown cat eyes coupled with a similar blush to her own.

"Fufufu, it seems there are no rejections to the idea. Tomorrow we will continue our journey to the capital, how about you show us what you are capable of then?" Lily asked Mia.

"Alright, even though those bandits captured me through cheap means, I'm not a softball." Mia said looking both hurt and proud.

"I look forward to it but now, we sleep." Thea said.

They all got in the tent with Lily spooning Thea and Thea spooning Mia. They did this because there wasn't a lot of space in the tent but they also enjoyed it.

As everyone fell asleep, Thea stayed up a little longer, thinking about all she heard in the past two hours. Just before falling asleep herself, she checked Mia's status.
