Naval Gacha System: It's Time To Monopolize The Seven Seas!

Chapter 243 | 243 | Unraveled Conspiracy

Somewhere within the United World Government, a lone group of executives gathered together in one location, hidden from everyone and everything. It was a gathering for the new society where they would rule over the country instead of the democratic World Government.

There were seven seats surrounded a round table within the dark meeting room. There was no light as to maintained the anonymous identities of the members that would be participating the following assembly. A light soon blinked, signifying that all appropriate members had arrived.

"It has been a terrible day, my friends. A martial law has been declared over the City of Dawn with the entirety of the United Military dispatched to enclosed its borders and airspace. I haven't heard much from my informants, though I guess they would also be trapped within the metropolis that is Dawn."

"We are here today to discuss the following events that had recently or currently transpiring amidst our faces. I'd like to here your opinions regarding the subject." One of the seven members stood up, acting as the host of the secret assembly.

His words resounded with calm as though he was nothing more but an easygoing individual making money and power for himself. When the other members heard of him, their eyebrows furrowed as they had been somewhat anxious regarding the actions of the UWG towards Dawn.

Another member of the round table began speaking with a tinge of dread. "The United World Government has caught signs of our existence. The moment they start investigating us. Everything will be unraveled to the world even if we resisted with all our might."

"I have joined this new society of ours to assure that our power grows along with the advancement of the country. As long as we maintained the status quo, it wouldn't take long before we become giants that could control foreign nations to our will. After all, the United World Government is destined for the apex."

"If it wasn't for someone trying to delve their toes into a military organization of beastfolks. We would have maintained the status quo and remained a secretive society without anyone or anything perceiving our existence. But since it has been compromised, I hope you would have a solution to this problem."

"Especially when you were the one that kept inviting your brother to join your senseless charade for power." The member glared at the so-called host of the meeting. The other members also turned their gaze towards the host of the gathering, their eyes narrowing at the same time.

What the member had uttered made sense. If it wasn't for the host causing trouble within a military organization, the status quo wouldn't have been affected and properly maintained like before. The host had affected all of them because of his ignorant actions.

The secretive society was now in the risk of being discovered by the United World Government, who would undoubtedly start searching for anyone connected to the troublesome situation within the City of Dawn.

The host was quiet at first, but the edges of his lips slowly rose as he maintained his confidence. "There is no need for my friends to be worried about the troubles that the United World Government might bring. I have already made my preparations regarding the possibilities of our discovery."

"If divided, our power within the United World Government might not be much. But when united under one banner, even we would have some authority within the United World Government. Authority that they wouldn't be able to ignore."

The members of the assembly merely raised their eyebrows with doubts written across their faces. Another one of them finally spoke their doubts regarding the host's words. "What kind of power are you talking about? Political power? Economical power? Military power?" Experience more on empire

"I doubt that in these sections of power, we would be able to even clash against the United World Government. The World Government has complete political power of the country. The Atlas Corporation has most of the economical power in their hands. While no one rivals the United Military in their own power."

"Even the local militarize garrisons wouldn't be effective in fighting them off. You might as well be asking yourself to be executed. So, I ask you again. What kind of power are you talking about?" Their words resounded within the meeting room. Almost all of the members glared at the host.

The host didn't care about their glares as though they were nothing more but insects in his eyes. Despite talking to them as if they were his friends, he never thought of them as such. It was merely an intriguing partnership that would further advanced his power within the country.

However, since the partnership was breaking apart. There was no doubt that the need for it to continue was no more. With this in mind, the host finally sighed to himself and realized that it was time to take over their powers for himself.

"I guess there is nothing I can do about it. I was trying to avoid this path, but it seems that destiny has already chosen for me." The host muttered to himself, his calm voice becoming colder by the moment. His eyes turned dull as he coldly remarked to the members. "This is my power."

A group of Minokins entered the meeting room with rifles pointed at the members of the secretive society. All of these Minokins were the special guards of the host. They were all loyal to him, not the country, the government, or anyone else. Their loyalty was all for him.

"I see... So, this is the plan you have in mind? Have you become mad?" One of the members questioned the host regarding his sanity. "As expected, becoming partners with you is a foolish endeavo-" Before he could continue, one of the special guards pulled the trigger and shot him on the head.

*Bang!*

Blood splattered throughout the walls and floor while the corpse of the member fell backward. The remaining members turned their gaze towards the dead member, dread piercing into their bones. Though, no screams escaped their mouths as they looked at the host once again.

"You have fallen, War Minister of Minos. You have broken the greatest pact of this group." Another member remarked, maintaining his calm despite the smell of blood permeated throughout the dark room. It was a mistake to gather together with their real bodies.

"Please don't misunderstand. One needs to fall for them to rise higher than ever before. The Minokin Tribe has been a warring species since our advent into this world. We were meant to conquer other races and enslaved them as well."

"But I have learned the hard way that there are superpowers within this world. Instead of facing them head on, accepting their demands and being patient was the better way to go. However, there are limits to my patience."

"The State of Minos has become an independent player within the multifaceted juncture that is the United World Government. Our economy, military, and government is completely that of our own. Our technology has even far surpass that of most of this world."

The War Minister kept rambling on about the independence of his tribe from the clutches of anyone and anything. To be able to control their fates, and others as well, gave him more satisfaction than anything else.

"It looks like you have mistaken what was given out of pity as something that was yours. I didn't expect you to be so arrogant and thick ski-" Another Minokin fired at the member that was speaking, killing him in an instant. Once again, the War Minister sighed and gave an order.

"Kill all of them and leave nothing of their existence behind. I want this place to be clean." After such an order, the War Minister left the meeting room and found himself surrounded by his loyal army. Another Minokin emerged and kneeled before the War Minister.

"My liege, their entourage of the members have been taken care of. We have captured them and are in the process of procuring all of their assets." The Minokin reported to the War Minister, who nodded in satisfaction and replied. "Good, make sure that their assets become ours."

"As long as we get their power, the State of Minos would become further independent from the grasps of the United World Government. The only thing we need to do is to enact what should have been done since the beginning." The War Minister smiled in glee.

...

Within the expanse of what was Servusarator, now known as the State of Minos, a Minokin girl watched as the garrison of the local government gathered every villager into the village square. The children were left behind in their homes while the adults were required to hear the announcement of the government.

"What is going on?"

"I don't know, I heard that there's an announcement."

"But with the local garrison making us heart it? I have a bad feeling."

Naturally, the villagers weren't delighted by the way they were forced into the village square through the force of the local garrison. It felt as though they were being coerced by the government, which didn't do them any good.

An enforcer stood in the state of the village square and announced the declaration of the local government. "The council and the War Minister has declared the independence of the State of Minos from the United World Government."

"We will be asking your support into our decision to become an independent nation and fight for our country."

"Anyone, who isn't willing to support or be drafted shall be met with judicial punishment of the state as traitors of the government."

"I hope that none of you will resist."
