However, when she finished changing, her hairstyle was a bit messy. Qin Zhiyou saw her hairpins at the end of the bed and picked them up for her. He held the hairpin in front of her: “Yours.”

Lu Weixi took it, but wasn’t in the mood to fix her hair and left it unfastened. She ran her fingers through her hair, shook her head slightly. She had recently had her hair cut to just below her shoulders. It was neither too professional nor too casual. When she shook her head, her femininity was overwhelming.

Qin Zhiyou looked at her, reached out to embrace her, but hesitated in case he stepped on a misstep. Instead, he mischievously tousled her hair. Lu Weixi tidied up with a disgruntled face, but he did it again until she glared back at him with an angry face.

Lu Weixi tidied her hair angrily. This time, Qin Zhiyou didn’t mess with her again. He wanted to say something when a phone call came in.

It was for Lu Weixi. Two hours had passed and it was getting close to lunchtime. Xiaochen was probably getting impatient. However, when Lu Weixi looked at the phone, the call was from her mother.

Lu Weixi looked back at Qin Zhiyou, who was also looking at her. She answered the call: “Hello, Mom.”

“Xixi, some new doctors and experts have shown up at the hospital. Were they invited by Zhiyou?”

This time, Lu Weixi looked back at Qin Zhiyou. His eyes displayed a certain seriousness as she answered, “I don’t think so, I don’t know.”

“I don’t want to go.” Lu’s mom bluntly declined Qin Zhiyou’s kind intention.
