Mr. Fang's Feisty Mistress

Chapter 463 Kidney Issues

"Are you set for what is to come?" Fang Bingwen asked while staring at the little woman all dressed up.

"I am. I wish I can crack a few knuckles first, but I am afraid that I can't wait." Liling replied while puffing some air out of her lungs.

How much she would have loved to take her time getting ready but where was the time? She only had time to jog in the morning before going to the bathroom to freshen up.

She had to be in the Zhang Residence before breakfast time as she needed for her father and stepmother to be present before she unboxes the Pandora.

"Mmm... There is no time. I can't wait for all of this to end." He said as he placed his hand on his waist and pulled her in for a quick smooching.

When he released her, she looked him in the eye and asked, "I thought you had low libido."

"What?" Mr. Fang froze. "W-why do you think so? Because I'm not as proactive as you are?"

"You even noticed? Good one." She nodded, getting out of his arms.

A soft sigh escaped his lips. "That's a misunderstanding. Nothing is wrong with me. I'm perfectly fine. It's just that we've been preoccupied with work. I know that's not a good excuse for not being affectionate to my wife. I'm sorry. As soon as this ends, I will take you to the glory land." He said, intertwining their fingers.

"I understand that you have been upright as you've been single for a long time, but it's time to loosen up." Kissing his cheek, she leaned away. "I have to leave now, don't be late."

"I will be right behind you." Mr. Fang said with a smile as he watched her pick up her bag and then walk away.

Since Zhang Liling couldn't drive, she had a chauffeur driver her down to the Zhang residence. That was her family, and it would be weird for Mr. Fang to follow her, especially, given the situation.

On the ride to the Zhang residence, she got a text from Zhang Xiaoling.

"She left?" She scoffed while reading through the lines. "I guess it's best for her because things are about to get messy." Sighing to herself, she slipped her phone back into her handbag and looked out of the window.

Honestly, this move Zhang Xiaoling made was the idea Zhang Liling heard for her. She thought it would be better for her to get away, more like hide from the storm that was warming up.

pαпdα-ňᴏνê|·сóМ At the end, learning that her step-sister had gone to some place far, Liling was not unsupportive instead she focused on how she would make an entrance.

Some minutes later, the car pulled over in the car park of the Zhang residence.

'I'm going in now.' Liling sent a text to Fang Bingwen before climbing out of the car.

"I think I might be a little late." She mumbled to herself while going into the house.

The day had already brightened which meant that breakfast might be already ongoing. Today was Saturday, but she had this confidence that she was going to meet just the right people.

She knew her father's schedule and knew he didn't have any emergency meeting planned till some time after breakfast and as for Shi Wenqian, even if she was running around for the wedding and had plans to leave, she could easily get her secretary to stall her.

Stepping into the house, Zhang Liling found out that the family was having breakfast after she inquired hence, she walked straight to the dining room with her handbag.

"Hello!" She greeted with a smile while standing at the entrance watching the family of three enjoying a hearty breakfast.

Immediately, they all turned their heads toward her direction.

"What are you here for?" Zhang Renshu asked and looked away. He was surprised to see her again in such a short time.

The last time she visited, she had left without a word. It seems like it was becoming a habit of hers to shop up without notice and leave the same way.

That was a bad habit.

Shi Wenqian was annoyed seeing that the troublemaker was back. The wedding would be taking place tomorrow, what did she come here to do after leaving in a feet of anger the other day?

"To have breakfast with you." Zhang Liling replied and went to make room for herself at the dining table.

Zhang Renshu glared at her and continued to eat as she looked at the dishes on the table.

"Wow! You all are having something I have craving for some time now." Liling said while giving the food on the table a scrutinizing gaze while rubbing her fingers together.

Nodding, she lifted her head with a smile plastered on her face. "I will have some kidney beans. Maybe, I will get to have healthy ones to be able to transplant one to dad in case he develops a problem with his later on."

Getting her order, the maid standing at the side stepped forward with a small while ceramic bowl plate and scooped some cooked sweet red kidney beans into it before dropping it before her.

"Are you praying for me to develop issues with my kidneys?" Zhang Renshu frowned while looking at her like she was his greatest enemy.

"Hahaha..." Liling covered her mouth with the back of her hands. "Dad, why would you think so far. It's just that in life, anything can happen so I'm just looking at for you. These days, it's difficult to find a match."

Picking up a table spoon, she scooped some of the red kidney beans and sent it into her mouth. "Since I am your biological daughter, I am one hundred percent certain that we could be a match."

From her seat, Shi Wenqian who was playing with her table spoon, glanced her way. Just talking about kidney transplant and being a biological child, kept her on her toes.

Why this sudden conversation?

Zhang Renshu groaned and went back to eating his food. "As if you really care about me."

Zhang Liling smiled and glanced at him. "Dad, you know very well how much I care about you. And you know I would never be able to hide my intentions and feelings. I am good at not holding back, just like right now, you all can tell that I am in a good mood."

"Do you mind sharing this good news with us cause I don't think you came because of my wedding tomorrow." Zhang Mingyu said from the side.

"Wedding?" Liling turned to face him with a slight frown on her face, but the next second, she covered it up with a smile. "Omo! I almost forgot about your wedding because of my happiness. Something more important than your wedding is happening, so I was carried away. Hahaha... Forgive me."

At that moment, Shi Wenqian who hadn't said a word was pissed. She could tell through her stepdaughter's cunning ways that she was up to no good.

Unable to take her roundabout manner of speaking, she slammed her spoon on the table.

Ignoring her, Liling asked the servant to give her some tomato soup. "Wow! This soup is red like fresh blood. Did you add artificial colouring?"

"No Ma'am. We got some very special red tomato fruits from a new farm and the chef added some tomato paste whole cooking." The maid explained after scooping a spoon of the soup in a bowl for her.

"I have never eaten a soup this red before. I almost mistook it for fresh blood. This soup must be good for my heart." Liling laughed without a care.

"Zhang Liling!" Shi Wenqian turned toward her direction immediately. "Are you done trying to disgust us during breakfast?"

The woman was not pleased and had a hard time holding back.

"Excuse me, my words are not disgusting. Who hasn't seen blood before? It just like how Mingyu bleeds nonstop every time he gets inju..."

"Zhang Liling!" Shi Wenqian's eyes flew open as her heart rate increased. "Watch your tongue." She warned. "I might have to drive you out of my house for being insolent."
