Feeling all of the strength coursing throughout his body earlier be reduced to next to nothing within a matter of seconds, Valyr began to wryly smile as his appearance returned to that of his player avatar.

Heading to a stream he found nearby to confirm that his hair had turned light gray and his eyes had turned gold, the young man let out a faint sigh of relief as he returned to where he placed all of the items he brought out.

"Now then… what should I start with first?" As this question left his mouth, Valyr briefly took a look at the remaining duration he had for [Soul Shift] to be usable, quickly finding out that he spent roughly a third of it just to prepare everything.

Reminding himself to use the skill more sparingly from now on, it was only then did the young man fully focus his attention on the items he brought out, pondering as to which order he should use or consume all of them.

"Well, it only makes sense that I should go for the set of Basic Reinforcement Elixir first." Fortunately, it did not take long for him to come up with a rough guide on what elixirs to use first.

After all, almost all of the elixirs he brought out for his player self to consume were items that he'd already consumed back then as his NPC self. With that, he already knew what kind of side effects he'd have to deal with in exchange for their effects.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

Downing the vials of Basic Reinforcement Elixir one by one, Valyr simultaneously began to feel both a cooling sensation, as well as a burning sensation spread throughout the entirety of his body.

Although the areas where the two sensations clashed briefly made him feel discomfort, by the time the sensations subsided, his body began to feel like it contained multiple times more strength than ever.

"With this, I now have stats exceeding that of a peak Rank 0 class holder." Taking a look at his status screen, Valyr let out a faint chuckle as he thought about how he was getting excited over such a minuscule improvement.

Of course, it was only minuscule when compared to the amount of stats he gained as an NPC. n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

Allocating all of his unused stat points on INT for the meantime, the young man then returned his attention back to the remaining elixirs.

"With the Basic Reinforcement Elixirs now done, I now have to choose between the tincture, the pill and the vial, the fruit, or the Constitution Refinement Elixir."

"Considering how both items take into consideration the distribution of my stats, I suppose it would be better to save the tincture and the elixir near the end," muttered Valyr to himself, recalling their descriptions in detail.

"With that, I have to choose either to take the pill and the vial first, or the fruit first."

"Hmm…" Closing his eyes for a bit as the gears in his mind turned, Valyr eventually decided that he would take the pill and the vial first.

After all, just like the set of Basic Reinforcement Elixir, the True Rebirth Pill and the Mystic Vial would raise all of his stats evenly.

…Although it did come at the cost of rendering him unconscious for a while.

"Huuu…" Moving all of the remaining items he had yet to use closer to a nearby tree, Valyr let out a calming breath as he began to lean on the tree, preparing everything beforehand to make sure all of the items wouldn't be stolen while he was unconscious.

Giving himself all the time he needed to enter a tranquil state, the young man let out yet another calming breath as he covered the remaining items with his body.

Then, as if he were eating a piece of chewing gum, he then placed the True Rebirth Pill into his mouth, causing it to melt as its effects gradually spread throughout the entirety of his body.

"…Mmph!"

However, rather than be greeted by a pleasant sensation or a sensation similar to what he experienced with the Basic Reinforcement Elixirs, Valyr was instead greeted by a sensation he'd forgotten he experienced when he consumed the True Rebirth Pill for the first time.

"Bleeeerrrggh…" With nausea overwhelming all of his senses at the same time, it was no surprise that the young man was forced to vomit out the contents of his stomach on the side, briefly feeling as if he'd woken up from his worst hangover to date.

Glancing at the black mass he'd been vomiting out, only to get a faint whiff of the stench it exuded, Valyr decided to close his eyes as he allowed the pill to continue doing its magic, which it eventually began to do so after a minute of vomiting had passed.

Swoosh!

Feeling a soothing sensation course throughout his body the moment he stopped feeling an intense bout of nausea, the young man inwardly let out a wide sigh of relief as he knew he'd endured the worst part of consuming the True Rebirth Pill.

Allowing the soothing sensation to continue doing its work, a series of notification sounds soon echoed throughout Valyr's mind the moment it began to disappear, bringing along with it a feeling of newfound strength welling up within his body.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

[Due to the effects of the True Rebirth Pill, you have gained the passive skill 'Enhanced Mana'.]

[Due to the effects of the True Rebirth Pill, you have gained the passive skill 'Enhanced Vitality'.]

[…]

[Due to the effects of the True Rebirth Pill, you have gained the following stats: +80 VIT, +80 STR, +80 AGI, +80 DEX, +80 INT, +80 WIS, +80 PER, and +80 LUK.]

Reading through the notifications he received, Valyr had a wide grin on his face after seeing that the effects of the True Rebirth Pill were the same as before, giving him a massive 80 point boost to all of his stats.

Aside from that, it gave him the same two skills that slightly boosted his HP and MP, as well as access to the same two hidden stats he already had close to 50 points of as an NPC.

"I was already expecting it, but the fact that I now have two hidden stats while still not having chosen a class is… insane," muttered the young man to himself, finding it unreal that his stats were already nearing the triple digit mark while still being at Rank 0.

Then again, although this thought made him more curious as to how strong he'd become by the time he was done consuming all of the items he prepared, Valyr swiftly calmed himself down.

"I've only consumed two of the items I've prepared so far. I still have a lot more to go through," reminded the young man to himself, closing his eyes for a bit before picking up the Mystic Vial.

"…Bottoms up."

I am reminded that Valyr is ridiculously overpowered.
