John read through the description of each skill and item before deciding to give inspect a try on the three in front of him.

John read the information and his mouth fell open. 

The two male elves' stats were crazy for only being level ten, he figured it must have something to do with that 'Elite' word next to their name. 

As for Mossy he could not find out anything he did not already know, her level must be over level 10. 

"What's wrong Kid? If you keep your mouth open like that, you're going to swallow a bug." Mossy asked. 

"Sorry I just used inspect on you and it could not find out anything about you." John admitted. 

Mossy giggled before answering. 

"Of course, I am far more powerful than you are after all and that's only the most basic inspect to help you find the right herbs I need." 

"I'm afraid I don't really know much about herbs, am I supposed to just wander around Inspecting everything that grows out of the ground till I find the ones you want?" John asked. 

"Hmm you have a point, ok here." Mossy said before pulling a book out of thin air that made John surprised. 

(Must be the inventory he thought) He thought. 

"Here you go kid one 'encyclopedia of common herbs and where to find them'" Mossy said before handing John the book.

"Thanks," John said before thinking. 

(Inventory) 

The inventor window appeared showing the bread and water still in there, he then tried pushing the book into the window and it vanished from his hand before appearing on the window display as a book icon. 

"Cool it worked." John said out loud after getting the idea he could open the inventory by just thinking about the word since Mossy used it before without saying anything. 

"Ok kid off you go, come back here when you finish and find these two so they can let me know your back." Mossy instructed. 

"Wait, you're not coming with me?" John asked as the quest description only said to help Mossy not do it himself. 

"What sort of a test would it be if I had you tagging along to help me, plus I have other stuff to do." Mossy replied with a cheeky smile. 

"What if I get attacked out in the forest? I don't even have a weapon." 

"You made it all the way here without a weapon? What did you just drop from the sky or something kid?" Mossy asked while the two guards also looked surprised. 

"Something like that I guess." John answered offhandedly. 

"Well, we can't go give you a weapon since you can't even enter the village yet, just don't stray too far from the village and stay near the stream since the herbs will be near there and you should be fine." Mossy advised. 

"Fine." John sighed before turning to leave and saying. 

"I will try to finish as fast as possible." 

After which John headed back towards the forest path he came along and when he got to the stream, he started walking along it slowly. 

"Hmm I have the book to help me find the herbs but what are the herbs?" John suddenly thought out loud. 

"Maybe the quest can tell me more."

"Ah there we go, ok let's see Peacebloom and Silverleaf." John mumbled, opening his inventory and selecting the 'Encyclopedia of common herbs and where to find them' before looking for them in the book. 

"Ah here we go, it says they're both fairly commonly found mixed in with normal grass, peacebloom is mainly white with a yellow bud and green stalk while silverleaf is all green and looks like a long leaf." 

As John started to explore, he used his Inspect skill some more.

"Well, I guess there is not much info to tell about those items, but why does it identify poop?" 

John kept walking and searching around until he saw a leaf that seemed to be growing out of the ground with the grass before casting inspect on it.

"Ah there we go, now what? it said herb gathering was a passive skill, so I guess I just try to gather the herb?" 

John took out the trowel from his inventory and bent down before sticking it into the ground next to the herb and yanking it out.

"Shit," John said before getting up and looking around to see if he could see any more. 

"Ah there's one," he said before moving over to it. 

This time he tried being more careful and carefully dug the herb out.

"Nice" John said with a smile as he got back up and went to look for more herbs. 

A few minutes later he saw what he thought might be Peacebloom and used inspect.

"Nice" he said walking over to it when suddenly he heard what sounded like an old air raid siren they used to use before the Genesis Agreement and then Tia's voice sounded.
