“What? Are you kidding me? One person can smash through one hundred and fifty meters of concrete and rebar? Is he Superman?”

The middle-aged man simply did not believe it.

"Sir, perhaps that is indeed the case," replied the operator with a bitter tone.

The middle-aged man took a deep breath and looked at the multi-directional surveillance screens of Sector 7. Through the haze of dust, a figure was faintly visible.

“Damn, could it be those damned freaks?”

He muttered angrily under his breath, his tone filled with discrimination and hatred.

And he was none other than William Stryker, the mastermind behind the establishment of this base.

From the screens, Stryker saw his soldiers gradually surrounding Sector 7. His eyes, behind his glasses, flickered briefly as he glanced at the black-haired Asian woman next to him, her face expressionless and clad in a black leather coat.

“Come with me.”

After speaking, he left the control room with the Asian woman and several fully armed soldiers, hurrying towards Sector 7.

However, by the time they reached Sector 7, the battle had already begun. It was less a battle and more a massacre.

The encircling soldiers were numerous, around sixty or seventy, each armed with guns, including powerful firearms like M4 carbines. Facing the attacker, these soldiers coldly pulled their triggers, the dense bullets creating a lethal crossfire designed to shred anyone to pieces.

However, what terrified these soldiers was that the bullets had no effect; the enemy had already vanished.

Instead, like a flash of lightning, a black figure wreaked havoc across the field, and in an instant, the bodies of the soldiers were thrown through the air, dead before they hit the ground, either with crushed necks or caved-in chests.

The operator in the control room was nearly popping his eyes out at the sight, stunned.

But when he noticed William Stryker hurrying to Sector 7, he snapped out of his shock, intending to report through the communicator. However, by then, Stryker with the black-haired Asian woman and several soldiers had already reached Sector 6.

They ran right into the attacker, Bi Xiao.

As soon as they met, several soldiers immediately raised their guns at Bi Xiao, while the Asian woman next to him stretched out her arms, long metal claws emitting a chilling aura.

Stryker, seeing Bi Xiao dressed in a black trench coat and shirt, wearing a round hat and black gloves, resembling an English gentleman, was even more surprised by Bi Xiao's young face.

“Who are you?”

Stryker didn't ask his soldiers where they were, why they didn't stop Bi Xiao; he clearly knew that since the other had come from Sector 7 to Six, his soldiers were either subdued or killed.

“Why do you know about my base?”

Stryker stared intently at the boy, trying to glean the information he wanted from his gaze and expression.

To his disappointment, all he saw was disgust and a murderous intent.

He was puzzled, not recalling having provoked such a person. Could it be a friend or relative of an Asian mutant he had once captured?

Bi Xiao had no interest in verbal sparring; he moved in an instant.

His figure blurred, and in a blink, he was standing right in front of Stryker. The Asian woman reacted quickly, yelling angrily, her sharp spikes aimed straight at Bi Xiao's head, but in the eyes of everyone, Bi Xiao did not even flinch, and the woman's chest seemed to take a heavy blow, a muffled thud sounding as she was sent flying back into a wall about ten meters behind, which dented inward and cracked around her strangely embedded form.

At that moment, several soldiers finally reacted, aiming their guns at Bi Xiao and pulling the triggers, but their fate was the same as the woman’s; though Bi Xiao moved, he was too fast, almost inconceivably so, impossible to track.

After a momentary blur, the soldiers were already dead, collapsing to the ground with several muffled sounds.

This sudden horrifying scene caused Stryker’s pupils to dilate, and he couldn’t help sweating as he stiffly turned to glance at the dead soldiers on the ground, then at the Asian woman still twitching in the wall.

Taking a deep breath, he finally looked at Bi Xiao.

“No matter what you want, as long as you spare me, I can give you anything—money, power, women.”

“I hope you can make an offer that satisfies me.”

After saying this, Bi Xiao gently pushed Stryker, leading him towards the control room.

Stryker dared not resist, helplessly leading the way ahead, his mind racing.

He pondered the obvious reason this Asian boy had for breaking into the base: to save someone or to kill?

Judging from the abilities displayed, Stryker was almost certain that only a high-level mutant could accomplish such feats, particularly those involving such rapid physical movement.

Bi Xiao had said he hoped for a satisfactory price, which was the only thing preventing Stryker from feeling utterly hopeless. Otherwise, in utter despair, he would have certainly commanded the activation of the self-destruct system.

Bi Xiao, aware of Stryker’s character, had made his statement accordingly, waiting until they reached the control room. Ahead was a massive, unique metal door that wouldn't open without a password or William Stryker's command.

“Open the door!”

Noticing Bi Xiao’s instructive gaze, Stryker hesitated for a moment before speaking to the camera in the corner ahead.

At that moment, the metal door was finally unlocked.
