Chapter 94: Lava Giants
"He's my friend, go away, I still have something I want to talk to him about," Princess Charlotte replied, signaling the little prince to leave.
The latter was getting confused.
Friends? How could they be friends?
As far as he remembered, Princess Charlotte was not friends with any guy in the real world.
Even in this game, her relationships with others were always those between subordinates and superiors. She was not friends with anyone except those she knew in the real world like Jenny, a special group of people who could be friends with her.
Most of them were specialized talents.
Aldric, on the other hand, was just a student. He didn't have a big name, which meant he wasn't a special talent.
Prince Charles was becoming more and more suspicious.
Even now he was being asked to leave.
Couldn't he hear their conversation?
"Sis, you?" Prince Charles who was filled with confusion could not help but question Princess Charlotte.
However, the latter waved her hand to him again.
This was the second order.
Despite feeling unwilling, the little prince had no choice but to leave.
His mood was clearly chaotic now.
He kept staring back.
In the end, he approached Hunter.
Since he already knew he was a student at the University of London, so he wanted to know if Hunter knew about him.
"Aldric, please forgive him. He is young and tends to be aggressive. I hope you don't take offense," Princess Charlotte said in a gentle tone after Charles left.
Aldric wanted to sigh hearing her apologize.
"Your Highness, don't worry too much, how could I be angry with Prince Charles," he replied.
From afar, everyone was staring at Aldric who was chatting with Princess Charlotte.
Fortunately, they didn't know that she was the princess.
They just assumed she was a woman with a certain identity.
This could not be said for Hunter. He knitted his eyebrows many times.
"Uncle Hunter!" Charles called out to him as he arrived in front of him.
"I heard from that man that she is a student at the University of London. I wonder if you know him?" he asked.
"I don't know him personally, but I have seen him," Hunter replied.
"Who is he? What is his background?" Prince Charles asked Hunter new questions after hearing that he had seen her.
Hunter smiled wryly at that.
"I don't know anything about him. After all, there are too many students at the university," he replied.
"It's just that I heard he's very popular even though he doesn't try to stand out. Maybe it's because of his looks, so there are many women who like him." He explained what he knew.
Prince Charles was silent at that, as if he was pondering then looked at Aldric and Charlotte again.
'That's impossible.' He instantly refuted the strange speculations that came to his mind.
Who was Charlotte? She was a princess.
How could she be attracted to a man just because he was handsome.
She was not like ordinary people who looked at things with only mortal eyes.
Among humans, she was a swan among sparrows.
'Or maybe he's so strong in Magician Online that the sister are privileging him?'
Charles thought of other speculations, but he was not so sure.
At this moment, the ark had already entered the area of the volcanic mountains.
The night was very bright in this area because of the flames that continued to emanate from the volcanoes.
The ark was flying much lower than when Aldric had traveled to Heaven Valley City. It was not far from the top of the volcanoes.
The scenery was naturally clearer and Aldric noticed many monsters below.
They had stone bodies, some with four to six arms.
Most interestingly their bodies had some kind of path where lava flowed.
Of course, they had a large size for humans.
They were giants.
As he observed them, Aldric obtained brief information about them from the game system.
They were apparently called Lava Giants.
"You know, the Lava Giants are a tribe of enormous monsters. They live all over this volcanic mountain range, having the most members. Their numbers must be more than ten million. It's just that, they would become weak if they left this area, so they don't go anywhere." Princess Charlotte explained about them to Aldric.
"Ohhh, they seem to be very strong, what makes them weak outside this volcanic area? Are their bodies very vulnerable to different environments?" Aldric found that confusing so he asked.
"There is no information on why. The people who investigated this did not find the exact cause. However, there is an interesting rumor. You must not have heard it since you are new to Heaven Valley City." Princess Charlotte replied.
"What rumor?" Aldric again.
At this moment, he saw the princess' gaze fixed on the volcanic mountains below.
"It is said that this entire volcanic mountain range is the back of a Lava Giant," she said in a somewhat low voice.
Aldric's heart trembled slightly at that.
"How is that possible," he said spontaneously.
"Not only that, rumor has it that the giant is still alive. It's just hibernating," the princess added.
Aldric was a little scared to hear that. Still alive? If it woke up, who could stop it?
He looked at the entire area of this volcanic mountain range which was so vast that his eyes could not see the end of the area.
However, then he remembered about the dragon corpse in his Space Artifact.
It was much larger, covering a quarter of the world.
Compared to that dragon, the giant could be considered a small beetle.
"I hope it will hibernate forever," Aldric said.
"Mm..." His eyes then fell on a volcano that was much larger than any other volcano.
Around the volcano, he saw quite a few arks in flight.
"We've finally arrived," said Princess Charlotte.
Their ark was also heading towards the volcano, approaching quietly but still attracting great attention due to its size which was much larger than the arks of almost all the groups.
Aldric saw the city lord's flying ark flying in a corner, as if it wanted to be alone.
He couldn't observe it in too much detail because it was quite far away.
However, among the other arks, there was one that made him show a strange look.
This was because he saw the Dortmund Family aboard that ark.
