Jin entered the Wizard's place alongside Kai. As soon as they entered the building, they were placed into the Wizard's domain. A place of white nothingness. You would expect a void to be blackbut this void wasn't black. This one was white. White spanning across the entirety of the area to no end.

The Wizard then appeared before Jin and Kai.

"Greetihgs, Hunters," The Wizard clasped his hands behind his back.

"Hi ..."

"Hey, Wiz."

The Wizard frowned. "I summoned you here because we have trouble. Last night the village had lost twelve people, and we have no idea where their bodies are. They just went missing. A citizen had reported a trail of blood to me this morning. The trail ended in a weird way as if the person had been teleported."

The Wizard peered at Jin.

'The mole could be Jin,' the Wizard thought, then he started to speak again, "Imagine dragging a body that left a trail of blood only for that trail to just disappear. Sure, you could just sling the body over your shoulder and carry itbut that wouldn't stop the trail of blood. It wouldn't stop the bleeding from leaving drops behind. The people found not a drop of blood after the trail, not even after walking thirty meters in the direction of the trail."

Kai folded his arms. "Could it be the use of a teleportation ability?"

"It's likely," the Wizard said, "but we haven't seen the mole take bodies with him before. This is new. He never disposes of the bodies."

Kai looked back at Jin. "The mole wouldn't happen to be, right Jin?"

Jin kept his eyes to slits. "Nope," he said, "I mean, I would want that much funbut it's not me, unfortunately."

Kai shook his head and looked at the Wizard again. "We need to find a way we can trap the mole. He's been pestering us for six whole weeks. Too long."

The Wizard snapped his fingers, and suddenly the background changed. They were in a fancy house. Chairs around a table upon which cups of steaming coffee was placed.

"Have a seat," The Wizard said.

Kai sat down opposite the Wizard.

Jin sat down next to Kai.

Then, the Wizard snapped his fingers again.

Five more people appeared in the room, occupying all of the chairs around the wooden table.

The first of the men was the greatest Hunter in the village, Earl. Earl was tall and possessed a powerful buff build even when sitting, and extremely long white hair. Then, there was Rosita, a woman of Spanish origin, the second greatest Hunter. The others were lesser Hunters, William and Gerardo.

The Wizard held a cup of tea in his hand, carrying it closer to his mouth. "Sorry for summoning each and every one of you all on such short notice, but we have a huge matter at hands that needs to be resolved as soon as possible before this village becomes a thing of the past."

"That is not a problem, your Wizardry," said Earl with strong sonorous voice, "but I must admit that you stopped me from capturing a theif here at the village."

Willaim scoffed. "And you stopped me from getting a good morning of sleep. You're not supposed to be bothered after a long night of restlessness."

"I thought you guys said I wasn't going to have be interrupted from my games of chess!" snapped Gerardo.

"Ah, shut up," Rosita said, "it's not as if you two worth much. Let's face it, chicos, the only reason you're here is because of your abilities."

"The same goes for you, bitch!"

"Guys, settle down!" The Wizard shouted.

Eveyone quelled themselves and looked at the Wizard.

The Wizard took a sip out of his coffee and started again, "I'm sure you all know about the mole. He's been stealing our goods, finding ways to ruin our stocks, killing our most valuable people, and even committing occasional arson. We all know about him and his deeds."

Everyone nodded at the Wizard.

One didn't, and that was Jin. Eyes. A few gave their pair to Jin, just recognizing him. Earl furrowed his brows at Jin. Jin simply looked at him in an apathetic way. He couldn't care less. Earl scoffed and looked at the Wizard again.

"I'm getting desperate to find that mole," The Wizard said, "he could be one of our villagers, he could be me, he could be youone of us is the mole. Whoever it is needs to be found right now!" He started to shake. "Ten days. That's how much time I'm giving you Hunters. You have ten days to find the mole. If you want, you can get in teams of two or three, but will have to split the big reward equally among your comrades. I don't care. Just find that mole, and I'll give you great power and a great reward."

William rubbed his hands together. "What might that big reward be?" He rubbed his hands together.

The Wizard smirked. "That I cannot yet disclose. It's a surprise."

Gerardo looked at the Wizard. "Can't you use your third eye to find the mole, your Wizardry?"

"I'm afraid I cannot," The Wizard sighed, "I need to have an item that belongs to him for it to work. Without that prerequisite, it's impossible to find the mole with the Third eye spell."

"I see ..."

"Alright, Hunters. You're free to leave, just don't come back in seven days without that mole captured!"

"Got it, sir."

"Understood."

"I'm gonna capture that mole for you, Wizard."

"Seven days? Pfft. I'd only need one tenth of a single day."

"Let's get that mole!"

***

Jin and Kai walked the streets of the village together. Kai walked slowly with his hand down, Jin walked, finally with a shirt, his head keeping raised.

Kai looked at Jin. "Do you want to team up?" He asked, hoping Jin would answer 'yes'.

"No," Jin said, "but if you want, you can join me. I'll just be taking all the credit due."

"What do you mean by that?" Kai raised a brow.

"I'll be doing most of the work anyway, so," Jin said, "I should be attributed as the person to receive most of the prize and not some fifty percent. But it totally depends on what that prize is. If it's moneyI wouldn't see why I can't split it equally you. But it's literal power," Jin's eyes glowed green, "I don't think I would be able to give you even an eight."

Kai heeded the look on Jin's face. Then, he looked away, still concerned.

"You can join me, Kai." Jin said. "You seem like you're beyond broke. So I'll help you get there financially, okay? And I'm not doing it out of kindness, just so you know. The time will come when you must repay me. So far," Jin eyed him, "you owe me a life."

Kai scoffed and then looked away.

"Alright, Jin. I'm your partner," Kai forced a smile, still not looking at Jin.

"Good for you, man; it was a no brainer, after all."

It grew quiet for a while, until Kai spoke again.

"We'll need to use our abilities to find the mole. The mole seems to have teleportation. Maybe invisibility and shapeshifting as well. Too similar to you. I wouldn't even be surprised if it's you. But that would make no sense since we found you about four days ago far outside of this village."

"Indeed," Jin said, "and for you information, it's just assumed the mole possesses those abilities. We don't know what they are for sure. If we hope to catch the mole, we can't expect to make bold assumptions alone."

"I know," Kai sighed, "the mole's a danger to us as well. My sister is always home. I can't even sleep without an eye opened with that murderer running around. I think the Wizard should just confront everyone in the village. I'm sure we'll find the mole then."

"That's unlikely," Jin said, "how can the Wizard just look someone in the eye and make him confess he's a murderer? That wouldn't work. We need to catch him in the act."

Kai raised a brow. "How are we gonna do that?"

"Simple," Jin said. Suddenly, clones walked out of his bodymore than twenty of them.

They started walking up to random people in the village, and copying their forms and physique. One by one, the clones took the form of villagers. Then, they started walking about the village.

Jin now had fortypairs of twentyeyes all around the village.

Kai was surprised. He hadn't expected Jin to do this. He used his deceptive abilities to get eyes all around the village. 'This is clever,' Kai thought, 'it can the work. We just have to wait now. Wait for trouble. If mole mistakes one of the clones for a villager and attacks him, we'll know who the mole. If he doesn't attack a random villager, which is unlikely of him, we still have cameras all around the village now. We'll find him. This guy ... he's something else."

Jin looked at Kai, smirking. "Kai? Wanna go to the Inn? Cloning and shapeshifing more than twenty times make hungry hungrier than I thought."
