Chapter 186: Insane Battle [Part 2]

Chapter 186: Insane Battle [Part 2]

The Wizardhovering in the air, no surface underfootopened his eyes and the third eye vanished. He bent his fingers freakishly, spun around and started charging an attack. Air sucked in to his hand. He suddenly thrust the hand forward. There was a ball of air darting toward Jin down at the surface.

Jin was at the surface, slumping against the rocky, grey stone wall. He peered down at his injured hand. He lost two fingers: his index and thumb. He was in pain, but he kept his eyes slit. Blood gushed from the hand. He needed to stop the bleeding somehow.

The air ball went straight for Jin at the speed of sound. But he vanished just in time. He was expecting an attack. He teleported about four meters away alone which in turn led to to the air ball hitting the wall against which he leaned a second ago.

The air ball hit the wall, and sent rock and stone pitching and scattering sporadically. It was enough to bore a hole in the thick, heavy wall. Jin was too close to the explosion despite having teleported. He was sent pitching away. A rock hit him behind the head, hard. Before he could collapse. He teleported to his feet.

The Wizard was shocked. He cursed. "Jesus christ who was born in a manger, fuck!"

There was a hole the size of ten Jin's stacked on top each other. The Wizard narrowed his eyes. "Jin wasn't supposed to mo" he paused, narrowing his eyes again, "but that attack wasn't even a powerful one. Am I that OP? Come on, wall!"

The Wizard's face grew serious. 'How did he dodge the attack? It was a bit faster than sound,' he thought, 'wait ... teleportation isn't supposed to be that fast. There's usually a second or two of delay! The only way there can be only a milisecond of delay is if you choose to teleport a meter or two. I'd say Jin teleported three meters away. It wasn't enough to stop himself from getting hit by the explosion. But it was enough to avoid a direct hit. If he had gone for a good ten meters, he would have gotten hit for sure. This kid knows about teleportation. What else does he know about?'

The Wizard felt a presence. Then more. He smirked. "So you have returned for more pain."

Suddenly, a dagger went hurtling toward the Wizard. The Wizard rose his hand; and suddenly, the dagger was knocked in the opposite direction by a powerful shockwave.

Suddenly, the dagger vanished, leaving the Wizard confused. He felt a presence from behind. He quickly performed a full body shockwave like the first time: the time he got three clones. There was a violent shaking, and a ring of spanning air was released from the Wizard's body.

After performing the full body shockwave; he turned around and saw the lacerated, tattered body of a clone, falling. It was like a pulp. Pink flesh was conspicuous. The clone's body suddenly disintegrated turning into steam.

The Wizard frowned. "That's not how Voids die. These are clones ... I know that. But your blood was a different story. This is much like human blood," he turned in the air, looking for Jin, "but it isn't fully human blood. It's a mix. A mix with something more. What are you, boy? I haven't seen your kind in a long, long time."

Two clones appeared in the air. One was in front of the Wizard, the other was behind. The Wizard turned such that he was facing none of them. He pushed both his hands out to the right and left as if pulling curtains open.

The clones dashed toward him in the air. The Wizard fired air in the form of balls from both his hands. The air balls went straight for both of the clones. It got one of them; but the other had dashed left and had dodged successfully.

The Wizard couldn't perform a full body shockwave in time. The clone teleported to him. The Wizard was about to teleport away but he didn't bother. He knotted his brows. He wanted to see them in action, face to face and up close.

The clone closed its hand, and a dagger manifested in it. All the Wizard's calm stemmed by the figure being unarmed was gone. The clone thrust its blade. The Wizard dashed to the right. The clone vanished.

The Wizard flew higher into the air. Suddenly, a clone appeared in front of him.

The Wizard was caught off guard. It slashed at him. He blocked with his forearm. The blade cut his arm. But he didn't lower it. He kept it raised and then thrust it forward at the clone. A giant bolt of lightning released from the Wizard's hand.

The clone was long gone. He missed. He felt a presence. He quickly dashed upward, and looked down. A clone punched air from below. The Wizard quickly raised a hand and put out a finger. He fired an air ball at the clone.

He cursed. He had missed again. He felt another presence. From above, no ... from behind him. From above and behind him! He furrowed his brows, and performed a full body shockwave. There was an explosion of air, except for in the Wizard's safe zone.

As soon as the shockwave disappeared. A dagger went straight for the Wizard's chest. And that it did. The dagger penetrated the Wizard's chest. The Wizard groaned, his eyes bulging.

Four clones appeared around the Wizard on each of his sides: the first one appeared in front, the second took the Wizard's back, the third and forth took the Wizard's right side and left side. This man was surrounded by men with the same faces.

They weren't in close radius. The Wizard wheezed. Suddenly, the dagger vanished before he could grab it. This very dagger appeared in the hand of one of these four clones. These four cloneswearing the same faces, one with an injured handweren't hovering like the Wizardthey were falling, but teleported higher every time they began to fall.

The dagger was thrown again. The Wizard blocked with his hand. The blade went right through this hand. The Wizard winced. Then the blade disappeared. He wasn't getting any time to teleport away. He had to protect his vital organs. If he just teleported away, he had to teleport where they couldn't see him. And at this moment, they were surrounding him, each of them more than fifteen meters away from him. Should the Wizard choose to teleport four meters, he'd still be in the middle of the clones, still surrounded and still perceiveable. If he teleports such that he is not amidst the cloneshe'd have to wait six seconds at most for his body to vanish.

Another blade scored a graze to the Wizard's cheek, then vanished. The Wizard sensed it coming from behind him. He quickly teleported in way that he was still in the same spot, but his body was turned. These short-distanced teleportations took only a few milisecond to perform.

The blade was still coming straight for the Wizard, now for the front of his head instead of the back now that he'd turned around. The Wizard thrust a palm forward. A wall of air pushed the dagger away, but it vanished before pitching too far.

Suddebly, the Wizard's body jolted. He received penetration to his upper back. The skin here was tough, it didn't go too deep. But it did hurt an awful lot. The blade vanished. The Wizard got confused.

The blade was coming from behind again. The Wizard spun around. The blade wasn't there. He frowned. He received penetration to his lower back. He grunted. Suddenly, the blade disappeared. The clones scored a blade to the Wizard's chest again.

The Wizard received a flurry of attacks from there. He was going insane. His face scrunched in anger. His eyes were turning white, glowing white. His clothes started to hover. A seal was broken. He cursed, still receiving blows and stabs. He didn't thought he would have to use this much of his power. Now that the second seal was gone; the village would witness a good thirty-three percent of his power.

The clones continued to attack. Now that the Wizard just hovered unmoving, they didn't keep their distances. One after the other they teleported in, slashed at the Wizard's body, and then vanished, opening their hands for another to get to use the dagger.

The clouds in the sky churned. They grew grey. Suddenly, the lightning started striking madly. Two of the clones got hit with bolts of lightning, and had become ash and then steam.

The Wizard stood there, blasting continuously. Air walls constant firing from his body, and shockwaves after each such air walls. Then, the Wizard's eyes started to regain their color. He doubled over, his hands on his knees, panting.

Suddenly, Jin appeared right above the tired Wizard with a dagger glowing green. He darted down at the Wizard, raised the dagger, and then thrust it into the Wizard's raised arm.

The Wizard looked down at his hand. The dagger was in his flesh. It sparked green. "Fuck." Suddenly, there was a massive, green gamma explosion.
