Lu Zhen felt much better as his dizziness went away; however, he still felt a little pain where the wound was.
"I am getting tired of this…" he punched at the dart and backed away to dodge two more darts.
He raised his hand, and instantly all the qi he had stored up in his body rushed to his hands.
"Verdant Whirlwind."
Lu Zhen roared as he swiped his hands like a saber.
A rotating wind force generated, growing larger by the moment until it became a huge whirlwind, swiping away all the darts.
"Got you, you bastard." A red-haired man smirked as he sat on a throne, watching Lu Zhen fend off the terrifying darts.
"Even if you are a third-stage martial artist, you are nothing compared to me."
He crossed his legs on the throne as his face twisted into a cruel smirk.
Suddenly, his facial expression changed as he looked up, ignoring the screen.
"What are you here for, Ju Ji? Has your master awakened yet?" The man asked with a strange expression as he saw the white-haired girl.
Ju Ji simply shook her head as she also stared at the screen of Lu Zhen blasting all the darts.
"He will be done soon," the man commented with an uncaring expression.
"Are you sure, Bai Yun?" Ju Ji commented, and a smirk appeared on her face.
"How many times have I said not to say my name." The man released his aura as he was about to make a small hand movement.
"Are you sure about that? After all, you must be running out of mana after creating those terrifying objects," Ju Ji's expression changed as she hurriedly stated, all the while carefully watching the man's reaction.
"Hahahahah, you are right…" the man laid down on his back, an intrigued glint in his eyes as he watched Lu Zhen's intense battle.
On the screen, Lu Zhen's whirlwind lasted for about two hours, covering all the darts as it rampaged around before it finally died down.
"Hahaha, finally the brat's qi is drained…" the man smirked with excitement. However, his inner thoughts were different.
"Damn it, I am left with a meager amount of mana. This will be difficult. However, it is worth it since I was able to defeat this bastard. I will make him my fine specimen in my experiment…" his thoughts becoming increasingly sinister.
"Are you sure?" Ju Ji said again, her smile widening.
"What do you mean? Although he might be a little more skilled than other third-stage martial artists, he is still nothing without his qi. Without qi, martial artists have stronger bodies than mortals but their combat strength goes down to at least 95%."
"You will know…" Ji Ju said as she silently watched.
The man frowned when he heard this.
"You are pushing your luck." His eyes turned cold as he sneered.
Suddenly, Ji Ju felt chills which sent a shiver down her spine. She looked back to see a huge, spiked club being swung at her.
With a "boom" sound, she was directly thrown into the wall.
Heavily injuring her, her blood stained the ground, knocking her unconscious.
"Good job. She is not worthy of me to waste my mana on her. I am very close to converting qi to mana. If that happens, I will go on a conquest to rule this world from those barbarians." The man nodded with a smile on his face as he looked at the screen where Lu Zhen had a tired expression, puffing and panting.
"Yes, master." A butler with purple hair and purple eyes bowed respectfully, putting his hands on his chest.
Lu Zhen sat in a cross-legged position as he started to meditate.
The man's eyebrows twitched when he saw this.
"Is this kid crazy? He is meditating now. Either way, you are going to the graves. I guess your last moments will be these."
"Send those animals out. That should take care of the kid." His smirk widened as he saw the girl recovering.
"Lock her up in a cage as well. Her body is just that of a child's, and she doesn't have much strength left, with her mana drained."
"Yes, master." The butler politely bowed as he nodded in understanding and dragged the injured girl away.
Lu Zhen carefully used his five senses; however, he couldn't find anything.
"Did I walk into a trap, huh…" He had already noticed that the white-haired girl had disappeared from this place.
"This will be troublesome. I need an exit right now." His eyes darted around, and his expression turned uneasy.
Suddenly, Lu Zhen heard the roar of an animal, and his ears twitched.
Roar!
"How interesting…" Lu Zhen's eyes lit up as he saw a massive tiger charging toward him at full speed. The tiger resembled an ordinary one, but it was enormous and had a muscular physique that made it look terrifying.
The aura it emitted from time to time hinted at a formidable an almost Peak third-stage martial realm realm.
"Do you really think a mere tiger can kill me?" Lu Zhen sneered as he sidestepped, narrowly avoiding the charging beast.
Quickly, Lu Zhen punched the huge lion in the gut as it landed.
The lion was sent five feet backward, barely maintaining its balance.
"This could be a healthy meal," Lu Zhen thought as he gazed at the lion with hunger in his eyes. Given the tiger's enormous size and its Peak Third-stage martial beast status, it would undoubtedly satisfy Lu Zhen's appetite.
With a leap that appeared even more berserk than the tiger itself, he pounced on the lion.
Roar!
Lu Zhen let out a deafening roar, sending shockwaves that startled the lion itself.
He unleashed his bloodline form.
His height increased, and his muscles swelled to an unprecedented size. He grew to a height of about 14 feet with bulging viens muscles that seemed like armour itself.
His sharp horns emerged from his head, and a small tail sprouted from his tailbone. Although his height was still not comparable to the lion before him, even in his Vulgrith form.
"Let's fight."
The tiger roared back with pure anger, charging at him.
Both of them charged and collided with a resounding boom.
Lu Zhen had a surprised expression when he saw the lion still standing even after crashing into him at full strength. Suddenly, the tiger pushed harder, sending Lu Zhen back a step.
Like a human, the tiger stood up, its eyes glinting with a hint of mockery. With its front paws, it crashed down on Lu Zhen, applying its entire body weight to him.
Although this action might seem like it took a long time, it happened in just a second, catching Lu Zhen off guard. However, his eyes revealed a determination even greater than that of the lion as he caught the tiger's two front paws.
"Heavy," was his thought as he felt the tiger pushing him toward the ground. The ground visibly sank under the pressure of Lu Zhen.
The tiger opened its mouth, saliva dripping from it as it looked at Lu Zhen with hunger-filled eyes.
"You want to eat me?" Lu Zhen's eyes turned even more ferocious, his eye color a mix of red and gold. "Let's see who can eat who."
His expression turned ferocious as he used his two sharp horns to attack the right paw of the tiger.
The tiger's eyes widened as it felt an instinctual sense of danger when Lu Zhen swung his head towards its legs.
The tiger wanted to retract its claws and escape, but Lu Zhen tightly caught it and sneered.
As the horn met the paw of the tiger, it was like a knife cutting through butter, cleanly slicing the lion's paw.
With a crying roar, the tiger's limbless right limb separated, causing it to lose its balance.
However, Lu Zhen didn't relent and almost instantly severed the other limb as well, mutilating the tiger's front limbs.
With a thud, the tiger fell down, its eyes filled with despair.
"Didn't you want to fight where djd your bravado go?" Lu Zhen sneered as he jumped on the tiger.
Lu Zhen opened his mouth revealing his big canine teeth as he took a bite of the tiger.
Crunch!
He took a deeper bite directly reaching its bone with some efforts and jaws strength lu zhen directly crunch down on the tiger.
The tiger cried in agony as it felt the tearing pair.
Lu Zhen chewed the meat of the lion as his mouth was covered in blood with reliesh.
The tiger watched with widened eyes as his eyes turned red from seeing lu Zhen eat his own meat.
"What didn't you want to eat me? Now I am returning the favour by eating you." Lu Zhen laughed out loud with madness reflecting in his as he chowed down on the tiger.
