Leon opened his eyes and stepped out of the capsule device, a satisfied smile creeping across his face. Everything was progressing well-the city's development was smooth, and his Knights were growing stronger by the day.

It was 7 p.m., and the room was empty. He checked his phone and saw that Lily was hanging out at a café near the hotel.

Heading to the kitchen, he pulled open the refrigerator and gulped down a large amount of water, drinking so fast that it spilled, dampening his clothes. He wiped his mouth with the back of his arm, catching his breath.

He went to the bathroom, stripped off his clothes and slid into a warm bath. The water wrapped around him like a comforting embrace, and he let out a deep sigh, closing his eyes as he relaxed.

"This feels amazing..." he whispered to himself, sinking deeper into the water.

He lay there, soaking in the warmth, letting the tension in his body melt away along with the exhaustion from all those long hours in the game.

After several minutes, he slowly opened his eyes, the heat from the bath soothing his skin. His face was calm, and he inhaled deeply, savoring the moment of peace.

He reached for a soft towel and wrapped it around himself before heading back to his room to change into fresh clothes.

Once dressed, Leon wandered into the dining room and plopped down into a chair. An unfinished pizza sat on the table, its crust sprinkled with cheese and pepperoni. He took and bit it.

To his right, a remote lay waiting, he picked it up and clicked it on. The TV flickered to life with a quiet hum.

"Let's see what progress has been made on the game," Leon muttered to himself, flipping through the channels until he landed on the one that always had the latest news about Immortal Legacy.

The screen showed a woman, an archer who also served as a reporter. "Hello, viewers. I'm sure today's update will grab your attention. As you're all aware, a major power struggle is on the horizon, and the leading guilds are preparing for the inevitable showdown," she began.

Leon leaned forward, recognizing the report's connection to Princess Alora's upcoming ascension to the throne.

"The Ass Guild, known for its elite members, is set to clash with the Shadow Wolves Guild, who boast two Champions of Gluttony. This, of course, is common knowledge by now," she said with a confident smile.

Leon's interest deepened as the reporter continued.

"But here's what you may not know," she added, her voice taking on a slightly more serious

tone.

"There are five Champions of Gluttony in Immortal Legacy. While two of them belong to the Shadow Wolves, the other three are part of the Horde of Hell Guild, based in the South East Continent. They're led by a young but incredibly talented Guild Master, and soon, the Horde of Hell will join forces with the Shadow Wolves, creating an even more formidable alliance." The reporter's voice grew more intense. "The Horde of Hell Guild has set out from the South East continent and is now making its way through Kesseon, heading toward the borders of the Dissidia Kingdom."

She glanced directly at the camera and asked, "Do you know where I am now? That's right- near Slumdon Town. Once a ghost town, abandoned by players and its residents alike, Slumdon is on the verge of revival under its new player mayor."

"The exciting part?" she continued. "The Horde of Hell Guild is expected to pass through here on their journey."

She paused for effect before adding, "What's more, there are a few members of the Ass Guild staying in Slumdon Town as we speak. I'm here to see firsthand what happens when the Horde of Hell crosses paths with them. Who knows, this might even be the site of the opening battle. I'm sure this is news you won't want to miss. Why don't we watch it unfold together in just a few hours? Stay tuned, as I'll keep you updated on this breaking story."

In fact, Maylock had mentioned this exact situation to Broken before. However, Maylock had assured him that there likely wouldn't be any major events-no wars or large-scale conflicts -despite the Horde of Hell Guild passing near Slumdon.

Leon couldn't help but feel a twinge of doubt now. The reporter's tone had been far too ominous for him to brush it off entirely.

The doorbell rang out, and moments later, Lily stepped in, wearing a casual white dress with a bag slung over her shoulder. "Hey, Leon..." she greeted, making her way over to the dining table.

Lily sat down and glanced at the television screen for a moment before speaking up. "I've been reading up on the Horde of Hell."

"So, you've been doing some research too?"

Lily nodded. "Yeah, I've been following it on social media. Everyone's talking about them. Looks like they're heading for Slumdon Town. Are you ready, in case things get messy?" Leon leaned back, taking a bite of pizza. "Maylock said there won't be a war," he replied calmly.

Lily chuckled, raising an eyebrow. "You trust him that much, huh?"

Leon paused, chewing thoughtfully before answering. "Maylock laid out some pretty solid reasons-different scenarios showing why there won't be an early war between the Horde of Hell and the Ass Guild. Still, I'll stick around Slumdon for a few hours, just in case Maylock's wrong."

For some reason, hearing the name Horde of Hell triggered something in Leon's memory. When was it?

He tried to recall the details, and finally, it came back to him. It was when he met Hazel at the mall during one of her commercial shoots. There was someone who had bumped into him, and instead of apologizing, had the nerve to blame him for it.

What was his name again? He thought. That stupid guy.

Hazel had mentioned that the guy was a Champion of Gluttony, from the Horde of Hell.

What if Maylock's prediction misses the mark because of this one factor? A factor that he didn't

account for.
