At the bottom of a deep bluish red sea, a giant sword made of an unknown material suddenly erupted with a blinding flash of golden light!

Scaring away the fish and giant sea monsters in the surrounding water, the blinding light only came to an abrupt stop when a massive world wrapped around its hilt.

However, it quickly became known that this 'world' was not actually a world. Instead, it was the tentacle of a monster so large and terrifying that even dozens of Everveil Districts could not compare to its size.

After obtaining a firm grip on the massive blade's hilt, the sword was promptly pulled into the air and slung around like a string of centrifugal force. It spun around at a speed that made both it and the tentacle look like a blur of light, and then the sword was suddenly released from its grip!

While flying upwards at multiple times the speed of light, the giant sword looked like nothing less than a dazzling star in the night sky!

However, even with such force put behind it and a progressively faster speed bordering on insanity, the sword could not reach an area that wasn't completely surrounded by water. Though, for some reason, it felt like something about that would change. But before it could, the momentum put behind the flying sword died out, and the sword energy fizzled into oblivion…

"Even with the life weapon of the All-Encompassing Realm Immortal that came searching for me, I was still unable to see an end to the bottomless chasm that keeps the world up above away from me. The Everveil Sovereign… If you are alive after so long has passed, I will make sure you dearly regret ever sealing me in the 'Endless Titan Chasm.'"

While reverberating in an ancient static-like voice, two glowing worlds suddenly materialized from the depths of the Endless Titan Chasm. However, just as fast as these world-sized eyes appeared, they vanished just as quickly.

The Endless Titan Chasm returned to deafening silence, and as the unbelievably powerful lesser creatures went back to swimming around the slumbering body of the Great Kraken Titan, something started to change. At the very upper limit of the Endless Titan Chasm, a translucent barrier began to have violent currents spread throughout its boundless area surface.

It wouldn't be long now… Not much longer before one of the Kingdom's greatest calamities once more appears in the Everveil Kingdom, ready to devour any immortals that get in its way…

Back in the upside area of the Everveil Kingdom, Azmodeus finished up his tenth E-Rank Quest. With the death of the final Grade 3 Earth Immortal Realm 'Abyssal Mole,' he decided to take a brief glance at his system interface.

"The grind doesn't simply end with just this. There are still a countless number of E-Rank Quests, and if I wish to reach the Heavenly Immortal Realm, I will need to grind those like no tomorrow!"

After getting his feet to follow his thoughts, he left an underground tunnel area and returned to the Immortal Hunter Branch Building. He swiftly entered the center area of the Royal Capital and found his way right back to Ru Ling, the receptionist, planning to turn in his quests and take on a bunch more.

"I see you have once again made astounding progress," she said smilingly. While taking the scanner away from his wrist, she was nothing but smiles.

"Yes…"

Still adjusting to the constant friendliness of this receptionist, Azmodeus found it challenging to even keep up appearances. Still, he wasn't someone who was rude to people who helped him obtain more loot; therefore, he tried his best to accommodate to this woman's bubbly aura.

Noticing his attempts at adjusting to her mood, Ri Ling giggled softly. Using her other hand, she pointed at the far-off quest board. "Don't you have some more quests to do?" She asked laughingly.

"Mhmm…"

Taking this opportunity as his chance to escape this conversation, Azmodeus slipped away from the receptionist's desk and snatched up a few dozen quests.

While watching him skedaddle out of there, Ru Ling couldn't stop herself from leaning her chin against her hands and staring at him leave. As she looked at his receding figure, it was unknown what was going through her mind-

"You like him or what?"

Interrupting her pleasant thoughts, her friend, Bo Ning, brushed up against her shoulder with a cheeky expression.

"...I already told you that it isn't like that…"

"Yeah, sure, sure~ Whatever you say~"

After giggling mischievously, Bo Ning returned to her post and attended to the customers on the other side of the counter.

"I already told her that wasn't how it was… Humph…!"

Ru Ling puffed out her cheeks and pouted a little, staring at where Azmodeus was last standing. However, seeing as he was already long gone, she returned to her job.

Time passed like the sand in an hourglass, and before anyone knew it, a whole two weeks had flown by in the Eternal Jade Heavens Immortal Realm.

While going from E-Rank Quests to D-Rank Quests and then C-Rank Quests, Azmodeus ascended straight to the Grade 9 Heavenly Immortal Realm!

He treated the Immortal Realms as if they were mere stepping stones! And with his rank up into C-Rank arriving today, it was finally time to begin taking on Golden Immortals!

If he could become a Golden Immortal himself, then all the better!
