[Introducing the FINAL perk!]

All participants trial looked at the screens in front of them the moment the golden door that led them to this sublevel suddenly closed.

As it said, it was the final killing perk they would be getting in this trial since the next floor would be floor 0, where they would have to fight the warden and hopefully escape this nightmarish prison and trial.

And so... after a few seconds... IT appeared.

[New Perk: "Wheel Target"!]

[A giant wheel will appear in front of everyone, this wheel will contain the faces of the four remaining participants]

'...?' Stark couldn't understand where this was going, the only times he had to use a wheel was for his class.

[The wheel will spin in front of everyone, and the person selected by the wheel will be the target!]

"..." Kokoro and Sora didn't talk.

"Oh..." Akira scratched his chin.

"=)" the clone kept smiling.

[The person selected as the target by the wheel is going to be the 'Killing Target' of the others!]

[Basically... if someone is selected as the target, and you kill them, not only will the door to floor 0 will be opened, but the warden will also have half of its life reduced, plus each of the alive participants will be getting two rewards each!]

This was an incredible offer: in exchange for one life, they would be almost guaranteed success in the trial.

But... would the target stay still?

No... obviously not... they would surely attack and kill in hopes of eliminating the people that were chasing them.

Yuri was dead, killed by someone (probably Akira), which meant he wouldn't hesitate for a single second to kill anyone.

And so, before anyone could even think deeply about any of this...

[The wheel has appeared!]

A giant crimson wheel with the text "Domination" written in white above it appeared.

On it were four sections: the faces of Akira, Kokoro, Sora and Stark.

But before the wheel could even spin...

"MOON DOMAIN!" Akira activated one of his legendary skills, and a sphere-like domain surrounded them all as he pulled his shining silver katana.

"If any of you move, I'm cutting them in half, you are in my domain, so you can't avoid the slashes and I can attack from any angle," Akira spoke, his face full of determination and ruthlessness, "I'm killing the target then we can get the fuck out of here..."

"And what if you're the target?" Stark spoke, he was the only one who could hold a decent conversation after all, as Kokoro used her tablet and Sora didn't speak at all.

"..." Akira seemed to think, "Then I guess we'll find the key to floor 0 and the four of us will challenge the warden fairly, I still need you folks for that."

"Kind of hypocritical, don't you think?" Stark smiled, he was in the [Moon Domain] but was still strangely confident.

"Doesn't matter, you are all in my domain, so if I wanted I could slash you all right now, just accept the rules," Akira seemed to be determined to make things go his way.

"..."

"..."

"..."

No one said anything, and Stark just kept smiling as he shrugged.

Akira truly wanted to control this entire trial it seemed, otherwise why would he threaten them this much even though he already had lots of rewards (5) from killing others and opening the doors (as well as stealing one from Yuri).

[Spinning the wheel! Good luck!]

And so the giant crimson wheel began to spin by itself, turning so fast the faces of the participants were but a blur.

~TICK, TICK, TICK~

No one talked as they all observed the wheel slow down, the anticipation in the air growing thicker by the second as EVERYONE wondered who the unfortunate soul that would have to face off against the other three would be.

~TICK.... TICK...~

The wheel was slow enough to be able to see the faces of the participants.

'...'

"=)" Stark's clone was still smiling, almost as if it knew who would be selected.

And so...

~TAP~

It tapped Stark's shoulder and gestured for him to run with its head.

"...?" Stark was confused, after all it wasn't certain who would be chosen as he had a 1/4 chance to become the target, and he was sure that the trial would be fair with all participants as it equally wanted to see them dead.

But... once he turned his head back toward the wheel, wanting to check where it was currently as it would important…

He saw IT... THE panel that he wished he would have never seen in this situation.

[Talent: Chosen One, activated!]

'...!' Stark instantly realized what this meant.

[Chosen One] would only activate in such situations to help him out or to do something bad to him, and in this case where he had a 1/4 chance to be selected, what kind of good thing could over occur?

Maybe it was a pun with the talent's name since, you know, "Chosen One" and Stark would be the one chosen by the wheel, but it was still bad.

And so... Stark immediately knew who would be selected as the target before the wheel even stopped spinning.

'Yeah... I'm out of here,' he didn't even want to try his luck.

~TICK.... TICK...~

The wheel was now moving so slowly they would be able to predict who it would land on.

And at that moment...

~DASH~

Stark ran in the opposite direction, toward a random hallway further inside the sublevel.

"YOU LITTLE- IT DIDN'T EVEN STOP!" Akira was furious, and so... "MOON DOMAIN... SLASH~"

He swung his katana in Stark's direction, and as he was in Akira's domain, the swing translated into a giant silver slash that reached Stark out of nowhere: when Akira swung in his domain, the attack would land wherever he wanted.

But...

"INVINCIBLE DODGE," Stark rolled immediately once he saw the attack come in his direction.

"FUCKER!" Akira was getting extremely mad for some strange reason, maybe he truly despised when things didn't go his way?

"MOON DOMAIN, SLASH!" Stark was still in the domain as it was fairly big from Akira upgrading it to the max, and so he immediately slashed again.

But…

"COMBO DODGE x2!" thanks to the new perk of [Invincible Dodge], Stark was able to follow his first roll with another one, meaning he was able to dodge the second slash.

"SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!" Akira was ruthless as he kept slashing in Stark's direction, not understanding how he would avoid him so easily.

"COMBO DODGE x3; x4; x5… x8!" Stark kept running.

And after the 8th combo dodge hit… he was able to escape the [Moon Domain].

"=)" and now that they were out, Stark and his clone stopped, able to watch the wheel from their point of view while also escaping the slashes of Akira as they wouldn't be able to hit them from here.

"I'M GOING TO KILL YOU, FUCKER," Akira shouted again as he turned his head toward the wheel.

And at that moment, it stopped on… Sora?

Huh? Why would it stop on Sora? Wasn't Stark the one going to be selected?

"SEE, YOU DIDN'T EVEN NEED A REASON TO RUN!" Akira groaned again as he was ready to slash Sora in half.

But at that moment…

~TICK~

The wheel went crazy and suddenly did a complete 180-degree turn, resulting in the red arrow landing on Stark, who was in the section completely opposite to Sora.

"Knew it," Stark sighed as he got ready to run.
