The first floors were used to be way calmer than before.

Though the law of the jungle had been here for years, Kyoya's eyes spotted the fallen cities where humans used to dominate. The first floor might be the weakest, but a lot of humans had settled themselves here for good.

Their wish was to reach the limits of their bodies naturally.

The fallen cities were the reason of such wish as even here, people wanted to create families. The strong cities were meant to be their home and defense. The lands surrounding those cities were also strictly watched, but the first-floor residents easily lost their cities and families in a few days.

This is just the gap between the floors.

"The guild system is far better."

The guild also had formed the city where the adventurers could safely rest after or in between the missions. The city of the guild also could allow the people to leave the pillar without any problem, so this system was favored by Kyoya.

Even so, the chaos was something too scary.

His eyes were looking at the fallen city and its buildings that were crumbling even now. Everything was destroyed as 'monsters' just don't like to live in such an environment.

It's said that every living being has the possibility of reaching the human form, but just from their acts alone, Kyoya felt like those monsters prefer to settle themselves in their camps while weirdos might stuck out from the crowd and reach some greater heights.

What was the reason for Kyoya to arrive here with his wife by the way?

They were searching for the potatoes. A cute wife wants to learn more recipes and so Kyoya had gotten the duo quest. They were going around searching for the ingredients which were easy thanks to the map.

Furthermore, Kyoya had already completed his quest. Two hundred eyes were needed for that quest to be completed, so Kyoya had fought two more goblins that caused his thoughts to reach the rather frightening crux.

The monsters were nothing, but killing intelligent living beings was the key to this growth! After Kyoya realized this, his mind shook and he became careful with his words. The question of how long he is going to stay like that for?

A yandere wife doesn't hold herself back anymore.

This influence Kyoya deeply! What if he becomes a yandere himself?

'Bakana!'

There were some hints of it already happening, but Kyoya wasn't aware! He just massaged his temples while Xaya leaned down to snatch some of the potatoes... The potato is the first ingredient for the new dish.

Xaya can only cook with the power of the all creation system.

The recipe was already here as Kyoya went for the simple dish, so the couple was going around the first floor in search of those.

"Xaya... You know I wanted to seal the black holes in between the floors, right? When my level reaches 40, then I will be able to go to the third floor... Shouldn't I have already some information as to how can I seal it?"

"Mmm~~ Does husband still want to be a hero?"

"Not really... The things will come back to normal and this is what I want."

Kyoya knew he fucked up.

The level growth depends on the most on his bow and victims who can be called 'human beings'. He hoped to find more ways to grow up and the black hole in the sky seemed to be the perfect answer.

The mistakes of his wife and her desires are the only keys to Kyoya's growth.

"Your bow..."

"My bow?"

Kyoya's bow was the one he had stolen from the adventurers. It was a low-level weapon and its durability was getting lower the more Kyoya fought. The level of the husband is growing up yet the same can not be said about his weapons and equipment.

The current abilities of Kyoya were as such:

Sharp Eye works with minimap too, but it needs more level to reveal more information. Even now, Kyoya was using this passive skill to look at this minimap. Thanks to it, Kyoya could notice a few red dots coming closer to the fallen city.

Those were adventurers searching for some edible food and usable weapons.

The range of Kyoya's minimap is not big, but it was enough to hide from their eyes. Behind the building, Kyoya took out the robe, then put it on his wife who was floating on his back... It was as if she was a ghost!

The robe made things worse, but Kyoya had no way of hiding his wife's body differently. It was not something Xaya liked, but Kyoya was constantly reminding her that the world is not full of filth, so she closed her mouth.

The lady perceives what she wants to, but eventually, those words will be engraved deeply within her heart.

'At least level 40 archer... Those can be found in the safety camps...'

Kyoya muttered inwardly, then came out from the hideout. He was followed by the purple goblin, but there were already some explanations ready within his mind.

The sight of Kyoya coming out with 'ghost on his back' and 'small creature behind' was strange and suspicious, so the adventurers tensed. Their hands clenched the weapons, then eyes deeply tried to pierce through Kyoya.

There weren't any signs of killing intent as for now.

"Hello, I have been waiting for humans! My whole party died from the monster raid, so I had to hide here."

"Who are these two?"

"They are 'tamed' by my technique- Ugh!"

Such words weren't sounding great in Xaya's ears, results obvious. Kyoya nearly coughed some blood, but he knew that his wife is already disappointed that he talks with the filth and even tries to work with them.

But husband withstood all the pain and coldness coming out from the 'ghost', then spoke his fabricated story.

"The chaos is way too dangerous! You can follow us, but if you want to enter the safety camp..."

What matters the most on the first floor is loyalty. The adventurer spoke about the closest safety camp and its leader who was building up an army for himself. He also added that there might be a need for Kyoya to pass down his taming technique.

When Xaya heard it, her cute head slightly went up, but Kyoya quickly suppressed her by putting his hand on her hair.

"This is understandable. What I want is a safe place..."

"Good. How much have you scoured throughout this city? We are on the mission to bring some stuff."

"I haven't go around much... My party is too small."

"Yeah, this is true."

Kyoya spent some time arguing with Xaya as she truly wanted to go outside and kill the filth who had mentioned the 'loyalty'. But the old man's advice to stop Xaya from using power was as valuable as Kyoya's wish to teach her common sense.

He did his best to convince Xaya, then Kyoya finally headed towards the safety camp.

"It will be fine. I just need to find an archer, then go on a mission with him."

"Filth will just enjoy his fame in the safety camp. Hmpf."

A husband could only shake his head.

Completely oblivious that his eyes looking at the new world will change upon arriving in the safety camp.
