I Can Copy Everything Without Limit

Chapter 10

C10 – They Had Encountered an Assassination Attempt!

Inside a cave within the Endless Forest, Magical Beasts were highly territorial, rarely allowing others of their kind to encroach upon their domain. The more powerful the Magical Beast, the stronger its sense of territory.

Following the demise of the Red-eye Blood Wolf, Wei Lulin had no concerns about encountering other Magical Beasts within the cave. Approaching the Sun Opening Fruit Tree, he reached out to pluck a fruit. Simultaneously, the Copy Program within his mind sprang into action.

Over the past few days, Wei Lulin had mastered the program’s pattern through continuous copying and pasting of Meridian Grass. Copying and pasting an identical item required substantial energy, but simply copying an item demanded far less.

The Sun Opening Fruit was a Low Rank Grade Eight spiritual medicine. To paste a Sun Opening Fruit would necessitate a significant number of Spirit Stones. Even Middle Rank Spirit Stones of Grade Seven might prove insufficient, let alone those of Grade Ten. However, for a mere copy and temporary storage of the program, a single Low Grade Spirit Stone should suffice.

Wei Lulin’s decision to duplicate the Sun Opening Fruit under the watchful eyes of Wei Ying and the others was a strategic move for the future. His current wealth made duplicating and pasting Meridian Grass trivial. Once his meridians were mended, he planned to commence his cultivation. With his High Level Grade Eight Cultivation Talent, reaching the peak of the Body Refining Stage would be achievable, and he might well require the Sun Opening Fruit for a breakthrough.

Moreover, the Sun Opening Fruit was not only beneficial for advancing through the Body Refining Stage but also offered considerable aid to warriors at the Qi Refining Stage.

His cultivation had fallen behind due to his damaged meridians. To catch up and surpass his peers quickly without external assistance was an impossibility; thus, he had to capitalize on every chance.

To buy time for the Sun Opening Fruit’s duplication, Wei Lulin feigned extreme caution. It took him over twenty breaths to carefully detach the first fruit, and more than ten additional breaths to place it securely into the Jade Box.

As he had predicted, he used less than a fifth of the Spirit Stone’s Spirit Qi to perfectly replicate the Sun Opening Fruit. The triumphant duplication filled him with joy.

Without delay, he swiftly harvested the remaining two Sun Opening Fruits, placed them into the Jade Box, and returned them to an eagerly waiting Wei Ying.

Upon receiving the three Jade Boxes from Wei Lulin, the usually composed Wei Ying burst into raucous laughter, “Hahaha, the gods are indeed just!”

“With these three Sun Opening Fruits, the Wei family will gain three Peak Experts in the Qi Transformation Stage within a month. Soon, we will not only eclipse the Xie family as the preeminent family in Yao Country, but we may even supplant the royal family as the true rulers.”

“Eighth Elder!” Baoyi interjected, seeing Wei Ying’s uncharacteristic outburst.

“Oh! My apologies, I lost my composure!” Baoyi’s reminder snapped Wei Ying out of his hysteria, and he quickly regained his equilibrium.

Realizing that the Jiaang family’s experts had located this place, Wei Ying understood that the existence of the Sun Opening Fruit was no longer a secret. His paramount task was now to safely transport the three fruits back to his family and entrust them to the elders.

“Baosan, you’re in charge of escorting Lulin back to our shop in Lindorin Town. I’ll take Baoyi and Baoer and head straight back to the family,” Wei Ying instructed. Securing the three Jade Boxes, he promptly departed the cave with Baoyi and Baoer.

After Wei Ying and his companions vanished into the cave, Baosan lingered, approaching the fallen members of the Jiaang family to search their remains.

In the aftermath of their victory over the Jiaang family, they had been too focused on harvesting the Sun Opening Fruits to bother with the spoils of war. Now, with time on his side, Baosan was determined not to overlook the opportunity to claim valuable treasures.

The four fallen experts were formidable, with two surpassing Baosan’s own strength, ensuring that their possessions were bound to be of significant worth.

Watching Baosan gather the spoils of war, Wei Lulin found himself coveting the treasures carried by the four individuals. He was aware, though, that such items were beyond his reach, so he deliberately avoided looking at Baosan.

Moreover, he had more pressing matters at hand, namely harvesting leaves from the Sun Opening Fruit Tree.

Once the Sun Opening Fruit bloomed and fruited, nearly ninety percent of its energy went to the fruit. Yet, a sliver of energy remained in the leaves, each leaf holding an amount of energy equivalent to a Spirit Locking Stone with exceptionally high Spirit Strength.

Influenced by the Sun Opening Fruit, the leaves retained not only Spiritual Force but also a faint trace of the power of rule.

This power of rule was ineffective for experts above the Body Refining Stage. However, for those in the Qi Refining Stage, particularly at the lower levels, the impact was beyond imagination. These were precisely the resources he needed most at the moment.

The Sun Opening Fruit Tree stood just over a meter tall and didn’t have many leaves. After a careful count, he found there were barely more than a dozen energy-infused leaves.

Despite the scarcity of leaves, Wei Lulin was content, knowing he had the means to increase their number.

After he finished collecting the leaves, Baosan completed his gathering of the spoils. Baosan, glancing at the ready Wei Lulin, spoke with an icy tone, “Let’s go!”

Wei Lulin was unfazed by Baosan’s aloof demeanor. He might not be familiar with Baosan or aware of his background, but he understood that Baosan was someone solely dedicated to cultivation. Such individuals only showed respect to those stronger than themselves and often displayed arrogance toward the weaker ones.

Being someone unable to cultivate, Wei Lulin was just an ordinary, frail individual. It would indeed be odd if Baosan had shown him respect.

Wei Lulin hastened his steps, trailing behind Baosan as they exited the cave through the lengthy, pitch-black tunnel.

Wei Lulin’s time in the cave had been brief, but the oppressive, dark atmosphere had been unsettling. Stepping out into the open, he took a deep breath of the fresh air, and his spirits instantly lifted.

Baosan was not Wei Ying. His arrogant nature meant he didn’t go out of his way to assist Wei Lulin. He simply led the way, leaving Lulin to keep up as best he could. Although Lulin had managed to repair a third of his meridians, he was still just an ordinary person with a less than robust constitution. After only a few miles, he was gasping for breath, clearly exhausted.

“I’ll carry you,” Baosan said, his impatience evident as he noticed the sky darkening, Lulin’s pace slowing, and his breathing growing more labored.

Without waiting for Lulin’s consent, Baosan grabbed him and increased their speed, heading towards the territory of the Grade Ten Magical Beast.

“I have to repair my meridians quickly and leverage various external forces to boost my strength rapidly.” Baosan’s dismissive behavior stung Lulin’s pride deeply.

Previously, Lulin had focused on healing his meridians to protect himself. Now, his mindset had shifted significantly. He was determined to strengthen his meridians to become more powerful, to avoid being underestimated, and to earn the respect of others.
