258  Husband!

Looking at the black box with purple engravings floating above the blue seas, Rui Lian's eyes quivered in absolute shock.

"The same energavings... as in my necklace. How?"

Zhao Tian flew beside her and muttered, looking at the black box, "Now, try touching it."

A frown creased her eyebrow and as she extended her hand, the black box flew near her. As her palm came into contact with the surface of the black box, *feen* the purple engraving glowed in an omnious color, and it shook for a second before bursting into pieces.

Because of the outburst force, Rui Lian and Zhao Tian's hair fluttered in the air, their calm gazes looking at the monstrosity in front of them.

Glancing at the gigantic monster in front of her, Rui Lian's eyes narrowed, glimpsing at Zhao Tian. "As you said, there is an Eldritch fiend."

Zhao Tian just shrugged and she turned her gaze back to the Eldritchfiend in front of her. "Why is it so weak?"

A soft mutter escaped her lips and Zhao Tian raised an eyebrow. "Weak?"

"GRAHHHH!!" The Eldritchfiend roared and glared at the two souls standing in front of it.

As its eyes fell on Zhao Tian, its eyes stood still for a second, feeling the darkness in his soul but then its body shook feeling the potency of darkness around him.

"GRRRR!" It growled, looking at Zhao Tian, quite confused about the unknown phenomena in front of it.

*swish* A swirl of green energy flowed around Rui Lian's body and she waved her right hand. *sleech* A large slash made of wind energy appeared out of thin air.

Before the Eldritchfiend could even notice, its body was sliced into two by the sharp wind energy.

*thud* As the body of the Eldritchfiend fell into the sea, it turned into a black goo and disappeared into nothing.

"See, it is so weak."

Hearing her words, Zhao Tian spoke, "This Eldritchfeind is the weakest type among the Eldritchfiends so, of course, it would be weak."

Rui Lian nodded her head. "That too, but it is weaker than I expected. Even you at Monarch Astral Stage could kill this. But in truth, even people from Astral Realm struggle against the weakest of these Eldritchfiends."

"The seal has been making it weaker and weaker over these past years; it seems like it is a corrosive seal."

Zhao Tian gave a slight nod. "Well, anyway... I am sure now you understand that there is no family treasure here."

Looking at him, Rui Lian nodded her head. "Yeah, but I am still wondering why they said it was a family treasure."

Zhao Tian shrugged casually "Ask that your parents or ancestors."

Rui Lian could only sigh and Zhao Tian spoke "There must be many black boxes like this scattered across the oceans in this whole middle star."

Rui Lian's gaze squinted upon hearing this and she spoke "I don't know why they said it was Family treason. But since I am here and this situation is linked to me, I will clear all the Eldritchfiends."

Zhao Tian was quite impressed and spoke with a nod of his head "Hm, good thought. You can just fly around and detect these black boxes. Then you can touch it and kill all the Eldritchfiends."

Huh? Rui Lian glanced at him "You are not coming with me?"

-_- "I have many other things to do, so you can go and kill them. Its not very hard to find them for you."

A sigh escaped her lips and she muttered "Well then, I will take care of it. I will come and see you after finishing this."

Zhao Tian gave a nod "En."

*swoosh* She flew towards the seas and Zhao Tian murmured under his lips "Guess, it'll take some days for her to comeback."

Zhao Tian flew back to the Lunar Blossom Sect to bathe, as he has yet to bathe.

After taking a bath in the cold lake, he walked inside the sect building wearing white and blue robes.

As he entered the sect's grounds, the disciples were taken aback by his presence and immediately showed their respect by bowing down to welcome him. "Sect Guardian."

Zhao Tian acknowledged them with a nod and he moved, sitting on the wooden. Quickly, even more disciples came to see him, as it is rare to see him in the sect and greeted him.

A little later, Ling Chen hurriedly came there after hearing the small rumors and saw Zhao Tian talking with some of the female disciples.

"Mr.Tian." As she walked near him, the disciples stopped giggling and bowed to Ling Chen, "Elder Chen."

Ling Chen gave a nod and asked in a stern voice, "What are you doing here? Go back to your training."

The disciples hurriedly nodded and rushed from there.

Zhao Tian let out a chuckle as he watched the group scurry away like scared rabbits, while Ling Chen took a seat next to him on the bench. With a smile, Zhao Tian draped his hand around her shoulder and Ling Chen asked, "Mr. Tian, you were teasing those disciples. aren't you?" Zhao Tian just showed a smile and Ling Chen shook her head helplessly. "And stop calling me, Mr. Tian; it feels weird now that you are my woman."

Ling Chen blushed upon hearing this: "I have been calling you like that since the start. So, it became a habit."

She looked at him and asked timidly "What do you want me to call you? Just your name or... like Meiying calling you as H-Husband?"

Zhao Tian smiled softly "How do you like to me?" he asked, gently pulling her shoulder and bringing her close to him.

Ling Chen placed her hand on his chest and glanced at his delicate blue eyes as a shy voice escaped her lips "Husband?"

Zhao Tian eyes softened and Ling Chen was flustered, quickly averting her gaze in embarrassment "No, this is so embarrassing..."

Chuckling, Zhao Tian spoke "Call me again."

"No." Ling Chen shook her head keeping her gaze away but Zhao Tian gently turned her chin and made her look at him.

Looking at his face, she muttered in a low voice "Husband. H-Hmph, are you content now?" she asked pouting her lips. n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

"Yeah." Zhao Tian chuckled before leaning in closer, playfully nibbling on her bottom lip. Closing her eyes, Ling Chen too reciprocated the kiss gently biting on his lips. As she lost herself in the intoxicating taste of the kiss, she heard a loud yell "WHAT?! ELDER CHEN?"

Ling Chen abruptly opened her eyes and saw two female disciples, standing there with their jaws dropped on the floor.
