Chapter 103: The Prison Cart

Chapter 103: The Prison Cart

Around 6 o'clock in the morning, the sound of cats meowing and scratching at the door woke everyone up.

Normally, this time was when Chen Mu and He Ying did their morning exercises, but just as they were about to start, the commotion outside interrupted them.

More than a dozen people stumbled out of the house.

Their gazes all fell on Du Jiajia.

Du Jiajia had dark circles under her eyes, clearly not having slept well last night.

"Hehe, sorry, I was too anxious. As soon as it got light, I couldn't wait to see Little Huang..." Du Jiajia explained.

After Dong Junwei finally relented, Du Jiajia could officially meet her beloved cat Little Huang today. The urgency in her heart was evident, which led to her inadvertently attracting the cat over.

Everyone could only smile helplessly.

But they also knew that Du Jiajia couldn't precisely control such things, so blaming her was pointless.

There was no rush in getting up early anyway.

However, this meant that Chen Mu needed to start his preparations in advance.

After a simple breakfast, everyone gathered in the open space near the door.

"Let's take it step by step. First, let's create an enclosed box and see how the cat reacts," Chen Mu said.

He had carefully considered this matter last night, as it concerned Du Jiajia's safety, and they needed to be cautious.

He first had Lu Shanshan reduce the weight of a piece of plastic, then made a plastic box that could just fit Du Jiajia, and finally installed wheels at the bottom.

In short, it became a transparent prison cart.

However, Du Jiajia's "prisoner" head was not exposed; there were only small ventilation holes on the box.

After reducing the weight of the plastic, it was easy to control, and the whole cart was completed in one go, with only the wheels at the bottom made separately, but it took only a few minutes in total.

Compared to the first handcart that took half a day to make and was extremely ugly, this prison cart was like the difference between a Maserati and a hand-operated tractor.

Du Jiajia originally thought that she could rush out and give her cat a warm embrace, and everything would be over.

Who would have thought it would be so troublesome?

But fearing that the hard-won opportunity would be taken away, she could only let everyone fuss over it.

With a face full of grievance, she squeezed into the plastic box.

A chain was connected to the back of the prison cart, held by Wei Dalei's hand, ready to pull it back immediately if something went wrong.

Of course, to reduce vibrations, many cotton threads were thoughtfully placed inside the prison cart.

Everything was ready.

With a heavy heart, Chen Mu pushed the prison cart he had made with his own hands, slowly pushing Du Jiajia outside step by step.

Naturally, Du Jiajia was extremely excited.

The outside cats were also excited and meowing.

The glass partition had been removed, and the original passage had been widened, but it was still very narrow for the kitten; not even a paw could fit in.

After pushing the cart completely outside the door, Chen Mu quickly stepped back.

Then, everyone nervously looked outside, trying not to breathe loudly. However, due to the angle, many people couldn't see anything clearly, only Chen Mu and Wei Dalei could see the whole cart and the cat's reaction.

Little Huang was clearly very excited to see Du Jiajia. After bouncing in place for a moment, it lowered its body and blinked its curious eyes, observing the prison cart.

Given its intelligence, it clearly couldn't understand the meaning of the cart, but it was a bit puzzled as to why Du Jiajia looked like that.

Chen Mu's biggest concern was that it might suddenly extend its paw and scratch.

Fortunately, the kitten's emotions were very stable, and it just curiously looked at Du Jiajia.

"From the looks of it, because of their psychic connection, Little Huang even knows how not to hurt Du Jiajia." Tang Jing walked up behind Chen Mu and looked outside along the narrow passage, observing the situation.

"Okay." Chen Mu nodded, but his gaze remained fixed outside.

"Can we proceed to the next step?"

"We can."

Chen Mu made a gesture, signaling Wei Dalei to slowly pull the cart back.

The cat watched as Du Jiajia slowly retreated inside the door. It stood up, showing some reluctance but still without any aggressive movements.

Chen Mu opened the prison cart.

Du Jiajia walked out with a flushed face and exclaimed excitedly, "See, Little Huang won't hurt me."

"Still, be careful," Chen Mu said, extending his right palm and placing it on the cart. The cart suddenly melted into a pile of soft plastic on the ground.

Then he said to Du Jiajia, "Don't move."

In the next moment, the pile of plastic slowly moved, transforming into a flowing liquid on the ground. It crept all the way to Du Jiajia's feet and then gradually climbed up from her feet.

"Huh?"

Du Jiajia was startled but immediately remembered Chen Mu's words, so she kept her body still.

The plastic, fluid-like, flowed up along her calves and gradually covered both of Du Jiajia's long thighs.

"Do you feel anything?" He Ying curiously asked from the side.

"It's ticklish," Du Jiajia giggled.

The plastic continued to move upward, but its speed slowed down. In about two minutes, it covered Du Jiajia completely, leaving only her face exposed.

At this point, Du Jiajia looked like a sculpture, fully enveloped by the plastic.

"Ah, I can't move like this!"

Although she found it quite novel, being completely restrained was very uncomfortable.

"Don't worry, it's not over yet," Chen Mu said, continuing to work meticulously.

Soon, various joints on Du Jiajia's body loosened to varying degrees, and she slowly regained the ability to move.

Eventually, Du Jiajia appeared like a female warrior, wearing a set of transparent plastic armor.

This armor was not completely enclosed, and her face was protected by a mesh-like shield, somewhat resembling a hockey player's helmet.

Her hands and feet were also exposed.

Du Jiajia looked at herself from side to side, then her hands naturally hung down. She walked a few steps back and forth with a serious expression, imagining herself as a majestic female general.

Though she wasn't sure about the ultimate effectiveness of this armor, it was already visually appealing.

Chen Mu had previously experimented with such a method on himself. Since every inch of his skin could serve as a launching point for his abilities, wearing armor on himself significantly improved his efficiency. However, the metal armor he used before was nearly 20 times more challenging than the plastic armor that Lu Shanshan had reduced in weight.

The Iron Man-like effect had always intrigued Chen Mu, and this time he decided to try it out on Du Jiajia.

So far, it seemed to be working quite well.

"I request to go into battle immediately!" Du Jiajia was immersed in her own grandeur, unable to contain her excitement. She clasped her hands into fists, speaking with a decisive and resolute tone.

"Approved!" Chen Mu casually crafted a plastic dagger and handed it to Du Jiajia, pointing at the cat outside. "Go and vanquish this cat, make no mistakes!"

Du Jiajia looked at the plastic dagger in her hand, which was only slightly larger than a finger. "Uh, this..."
