Chapter 28 28. Treasure
But regardless of what he said, Lucius's slick words didn't seem to be getting him anywhere as whilst he was speaking he could feel a cold tongue lick his earlobe.
"If you mean what you'd did then prove it!"
As Lucius heard this, he really couldn't hold back anymore.
"Don't blame me for what happens next, you really forced me this time!"
As Lucius spoke a wild light flashed in his eyes as he pounced on Reina right there in the hall way.
.....
After another long hour, Lucius walked out of the hallway slightly refreshed now that he had extinguished the fire in his lower body.
By the time he left Camilla had already sorted the relocation and movement of treasures and had even arranged for the relocation of the captured women and children.
The people with homes would go back to live in their nearby villages and those without would be sent to the nearby revolutionary army outpost for further help and support.
It was times like the is that once again renewed him that besides being an excellent assassin and fighter she was also a superb secretary.
Seeing this Lucius walked up to Camilla and patted her on the shoulder.
"Good Job Camilla, I can always rely on you."
As he said this Lucius still felt a little embarrassed.
When he first woke up he said that he wouldn't play around with Reina because he wanted to help Camilla alas, the mind is willing but the flesh is weak.
All it took was a few taunts and teasings and Lucius fell back into Reina's amazing body.
After all that, all he could do was congratulate her on her hard work.
Looking back on it, it was really quite shameless.
If Lucius was in Camilla's shoes he would definitely give him a good beating to wake him up.
Fortunately, Camilla was his assistant through and through. Serving the leader of the revolutionary army was only natural.
"There's no need for any thanks Young Leader, I'm only doing my job." Said Camilla.
"Young Leader, there are also a few things that need to be looked at."
The treasury of these mountain bandits that you asked me to look out for has not been touched and has been prepared.
I'll be needing you to take a look.
As Lucius hard this a light flashed between his eyes.
This was it!
Capturing Reina with his system was never his true intention, only a pleasant surprise.
His first purpose was always to steal one of the protagonist's strongest treasures.
But as Lucius was going, he suddenly heard a voice behind him
"If you're going to take my treasures you should bring me along. It's going to be hard to crack all the locks without my help."
As Lucius heard this he didn't say anything, just silently agreeing to her coming along.
After all, at this stage he wasn't as broken as the protagonist that would simply blast apart any safes to get the treasures inside. If he wanted the reassurance then he could only ask Reina for help.
But whilst Lucius didn't say much at Reina's arrival.
When Camilla saw Reina her face crumpled turning into a terrifyingly gloomy expression.
"Vixen." Cursed Camilla
Seeing this Reina raised her eyebrow before putting on a crafty smirk she wrapped her arms around Lucius's neck
"Jealous? Well I guess you should be. I'm the one who stole your precious limitless prince after all. But theirs nothing you can do, he's mine now."
Boom!
Lucius could feel an terrifying explosion of killing intent that made his bones cold.
Reina saw the killing intent forced at her but didn't say anything and just scoffed.
Yesterday she was like a meek mouse in front of Camilla but that was only because she was posited and lost her powers.
If it wasn't for that she wouldn't fear Camilla at all
Furthermore, after the extreme night yesterday, Reina had broken her limit and now her rage state had been ridiculously strengthened
Right now under her rage state she could confidently claim the arrogant title of invincible in the 3rd class so she didn't care what Camilla thought Reina didn't fear her retaliating against her in the slightest.
In fact, she really wanted to get under her skin.
She was still the one that had poisoned her yesterday, if she didn't get her back she would be reconciled.
Lucius had to admit, Reina was truly despicable .
Even as she spoke she seemed to sound like such a heinous villain.
Although Lucius was the one who took advantage of her, when Reain spoke why did it seem like he was some helpless heroine in a NTR plot
Seeing that a bloody act fight was about to erupt Lucius just sighed as he split the two up.
"Sigh.. Reina, you should really watch how you talk. Your mountain bandit side is showing up again. And Camilla, don't pay attention to what Reina's saying she's clearly trying to get to you."
"Humph!"
Camilla just scoffed but as she did she decided to let Reina off the hook for now. But as she did she managed to get a glimpse of Reina's mocking eyes which only reignited her anger once more.
'Damn vixen!'
Camilla was a professional unlike the uncouth bandit so she ignored it and moved on, but deep down inside her heart, she wrote down this grudge.
In the future when she was stronger she would repay it back a hundred fold!
.....
The trio walked out to the treasury of the mountain bandits.
It was nothing too grand, just a simple small barnyard that was adjacent to the main building.
Inside the treasurey, there was nothing too grand just as few piles of silver and gold as well as a few jems and other things.
Knowing that now was her time to shine, Reina cracked her fingers as she stepped forwards.
Reina walked over to the side of the room and began to tinker with something in the corner when suddenly.
"Click!"
The giant sound of a mechanism being activated as a faint trembling could be felt beneath his feet.
Lucius could only watch in amazement as the floor boards on the floor began to pull apart revealing a metallic surface below.
