Chapter 71: No Idea.
Kyle was trapped in the building with Calista, he didn't know if he was to confront her or find soewhere to stay out of sight.
But that would be suspicious, he couldn't act suspiciously so Kyle simply shook his head at Isabella. That was enough to tell her that Calista couldn't join them.
"I'm currently in a meeting, tell her I will be with her shortly," Isabella responded.
"I apologize that for Mister Kyle, I wasn't informed of her coming here," Isabella apologized.
She noticed that he was uncomfortable but she didn't think too much about it.
"I think I should be taking my leave," Kyle responded but Isabella wasn't done with the conversation.
"Sir, before you go. I have to inform you that the CEO of Distort company wishes to meet you," Isabella informed Kyle.
"Meet me?" Kyle was surprised but this worked perfectly to his advantage because he knew how important this meeting would be.
"That is correct, they want to establish a closer relationship with our agency so the talents under us get a first pick in terms of audition," Isabella informed him. discover stories mv-l,e-mp _yr
"That is wonderful news," Kyle couldn't hide his excitement, everything was looking up for him but this was scary because when a series of good things happen.
There was one grand bad thing waiting to undo everything.
"Is there a time for this meeting?" Kyle questioned. It wasn't up to him to set the terms of this meeting because this CEO outranked him in terms of social standing.
It was Kyle who was fortunate in this meet and he wasn't going to blow it.
"9 PM today," Isabella responded but the time given was strange. Why would a meeting be set up at night with no regard to what he might have going on?
But beggars couldn't be choosers and Kyle didn't know when the next opportunity would present itself so he was going to grab it with both hands.
"Hm, that works for me," Kyle responded, he needed a P. A to handle these things because Isabella was swamped as it was.
And he had just the perfect hire but he could recall everything so what was the point of an assistant?
That was easy, time management. He was one man and needed help to handle certain things.

"I'm sorry but Miss Isabella will see you shortly. Please, make an appointment next time to avoid delays," Carly informed Calista, what she did could be considered unprofessional but in truth, it had slipped her mind.
Calista knew that shooting for the The White Whale movie would soon commerce and she needed to get everything in order before then.
It was no or never, Calista needed to talk about a few things with Isabella but she hadn't seen Kyle's car.
The influx of cars around made it hard for her to single out his car especially when she wasn't looking for it.
Calita calmed her breathing, she knew this was the opportunity of a lifetime.
"Cali?" A voice called out, Calista turned around because she recognized this voice.
"It can't be…!" Calista thought, her eyes darting around the room to find the person who had called her name until they settled on a scrawny-looking lady.
She was 4' 9 and her features were anything but appealing with her eyes looking lifeless.
It was easy to tell that this particular lady lived quite a difficult life and it was evident from her advanced face.
She was just nineteen yet looked like she was in her late forties.
"Laura?" Her name escaped Calista's lips. She couldn't believe that she was there.
Laura was a lady that had worked with her in one of her lesser movies and even in that movie, she was a background character.
She didn't know much about Laura but she looked even more horrendous than she remembered.
"I can't believe you're here!" Laura barked and rushed to Calista to hug her but she backed away.
Laura wasn't looking good but that wasn't why Calista backed away, the stench coming from her body was doused in perfume but the repugnant stench from her body was mixed in.
It was faint but it was there, a clear sign of poor hygiene and she didn't need that stench rubbed into her clothes.
"Laura, you're here to apply to?" Calista asked. If she didn't have the means to take care of her basic hygiene. There was no way she would have the money to pay for the fees needed to even apply.
"N-Not exactly," Laura responded but Calista saw her teeth, they looked like they were rotting.
"What the hell?" Calista thought, this was a sad sight and she realized at that moment that she must have fallen victim to the dark side of this life they all chased.
In no time, two bulky men approached her and asked her to leave.
Laura served as a grim reminder of what she would become if she wasn't successful in this endeavour.

Nate was in his apartment, playing video games to pass the time, he lost a job but he had an interview for a new one the next day.
He had a decent place and enjoyed the game, cursing and swearing over the mic.
One would think he was on a battlefield fighting for his life because this was not the personality he had shown to people.
But games brought out the worst in him or would it be more accurate to say he was a passionate man?
He was taken out of his immersion by his ringing phone, he didn't want to pick at first but a glance at the name snapped him back to reality.
"Shit!" Nate shouted, he was playing online so there was no way for him to pause the game, not that he cared at that moment.
He knew that Kyle wasn't a man to call him casually so this had to be business related.
"Hello? Kyle? Are you alright?" Nate asked but his face soon creased into a broad smile.
He couldn't believe what he heard, he had no idea what Kyle did for a living at this point but it was clear that he was loaded.
And if he offered him a position at his PA, there was no doubt that he would be paid well.
The conversation lasted a little over a minute but Nate got all the information he needed to know in that period of time.
He was going to be paid $1,000 daily, which roughly accumulated to $30,000 monthly.
Nate accepted it in a heartbeat and the moment the call ended, he let out a scream in celebration.
