Chapter 357 The Final Move
"I will kill you!" A huge amount of killing intent filled the air as Shisan's figure started to glow with dark shadow-like energy.
'Shi…' Song Liu's hands that were on the zither's strings trembled when she saw Shisan's face.
There were no expressions on her face, just endless bloodlust in her eyes.
"Hmm…" the woman, high up in the air, looked at her hand that was in front of her, she saw something that caused her to widen her eyes. "My hand is… trembling?"
"Is this because of her murderous intent?" She thought in disbelief looking at the killing intent condensing behind the woman. "Just how many people has she killed?"
Before she could think any more, she saw the woman disappearing from her place and appearing above before slashing down.
"You demonic cultivators are really getting ahead of yourselves thinking that you can touch her in my presence." The woman looked over her shoulder hearing Shisan's voice coming from there.
*Ting!*
She did not even raise her hand to defend against her strike. She snapped her fingers and a transparent barrier appeared in front of her.
"Demonic cultivator you said?" A disgusted look appeared on her face as she looked deep into Shisan's eyes before adding, "How dare you compare the great me to those low-life blood feeders?"n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
"You think just because you defeated this trash in the golden core realm above you, you can challenge someone in the soul formation realm?" The hollower her voice, the higher her aura became.
*Cracks!*
"Who said I never fought against someone in the soul formation realm?" Shisan pressed her blade against the barrier even further as the top of her blade started to exude the same black aura as hers and started to infuse it inside the barrier.
Cracks started to appear in the barrier before they started to expand all over it in different directions.
The woman narrowed her eyes and removed the barrier while making the huge fan behind her small and slashing down at Shisan at the same time.
Everything happened so fast that even the blade Shisan was holding barely moved any further. She watched as a huge torrent of wind gathered all around the fan as they came crashing down at her.
"This is 80% of my full-powered strike, the likes of you cannot even deal with it." The woman looked down on Shisan coldly.
"I never wanted to kill you…" all of the aura coming from Shisan suddenly vanished as she looked at the woman with a grin on her face.
She ignored the attack coming at her name and brought a talisman out which caused the woman's eyes to widen.
"All I wanted was just a bit of time." The talisman launched forward, and veins of threads of qi started to appear out of it.
They all weaved themselves into a huge net pushing the incoming back in the direction of the woman at a tremendous speed.
*Boom!*
"I may not be able to handle your attack but can you do it?" Shisan muttered as she watched the woman enveloped in the huge arrays of blades from all directions and rushed back to the ship.
'we need to leave now.' In an instant, she appeared on the ship but when she saw the empty dock, her eyes shook in fear.
"Are you looking for them?" Hearing the familiar voice she turned around instantly and saw the woman she almost killed standing there looking at her with a smirk on her face.
Behind her were the three disciples of Wuhan lying there unconscious, tied in bindings made from chains and their cultivation sealed with talismans.
"How…?" Shisan looked at the woman with coldness in her eyes.
'I have less than 30 percent of my total qi after using that Tier 6 talisman. I need to think of something fast.'
"Thinking of a way to sneak away?" Before she could think of something she heard another voice coming behind her.
Behind her was standing the woman she just escaped from, patting the dust from her clothes with one of her hands while holding an umbrella in the other hand. There was no sign of injuries on her body.
"Injuring me with my own attack was a good plan but you forgot to consider one thing." The umbrella in her hand shook and transformed back into the fan. "I am not a simple Soul Formation Realm cultivator."
*Splash!*
"Running is no longer an option." Seeing Shisan's feet shifting a little, the woman waved her hand, and a steel blade launched from her fan struck her feet.
Shisan glared at the woman with her teeth gritted and not uttering a single word.
The woman smiled and opened her fan before waving it in front of her face. As the fan passed by her face, a white-clothed mask appeared on her face.
"It is time, we leave this place before we attract the attention of the people here." The woman looked away, sensing auras coming in their direction. As she looked back the sun on her face flared and wisps of flames rushed towards Shisan touching her.
*Thud!*
Her eyes became vacant as those flames touched her and her body fell to the floor lifelessly.
The woman turned her attention from her to her subordinate who fell to her knees seeing her gaze.
"Go to the sect and proceed with the plan. If you dare to cause any trouble for us. I will personally use you for the sacrifice. I will return to the sect after cleaning up here, saying that you sent me on a mission." she could see the woman trembling in fear hearing her threats which caused a smile to appear on her face.
" I dare not to make any more mistakes, master." Bowing one more time, she disappeared from the place.
"Now then, let's leave this place." With a wave of her hand, the woman made the shop rise higher and disappear into the sky.
She failed to notice that there was a small yellow piece of paper falling from the ship and landing on the ground.
