Floating Island - Triple S Talent

Chapter 202: Sky Shattering Slash

"Elen, Ayumi... stay behind and just watch," Lein ordered calmly, though the energy radiating from his body was anything but calm. Ayumi and Elen, standing a little distance away, could only stare in pale-faced awe. Even though Lein's aura wasn't directed at them, they could still feel the terrifying pressure, as if their bodies were being crushed by an invisible force.

"No... I've lost," Fryon growled inwardly, trapped within the sword prison that confined him completely. Frustration welled up inside him; all his efforts, all his carefully crafted strategies, were now crumbling. He had given Lein all his belongings and items.

Fryon's face flushed red, his muscles tensing as his jaw clenched tightly. He growled low, glaring at Lein with eyes full of hatred. In his fury, golden energy surged around him, while the griffin feathers surrounding his body bristled sharply in the air. In an instant, the golden feathers shot toward the sword prison walls, attacking with full force.

Clang!

A loud crash echoed, creating ripples of energy across the golden barrier that trapped him. Fryon didn't give up. More golden feathers followed, slamming into the barrier with brutal strength.

Clang!.. Clang!...

Each impact rang out, sending shockwaves through the air with every blow. But despite the strength of the strikes, the golden prison remained unshaken.

"Damn it... What kind of prison is this?" Fryon muttered in panic.

He gritted his teeth, his eyes frantically searching for a way out. He knew Lein was strong—stronger than he had ever imagined. Now, that fear was starting to consume him.

Fryon took a deep breath, his chest rising and falling as he tried to calm himself. His gaze remained fixed on Lein, who stood outside the prison with an expressionless face, his sharp eyes seemingly assessing Fryon's every move. Fryon felt disgusted but powerless.

"Any last words?" Lein asked coldly, his voice devoid of any mercy.

He didn't need any information from Fryon. His only desire was to end this man with his own hands—revenge for the massacre of humanity.

Fryon remained silent, his gaze full of anger, locked onto Lein, with no words leaving his lips.

Seeing no response, Lein raised his sword, and holy energy began to flow from the golden blade.

"Sky Shattering Slash," he murmured calmly. The sword in his hand glowed brightly, emitting an aura so powerful that the air around it trembled. The holy light from the sword shone with deadly intensity, instilling fear in anyone who witnessed it.

*Note: Skill 2: (Sky Shattering Slash) creates a sword aura 100 meters long. Ignores 50% of enemy defenses, self heals 50% of damage. Cooldown: 10 minutes.

With a single motion, Lein swung his sword back, then slashed toward Fryon, his gaze never leaving the man trapped within the sword prison.

From behind, Ayumi held her breath. "Strong... so strong..." she muttered, her voice barely audible amidst the sounds of battle. Her eyes couldn't tear away from the sight of Lein and his glowing sword.

Elen, who stood nearby, smiled proudly. She knew for certain that the sword—with one slash—would end everything. There was no longer any doubt in her mind; Fryon had no hope of escape.

In the distance, outside the barrier walls, the Japanese soldiers watched the entire scene with excitement. A few moments ago, when time had reversed, their sorrow from Ayumi's death had vanished. Their alliance leader was alive once more, and now the World Market Trade leader, Lein, had appeared to help.

At this moment, they observed Lein's final move, having activated his Sky Shattering Slash. The massive sword aura, 100 meters long, looked like a beam from the heavens, visible even in broad daylight.

Every soldier held their breath, their eyes fixed on Lein, who stood valiantly before Fryon.

"Look... Lord Lein is going to finish him," said a young soldier, his voice filled with excitement and anticipation.

His eyes sparkled as he watched the golden sword aura shoot from Lein's hand, ready to mercilessly slash through Fryon. To him, Lein was their last hope. Fryon had brutally killed their alliance leader before, leaving deep scars in the hearts of the soldiers.

"Haha... Lord Lein is so strong. I'm sure that man is done for," another soldier replied, his voice full of confidence. There was hope in his tone, a mix of admiration and relief at the sight of Lein.

However, among them, Kaito, the captain, stood slightly apart, observing with a deeper gaze. His eyes were sharp, his face calm, but within his heart surged a deep sense of gratitude.

"Thank you, Leader Lein," he whispered with a tone of profound respect and gratitude.

Since Lein's arrival on the battlefield, Kaito had felt relief and could breathe normally again. As the captain leading their small alliance, he knew that the World Market Trade Alliance had made an agreement with other alliances to help.

However, he hadn't expected direct assistance from the World Market Trade Alliance, as they were not the only alliance in need. Fortunately, Elen had come and prevented massive losses, but Fryon, their enemy, was simply too strong.

Now, seeing Lein come in person, he could finally set aside his worries. As the leader of humanity's number one alliance, Lein was incredibly powerful—the strongest. If Lein couldn't defeat Fryon, no one could.

"Go on... kill him, Lord Lein," Kaito muttered with excitement, feeling the cold wind blow through his long, flowing hair. His gaze remained focused on the battlefield.

Without saying a word, Lein raised his sword and slashed directly toward Fryon. Fryon, who had once appeared so formidable, now resembled a chicken trapped in a cage. His eyes widened, filled with panic he couldn't hide.

"You will regret this... Your race will be wiped out..." Fryon's voice sounded like an empty threat, caught between fear and the realization that the end had come. His eyes filled with terror as Lein's sword descended like lightning from the sky, directly toward him.

"Crack!"

Lein's sword aura had descended, piercing through the protective sword prison. The sword's light bypassed the barrier and effortlessly sliced through Fryon's body. Not only that, but the ground along the 100-meter stretch was also split, creating a shallow fissure in the earth.
